Crusading for Snacks

Callie had tried a little with this costume, she had tended to favour costumes which weren't obvious or where you had to maybe think a little about it, but she found the fake sword and then made a costume around it. It was a simple costume really, but she liked it. She knew she could go simply knight, but a crusader felt more right. She walked into the hall, and despite the more serious look of her costume, practically bounced her way over to the snacks, keen to try a few of her favourites before she went to dance. She was planning on having a good amount of fun at this celebration.

Ezra had asked Savannah out, so he figured that maybe he should spend time with her at the Feast. It wasn't really a date kind of event but maybe she wanted to spend some time with him? He pulled his mask off as he looked for her, wandering around the room. When he finally noticed her, his eyes widened. She looked beautiful. Unfortunately, she was chatting with two other girls. Ezra walked on without taking his eyes off her. He only looked up when he walked into someone. "Oh, crap!" He said, stepping back quickly. "Sorry Callie." He didn't actually know her all that well, but was familiar with her name from Quidditch and just being in the same house for quite a few years now.

Callie wasn't really paying attention to where she was going, and it seemed others weren't either. The boy who walked into her was familiar. Ezra or something. "That's okay," she said quickly. "No harm done, you okay?" she asked, trying to figure out a little if something specific had distracted him or if he'd just been not paying attention. Though she wasn't about to ask.

Ezra was glad he hadn’t run into her too roughly, at least he hadn’t knocked her over or anything. He looked her over to make sure she was okay. He smiled nervously. “Thanks, you look nice.”
