Dante Davenport will be supervising the duels, and therefore, If errors are made and so forth, Dante Davenport will intervene, possibly in the said thread -- however -- more than likely via PM to either of the two duelists.

Duel RP Briar entered the dueling room five minutes early. it was in the dungens, she didnt like it there. it was too clostrophobi nd she disliked the feeling of all that stone and earth abover her head. she smiled at the professor as she read the rules she had never dueled before but was keen to start. once she had finished and was sure she know what she was doing she climbed onto the platform facing the door she she knew when her oponent arrived

Hyacin entered the duelling chamber. Her heart was beating so fast, she haven't had a duel before but she knew she can do it. She saw her opponent and inhaled. She knew this would end. She pointed her wand ready for the duel.

briar watched as her opponend entered the room and was happy to see that she looked younger than herself. "hey I'm briar" she introduced offering to shake the other girls hand "do you have any idea how we start? she asked unsure what to do she knew the rules but not the formalities smiling slightly she took her place at the end of the platforms and drew out her wand ready to begin the tauniment.

Hyacin stepped forward to shake's the girl's hand. Briar looks nice and Hyacin was a little relived. "Hey, I'm, Hyacin" She looked around, " Maybe we could start, what do you think? I haven't had any experience about this." she admitted,smiling. Maybe this would be fun.

Hyacin pointed her wand defensively on Briar, " Maybe this would be fun" she said. She smiled at Briar, "I'm sorry if we hurt each other,"she said apologetically. Hyacin took a deep breath yelled, "Stupefy!" and a flash of light merged from Hyacin's wand.

Briar realised that they may as well start. she smiled one last time at the girl and then bowed, she had heared that it was a tradition, but she didnt see why it should be as in a real fight it sould be stuped to bow to the real opponent. however before she had fully rison from this bow she heard hyacin yell the stunning spell. ickily she had enough forwarning to dodge out of the way before any damige was done, however she felt the heat of it pass her arm and rustle her hair, maybe it would have been a smarter idea to tie it back she thought, well it was too late now. Tarantallegra she whispered trying to give as little indication of the spell as possible. she hadn't cast this spell many times before but knew how effective the result could be.

Hyacin instinctively,dodged her opponents spell with a smile she's really enjoying the fight and wished that Briar enjoys herself as well and doesn't take it seriously. Briar's spell was unfamilar to Hyacin but she was relieved when she hadn't been hit,she don't want to experiment the spell's effect. She pointed her wand to Briar and performed the trip jinx

Briar heard hyacin cast the trip jinx and jumped to avoid it however this didn't seem to work as she she landed she struggled to keep her balance and then ended up landing almost on her face. from this position she whispered, Petrificus Totalus and watched as the red(?) light made its way across the platform as she got up.

Hyacin,though just a whisper, heard the spell that Briar cast. She was missed by an inch. Briar just cast a spell that Hyacin hates and it was like a trauma to her. She focused but can't stop the tears from falling,she shouted,"Stupefy!" directly pointing her wand to Briar.

Briar saw that she was really starting to annoy Hyacin, sorry[/b] she thought as she could see her last spell really got to her and she was starting to fight back. quickly she shouted protago to cast a shield to stop the incomeing jinx, thankfully it worked although she had not really fully mastered that defencive spell yet, she was more used to the attack. now she tryed something that she had only read about and not actually practiced yet. she sait the incantation fot the knee reversal hex hoping that it would hit the target and work properly.

Hyacin was so unfocused that she was unaware of Briair's spell and got hit by it. Her knee turned backwards and she fell down. She murmured, "finite" to erase the spell and when she was back to her normal state," Expelliarmus!" Hyacin exclaimed disarming her opponent.

briar saw as Hyacin's knees flipped and she fell over. she laughed as she saw her struggling to get up. however this was not a good plan as she let her guard down. she had a sharp reminder of this as a jet of red light shot across the stage at her. and her wand came flying out of her hand. she tried to grab at it and as it started to arc across the room however at the last minute she was able to wrap her fingers around her rowan wand. "Rictusempra" she said again hoping to get more pleasing results this time around.

Duel RP - "Protago" Briar whispered as quietly as she could and not a moment too soon. as a jet of light came flying across the platform. however she knew what the spell was for so she pretended it had hit her stumpleing slightly as she held her lefs together as she tunbled over she muttered her spell "Tarantallegra" she said taking careful aim as she hit the ground rolled over and got back on her feet again
