The world had turned on it's axis and now the only Dolohov's surviving were the children of his late mistress. He was taking orders from Christian of course and enjoyed the fervour with which the young master relaid each and every command to him but it was not the same. Goia was mourning his mistress still, he grieved for her greatly and was shocked that his loss of her was far greater than that of her grandfather. He had been back at Carrow Hall a while now, as Nastasia, Christian and Vixen stayed with the Drage family. Through lonely empty hallways he had wandered searching for her essence, returning daily to the portrait in the gallery that had been painted the year before but she did not speak to him. Her image stayed motionless as if she were asleep. Goia was puzzled. His master's portrait had only slept for a short while after he had died and then he had finally woken and had been with them more or less again ever since.
A chill caused him to turn around. Nassie and Vixen were due back to the hall today, Christian would be staying on a while longer. Goia scanned the long hallway he stood in but there was nothing there. Muttering wildly to himself he walked on once more furiously wiping a tear drop from his wizened face. As his hand reached for the door he stopped. The temperature had taken a serious nose dive about him and as fearless as the old elf was he shivered now. Turning slowly about his mouth hung open wide in disbelief before he fell to the ground as if paying homage.
