Larissa sat as far away from anyone else as possible and gulped down her breakfast of buttery toast and pumpkin juice.
She had the Prophet leant up against the milk jug and was reading intently.
"Astonishing," she said out loud and several Slytherins stared along the table at her, "Yet again the Dragon smuggler has made the headline." Larissa rolled her eyes at the paper before accidentally dropping her toast into her pumpkin juice and having to fish it out.
Larissa was bored with 'good' news. She wanted something shocking like; "Ministry of Magic explodes after highly evolved dragons spit on it." Good thing her dad couldn't hear her.
Mr Sedgwick lived for the Ministry.
Larissa opened the paper and saw several small adverts, one of which was about a second hand Bluebottle. Alright, it wasn't a great broom but still.. If Larissa could just convince her parents...
