Archie's arms were stacked precariously with hot chocolate boxes, cute mugs, packets of vegan marshmallows and a can of magical, colour changing non-dairy whipped cream as he walked from the Kitchens into the Great Hall. He had company to assist the task of carrying everything but being a person so fiercely willing to seem self sufficient despite being dependent on his friends and loved ones to a fault, Archie did not accept the help Kylie offered until he arrived at an empty part of the Ravenclaw table and realized he could not put everything down safely. "Um. Kylie. Can you help me put this down?" Archie said in a strained tone as his arms began to grow tired from waiting. He was excited for this little hot chocolate party between his closest friends, to catch up and have fun with sweet, delicious and chocolatey drinks. But he was admittedly too excited and lacked more of a sense of forward thinking than usual as he stood awkwardly in the hall, struggling under the weight of what he was holding as he waited for his Ravenclaw friend to help him unload it onto the table.

Although Kylie had offered to help with more she walked into the Great Hall with nothing more than spoons and a box of cinnamon rolls that she had asked the House Elves to make special for their little get together so they would be vegan just in case they were wanted. A cheat day never hurt anyone’s progress in the grand scheme of things. While she and Archie spoke about their holidays Kylie knew that Pia was likely getting ready, which was perfect because she wanted to fill her Gryffindor friend in on who she’d met during her best friend’s stay. Something she wouldn’t have been comfortable doing in her company but was interrupted by the boy. Although she rolled her brown eyes at him she did help by unloading his pile onto the table after quickly placing her small white and ribboned box down onto the large Ravenclaw table. “Mijo, you’re so stubborn,” she teased with a small wink while she helped set everything up so that it was quite pretty on the table. It wouldn't be long before Orwell and Pia were both here too so she placed the rolls onto a plate with her steady wand work which was normally known to be much more aggressive but food was hardly her competition nor was wonderful hot chocolate which she was eager to consume when everybody came along.

Orwell quickly washed his hands at the lake before he headed back up to the castle, it had been just a great morning in the gardens with Pia and Flavio, but he had realised with a start that they were both supposed to be meeting Archie and Kylie in the great hall in a short amount of time. The teen had been with Pia at the time, but left to meet them without her, knowing she'd only be a few steps behind. Orwell was adjusting easily back into the life at school and he found himself smiling at it, there was nothing better than spending time with his best friend, and there was nothing better than the gardens, everything about this semester so far had been great, sleeping had been a bit of an issue when he'd first arrived back at the school, but everything had settled and he was doing better.

The king of flowers dried his hands on the old worn t-shirt, and ran a hand through the currently green hair, it was always when he came from the gardens that Orwell looked most like he'd had prior to school, most of the time in school Orwell managed to clean up relatively well, but when he was in the garden he wore the old, worn clothes that had been the bottom of the pile from his community, sizes to big and just made to deal with the dirt that he had to interact with. Brock arrived at the great hall, and easily spotted the sight of the blonde hair of his best friend, and spotted Kylie standing with him, Orwell made his way over. The ravenclaw smiled at them both before just going to Archie's side and wrapping his arms easily around the boy resting his head upon the boys shoulder, "Pia's just with Flavio right now, she'll only be a few minutes," he informed the pair without giving either of them a formal greeting just remaining close to Archie, "I've never had hot chocolate," orwell admitted quietly, the eagerness in his tone to be able to try it clear.

When Archie's arms were unloaded he moved to stretch them above his head and smiled. This was surely going to be a fun afternoon for everyone involved, catching up on eachother's lives over rich, chocolatey drinks and delicious looking cinnamon rolls. Archie was about to offer to help Kylie move the cinnamon rolls onto plates though refrained from doing so when he realized the task didn't require help and a pair of familiar arms pulled his body into a hug. He kissed the side of Orwell's head and returned the hug. Humming in acknowledgement of Orwell's words but not caring if Pia was going to be late. Archie was admittedly not as close with Pia as he was with Orwell and Kylie but she was his friend all the same. Orwell just took priority over everyone and Archie sighed as he hugged Orwell closer and whispered a quick 'Missed you' into his ear. They eventually pulled away when Orwell confessed he had never had hot chocolate. The Gryffindor could not comprehend why his best friend was yet to try hot chocolate so he opened his mouth in shock, saying "Well this is a perfect time for you to make one!" before he turned to the table and demonstrated how to make the sweet chocolatey drink to his friend.

Although Kylie should have been able to spot Orwell's green hair from a mile away she hadn't until he'd approached and gave him a big smile, waiting for the two boys to greet one another before they spoke. Normally she would have given the boy two quick kisses on either cheek but she suspected he wasn't much for such a warm greeting so instead she nodded as he told them about Pia's whereabouts. "Ah wonderful," Kylie said in response although she wasn't at all concerned as just the night before she had coerced Pia into cuddling with her. They could probably stand to spend a few hours apart, maybe that way people would stop asking if they were dating because that was annoying to them both just as she would assume it bugged both Archie and Orwell when people assumed they were together. No, as far as she knew they were all happy being great friends without any intention of dating one another despite her early suspicions when she'd first met Orwell. "Really? It's not hard," she said, baffled at the thought of never having made such a simple thing but then again she knew enough about the Ravenclaw to know he was hardly a typical boy. Kylie knew her younger cousin went mad for the drink just as she had when she was his age and at present she was just as eager for it as she had been when she was a kid.

Orwell always felt better when he was close to Archie, when he could be right next to him, and enjoy the sweet boys company, the Ravenclaw teen was always so glad that he had met the Gryffindor and as they stood at the table he gladly held the other boy close returning the whispered missed you before he admission that he had never had hot chocolate before, Archie's reaction to it was a given but he was a little puzzled by Kylie, he didn't really understand her, she didn't seem to like Orwell very much or that was what he was getting from her, and Orwell was trying his best to make her see that he was fine, that he was a good person with whom she could be a friend but instead just shrugged at her statement, "I'm vegan, for the most part, and my community didn't have almond or soya milk, or this weird powder chocolate thing," he added picking up the odd thing and turning it over in his hands, he had never had hot chocolate because it was not naturally occurring like tea or coffee, so he would never have even thought to try it until now when he knew that Archie would cater to his somewhat specific needs. Perhaps it wasn't that this girl didn't like him but more that he was a peculiar person, a little different than most so that meant people would have more questions for him, ones that had to do with a normal life which Orwell had not had, after all, he was pretty sure that Archie's kindness in the very beginning had perhaps stemmed from the belief that Orwell was a homeless kid, "So how do we make hot chocolate?"

Archie was too busy gathering everything he needed to make hot chocolate on the table in front of him to listen to Kylie and Orwell's interaction. He simply gathered what he needed before turning to Orwell as the box of hot chocolate - the most important ingredient - was picked up from the table. "I need that." Archie said as he stole the box back and grabbed a teaspoon. "Now, Brock. Hot chocolate is different for everyone so I'll make you what I usually make for myself, okay?" His hands moved to pick up the closest mug which he held towards Orwell. "First you need a mug. Preferably a big one." He returned the mug to the table before using the teaspoon in his other hand to dig into the box of hot chocolate power, picking up five heaped teaspoons consecutively and placing them in the cup. "After you've put in the chocolate power, you gotta add the hot water and milk. Don't worry this jug has soy milk, I think. Trust me anyway though." The jug poured the right amount of hot water and then the right amount of milk. For Archie the right amount was one third hot water to two thirds milk as it was creamy and hot enough for his taste buds. He nearly felt himself drool at the thought of making a cup of hot chocolate for himself soon. "Then it's the decoration. We have rainbow cream and chocolate to grate on top of the cream." He said as he added both toppings before giving the finished mug of hot chocolate to his best friend. "Try it!" He exclaimed as he waited for Orwell to give his verdict.
