It was the last detention, but this would not be a normal detention, this one was mostly for her benefit and the nice thing was, if they stuffed this up she could put them all on detention again. Honestly though she would much prefer for that not to happen, she didn't want to have to be reporting a bunch of students to their heads of house, it would not be fun for them, after all, there was at least one student from each of the houses and she was pretty sure the professors would not be in good moods about this one. The only one of the group whom had escaped these detentions was the Nightray girl, she had only just transferred to the school by that point, she had been a first year by all accounts and Abby had just walked into something like that. It had been the worst kind of behavior imaginable. Now though, she had plans to make them not only work together, but have to cooperate with each other effectively. She had taken a leaf out of Kalif's book, she'd heard about his doing this to a couple of students a few years back, before she had started working here even and now she was going to pass it down to the lovelies she had walking behind her. All nine of them.

Stopping at the kitchens, Abbigale pointed to three of the older boys, Conan Edogawa, Liam Nightray and Jeremiah Raven. The latter two had given her some trouble over last year, but the first was yet to ingrain himself in her bad books too effectively, at least she was not able to pick his as a name that annoyed her. She jerked her thumb into the kitchens and then gestured for the others to stay where they were. Following the trio into the Kitchens, Abby gestured around the room. She had asked the House elves not to clean up after themselves today and whilst they had taken some convincing, she had told them that they would be allowed to go back over everything once this hour of detention was over. She smiled, though it was not a very kind smile and looked at each of the boys. "As this is your last detention with me, I have decided that you all get to do a special task for me." She nodded at the numerous pans and the other various things around the room. "You three are going to play house elf for me today and clean up everything in this room. The head house elf has been told he is allowed to instruct you or come to me if you get off task." She then turned serious and frowned. "Do not disappoint me." She left the room then, wondering how the boys would react to her little surprise.

Conan was pissed. He had been in detention for a while now with Professor Hayes and he still didn't know why and how the hell did he get involved in this. It was not like he was there to cause trouble! He was just passing by and was asking Ai on what the hell was happening, and then he got shouted at and everything just went downhill to the professor catching all of them in a massive amount of chaos with a lone, unconscious girl on the floor. Might have not been a good impression. Nevertheless, Conan was nowhere near at fault at what happened. He hadn't complained the previous year, but continuing their detentions in the next school year was ridiculous. Especially since he had gotten stuck with stuck-up Pureblood, Liam Nightray and the d*mn **sh*le named Jeremiah Raven. Conan had not forgotten their last encounter in the library and he was still holding a very obvious grudge for that. After all, how could he not? The Gryffindor had destroyed his hardwork! Twice! And then he had to finish it alone though it was supposed to be a partnered work! He was so going to get his revenge just so this detention would be all worth it. He didn't care what the Slytherin would think. He just wanted to murder Jeremiah even if he did save him in Borely Mansion.

Conan entered the Kitchens, dragging his feet as he looked over to the messy kitchen that they had to clean. This was seriously frustrating, especially when he could see what he had to clean with these two around. He wasn't even sure if either of them could do household chores! They were much too stuck-up and privileged to know their way around the house, and it isn't like Conan's any better with things like these as well. After all, it has always been Ai that's capable of doing the household chores. He wouldn't know what to do with a mop and a pan even if he was given a hint. Well, perhaps he would, but he was quite sure that he would mess up in ways more than one. And so, he couldn't help but think that perhaps Professor Hayes was enjoying the torture too much, because he was sure that they would mess cleaning up big time as there was an obvious tension and hatred reverberating around the room. To whom it's directed he knew not, but the ones coming from him are obviously for Jeremiah.

Liam Nightray hated a lot of people, in fact, he had longed given up on making up a list. He need it not, for no matter how many people he hated, only two people topped that list, Jeremiah Raven, and Ai Edogawa, though the gap between the two seemed to be getting bigger as the time goes by. He was beginning to hate the Gryffindor with every second that they spent together. He could care less about the stupid hufflepuff. He hated her still, but his own dislike for the Gryffindor overpowered that. He hated those two for a long time, yet lately, it seemed like their clueless Muggle Studies professor was determined to top that list too. Last year, she forced him to work on assignment with the damn Gryffindor. She was definitely stupid, for if she wasn't, then she would have noticed that nothing good would come out of pairing them together. But no, she just had to be too ignorant to notice anything. Not only that, she was also the reason why he had lost his house a seventy points deduction. She was horrible, and he was quite sure that she was determined to ruin his life for him. At least, his remaining year at Hogwarts.

He had been in detention for a while now, yet it seemed that that wasn't enough. It wasn't enough that he had been trying to control himself from attacking the Gryffindor verbally every time they were in a detention together, it wasn't enough that he had been trying to bite his tongue all through out those previous detentions because he didn't want to prolong the amount of time that he had to spend together with those idiots especially the Gryffindor. It just wasn't enough. So he decided to stop acting like someone he's not. Forget detentions, forget losing his house points, forget Professor Hayes, he decided he didn't care anymore. He didn't care even if this 'last' detention wouldn't be their last. If their professor wanted to mess with him, then so be it. If it's war that she wanted, then she'd get it. He had enough.

Liam wordlessly followed their professor down to the kitchens. He could care less about the others. There was no sense of camaraderie amongst them, or at least he thought. Despite being in a detention together since last year, he doubted that a sense of loyalty and trust had been developed between them. Who was he kidding? They were here because they all couldn't stand each other. If there was one thing that they could probably agree upon, it was probably how much they despised their professor. He ignored the others, though he didn't fail to glare at the Gryffindor every time he had the chance to.

He entered the kitchens, still busy throwing 'daggers' towards the lion's direction. Even at their professor's presence, he didn't bother to hide his hate. Why bother? She should know by now that there was no chance that they could ever get along. He rather kill Miah than to be friends with him. Just the thought made him feel sick. But Professor Hayes' next words had gotten his attention. She wasn't serious, was she? She couldn't expect him to clean this room! He hadn't even touched a single broom in his life, minus the ones used for flying of course. He frowned. Their professor's smile was seriously getting on his nerves. He wanted to wipe it off her face. But alas, violence against professors wasn't allowed. Nor was violence against the students, but he could care less about the latter, he was going to vent off his anger towards the other occupants of the room, really, just towards the Gryffindor. He didn't care about the nameless hufflepuff. Once Professor Hayes left the room, he pulled a stool and sat down. He was not going to participate in this. Miah and the hufflepuff could clean all they want. He was not going to touch even a single pan.
