Saira was reading A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot, reviewing something for her class. It was something about goblins, or was it elves? It didn’t really matter, either ways anybody could tell that she didn’t find it that interesting, as she could be found in the student lounge, sleeping on the couch. The book was on top of her face, covering about half of it, and it was still being held by her hands. She was lightly snoring, evidently tired from not getting enough sleep the other night. The room was otherwise pretty empty, there were just a couple of students who were chatting and playing games in the corner. No one was particularly bothered by the girl who was lying on the couch.

The Student Lounge was something that Seb didn't even know existed. He thought it was so cool that in addition to their common rooms, they now had somewhere else to just go hang out! He had only just heard about it that morning so he decided to go and check it out and see what all the fuss was about!
There were only a handful of students there when Seb entered, but he was excited to see them playing games of sorts. He didn't want to interrupt any games, so he made his way over to one of the couches, where a girl lay sleeping. He cackled, and took a seat, and grabbed a cushion from next to him. With a quick look, Seb chucked the cushion towards the girl, then turned and faced forward, with the most innocent look he could muster, not looking to see if the cushion hit her.

Saira woke up to something hitting her face, the book that had been covering face smacked into her nose. She took the book covering her face and dropped it along with the pillow that had been thrown on top of it. She opened her eyes to see a guy facing the direction of the fire-less fireplace. She sat up and took the pillow that was on the floor. She watched as he looked like he was going to laugh at any second. Putting two and two together, she assumed that it was him. “It was you!” She said jokingly, chucking the pillow as hard as she could at him, smiling a bit.

Seb couldn't help the twitching of his mouth. He loved doing pranks, but he was never good with the innocent follow up act. Evidently, the girl seemed to agree, and he let out a yell as she threw the pillow back at him. It was a pillow - it wasn't hard - but he definitely wasn't expecting it to be thrown back at him. Seb let out a laugh, glad that the girl was smiling and didn't seem too angry about it. "What! Never! I wouldn't do something like that!" Seb said, continuing to try his innocent look.

Saira laughed, there was no way that it wasn’t him who did it.”Uh huh. Sure” She rolled her eyes playfully. “I’m Saira, by the ways. Normally Saira would never introduce herself that way (nor would she throw something at someone), but her days at hogwarts had an effect on her, making her bolder and more carefree. Whether it was positive or not, she’d have to decide for herself later on.

"Cross my heart!" Seb said, crossing his heart, but fingers at the same time. He supposed the girl could probably see his crossed fingers, but he knew he had blown it by that point anyway, and he was enjoying joking around. He was glad she had laughed though. He stood up and made his way over to her as she introduced herself as Saira. "Hi Saira! I'm Seb! What are you reading? Well - what were you reading?" He asked with a grin.

Saira could well see his crossed fingers but paid it no mind. She bent down to pick up the book that she had dropped and put it on her lap. Um. History of magic.” She said, remembering why she was there in the first place. She was supposed to be researching for her essay. Well, no use dwelling on that anymore. “It’s just really not my thing. Do you like History if Magic?”
