Stacy collapsed on the sofa and stared at a spot on the wall. She had spent three months pretending it wasn't true and now she had to believe it. She was pregnant. She didn't want to believe it before. She was pretending that she wasn't to lower stress but when she got a bump start to show, she couldn't lie to herself any longer. Now she had to tell Kevin. She wanted a big family but recent events weren't exactly making it easy. She sighed and waited for her husband.

Kevin entered the house, covered in grease from his last job. The man grinned when his first sight was his lovely wife sitting on the sofa waiting for him. She was wearing unusually baggy clothes but he just assumed she was having a lazy day. "Hey honey." HE dumped his 'tool box' and sat next to her, cleaning himself with his wand first. "How's your day been?"

Stacy tore her eyes away from the wall and looked at Kevin. He was covered in grease but he looked just as handsome as he always did. She stood up and walked over to him. Once he had finished cleaning himself, she put her arms round his neck and kissed him. "It was good." She shrugged. "Yours??" She needed to think about how she was going to ask the question. It was like asking someone to marry you.

Kevin smiled. "I spent all day under pipes. There was an old lady who decided that my wedding band is a fake and pinched my @r5e before I had to convince her by showing her a picture. She now thinks you're my sister. It was an odd day." He pulled her into a hug."What are you thinking?" He had nothing else to say.

Stacy laughed as she listened to him tell her about his day. She didn't realise she was that easy to read. SHe wasn't exactly trying to hide the fact that she was thinking about things but still... She sighed and looked up at him. "What do you think about having a family?? I mean, more than Teddy." She wanted to know what Kevin thought about family before she told him.

Kevon was slightly stumped by the question, he had never thought about it really and hadn't been expecting it. "Well, I suppose a family would be pretty cool. I never really thought about it. What made you think about this?" He was slightly confused, they hadn't had a chat like that before. Not a proper serious one about the future.

Stacy hesitated for a second and looked away before looking back at him and sighing again. She had to say it. She couldn't hide it. What would she say then?? Oh, I was just wondering. Yeah right. "I'm pregnant." He had said he thought a family would be cool. She hoped that meant he was cool with her being pregnant.

Kevin froze. "Are you serious?" He grinned and lifted her off of the couch. "That's amazing." He kissed his wife slap bang on the lips. "How far? Do we know what sex yet? Oh, so many people to tell, I must owl Teddy about this." He rambled before realising he should probavly put Stacy down.

Stacy laughed at Kevin's reaction. She was relieved that he wasn't upset in any sort of way. "Three months." She hoped he wasn't angry that she hadn't told him her suspicions earlier. "And it's a girl." She smiled when her feet touched the floor. It felt odd being picked up as she hadn't been carried since she was a little girl.

Kevin grinned. "I'm having a baby girl? Me? Me and you?" He laughed and pulled Stacy down onto the sofa with him. "I suppose we should start making plans right? Like choosing names and..." He paused. "Sh...ugar honey ice tea. We're going to have to move. A family can't live here, especially not having our little girl sharing rooms with Teddy. He'd throw a hissy." He shook his head, the boy had changed quite a bit but he was still a good boy at heart.

"I'm sure we can deal with that." She shrugged. "I'm pretty sure Teddy will be fine with it if I buy him sweets." She laughed when she remembered the first time she'd met Teddy. "As for names, I don't know where to start." She shook her head. "I've been thinking all morning and I can't think of anything. All the names I've thought of are horrible."

Kevin laughed, he remembered getting an approval letter from Teddy saying how awesome Stacy was. Now he knew why. "How about something like Katie or Olivia?" They were simple names but he liked them. Of course he wouldn't admit to Stacy he had a whole list of baby names in his head in case he had gotten her pregnant.

"I like Olivia." She grinned. "I prefer Kaitlyn to Katie though." She thought about it for a second. "Olivia Kaitlyn Cameron. How about that??" She never thought it would be that quick deciding what to name her first daughter. She had always imagined herself sat with a baby names book open on the sofa for hours before she found a decent name.

Kevin grinned. "It's a gorgeous name, like you." He laughed as he said the cheesy line and poked Stacy on the nose. Kevin kissed his wife, he would miss the private of no children but he would love to have a little girl. A child that he had full time, unlike Teddy who had to go to his mothers for half the time.

Stacy giggled and wrapped her arms round his back. "Our wedding may have been an accident but I love it. I would never take it back." She was relieved that they hadn't taken back the wedding because she loved Kevin and she wanted to stay with him and their daughter and Teddy.

Kevin grinned and pulled her into a tighter hug. "Same here. I think that judge knew we would end up like this." The judge had looked at him oddly when he had asked for an annulment.

Stacy laughed. "Don't forget the fact that he never actually saw me." Stacy loved being a know-it-all. She wasn't the smartest of people around so when she knew something she was happy to point it out.

Kevin laughed. "Everyone knows judges are all knowing, he didn't need to see you. Las vegas judges are psychic." He ginned and kissed the top of his wifes head. "We're really having a baby." Just because he was almost forty didn't mean he couldn't keep up with his twenty year old wife at all times.
