Having finished his lessons for the day, and finally finishing off his last bit of homework, Parker Greystone found himself at a rare moment in time for Hogwarts. He had absolutely nothing to do, and still had a few hours until dinner. After a few seconds of pondering, his shoes were hastily pulled onto his feet, and his headphones were plugged into his ipod and were neatly sitting on his head. He spent a minute in front of the mirror gelling and spiking his hair, and then grabbed his skateboard and headed for the door. He was thankful for this brief moment of freedom, as he rarely found time to skate nowadays, having fallen in love with the muggle hobby in his summer before he had started Hogwarts. Making his way down from his dorm room, through the common room and out into the castle corridor. Hastily making his way through the twists and turns of the castle, the Gryffindor first year was making his way for the courtyard. It was one of the few concreted places smooth and flat enough to ride on in Hogwarts, and Parker had spent a few of these rare occasions there before. Finally clearing the front doors to the castle, Parker leaped down the first few steps, and the launched himself off of the stairs, twisting and fiddling mid-air, and landing smoothly on top of his board, skating his way across the courtyard. He had a bit of wabbled manoeuvring to keep his footing, and luckily managed to regain his balance as he zipped his way across the stone floor.
Twisting his body as he went, he steered the skateboard in a fishtailing slide, back and forth as he sped around the courtyard, missing students and obstacles by inches as he pushed himself to faster speeds. Taking a steeply angled right hand turn, he zipped past a few pillars of stone, and around a sharp corner, and at the last moment realised his mistake and crashed straight into a figure in front of him. It all happened so quickly that he boy barely had time to dive off of the board, and as he landed hard on his back, he felt the force of the speed he had been going as he crashed over the stone and rolled for a few metres. "Ouch." he exclaimed in a moan as he laid flat on his back, his head spinning, and his back, elbows and right hip searing in pain. His body would hate him for this.
