well, Lucy and my 1st years can go in their dorm rooms and they havn't entered the passwords but it still says password protected program on the part you click to get in the room. It wont let me enter the password and this has really been bugging me, i was wondering is this just my computer being weird or is this happening to other people, and if theres a way to fix it

This is the first I've heard of anything of this sort.
The way ZB password protected forums work is that the forum itself is password protected, but the subforums are not.
So yes, you can access the girls dorms without entering the girls dorm password.
However, you should be able to input the password in the white box supplied.
What do you mean, exactly, by "It won't let me answer the password" ? Just enter the password like you normally would.

You can see the subforums (including one hidden to most members... : ) and would be able to access them, but it says you need a password below that all. I assume that's what you're experiencing? Just input the correct password there.

i can enter that password, but there is nothing like that for the girls dorm or the Gryffindor common room, I never entered the password but it would let me in, like heres what i see (click) but then i dont have to enter the password and can see everything (click), this is the same for all my 1st year accounts, Hufflepuff and Slytherin =-/

its just been bugging me -_- , if im being really stupid please, just tell me now :errm:

Okay, I think I know what you're talking about so in order for Nick to better understand, I'm gonna try and explain it to him too.

When I'm logged onto Isabella, I can see the most recent post in the Slythern common room while I'm on the index page, like so:

However when I'm on any other student account, the same doesn't happen for me and I see this:

I too never had to enter a password the first time I created another student that wasn't Isabella but was able to enter the appropriate common room.

Yeah it's bugged me a lot before but I don't know if there's anything to fix that so I just learned to live with it.

I do know to get into the girls dormitory you must request to belong to that particular group :huh:

:errm: The error may be coming from the fact that a forum that is not allowed to have posts made in it is a password protected?
With how I've set up permission masks passwords aren't necessary - so they've been removed.
