🌹 Rose Giving Customary (Yellow)

The next delivery on his list was for one of the Hufflepuff Prefects so he had seen her around a little bit, and she had a sister in his house as far as he knew, but he didn't know much about her apart from that. He looked around for her quickly before spotting her and grinning. "Hi Hinata! You are Hinata right? This is for you!" He said, handing her a yellow rose with the note attached.

It was quite an overwhelming day for Hinata, though perhaps she should have expected it when she signed up to be part of the deliveries. She couldn't help it though since it seemed interesting, and seemed like a good way to work through her... awkwardness. Not that she was doing too well, or maybe she was doing well. She wasn't entirely sure. She was a little distracted that a young Gryffindor coming up to her had taken her entirely by surprise. "Hi!" she yelped instinctively because energetic hellos when you're an older sister to seven younger kids had an automatic response. Still, she was pretty sure that this kid had more energy than her siblings, or at least more than Jonah used to have. "Oh, thank you," she told the boy with a small bow as she took both the note and the rose, and promptly snorted at what he had written. Maybe she should have signed the one from her, but at least they had the same idea. "What's your name?" she asked the boy curiously. "Might as well check against my list," she explained.​

"I'm Finley! Finley Mackintosh Baros," he told her, though he left out his customary greeting of being able to talk to snakes as he didn' think it was important at this moment in time. "How is your delivery going?" He was glad she seemed to like her rose, even if she snorted. Probably not from a boyfriend then or girlfriend then. But what did he know anyway.​
