Standing at the ocean's edge, Faxen's caramel eyes looked out to the sea as the warm rays of the sun beat down on her. Paradise stretched out all around her, everywhere that she could see. A few days ago, Enzo had surprised her with a vacation to South America. He had taken the off of work to spend with her which she knew could not have been that easy. She wondered briefly if he had a deeper motivation than what she realized. Enzo had been a really good friend to her through the aftermath of the break-up. Faxen had tried moving on. For a while, she had dated Jeremy casually. They went out several times as they helped each other heal. However, it was soon clear to them both that they were better off as friends which was how it remained. It had been eight months since Faxen had seen her ex, Dymetris. Overall, the brunette felt as if she was over her former love. She didn't think about him nearly as much, and the thought of him did not bring tears to her eyes. In fact, Faxen thought that she was doing well. Really, the only time she thought about Dymetris was when she was alone on particularly dark nights. That was when she started missing him and what they had once had. Faxen was afraid that she would never have that feeling again. That feeling of longing, excitement, nerves, and anticipation that created butterflies in her stomach. That was what terrified the beautiful young girl the most. The idea that she might be alone for the rest of her days because she had turned down her soulmate. Though, she thought that she was doing well hiding any evidence that she still had feelings for him.

Faxen Lowart her slender body fit perfectly in a tiny bikini that was suitable for the setting around her. The brunette girl waded into the salty water, letting it hit her right around her calves. She had been enjoying herself the past few days. Enzo and Faxen were sharing a two bedroom suite, so they each had their own room which was a positive because she knew that it would only be a matter of time before Enzo picked up some girl. He had already been flirting with women on the beach. While she knew that she was no innocent, it still annoyed her that he would waste his time with those girls. They weren't right for him, at least in Faxen's opinion. He deserved someone wonderful and perfect. Faxen sincerely hoped that he would find that person. Even if she would never be completely happy again, Enzo deserved to find his soulmate.

However, it was pretty plain to see that that girl was not his soulmate. Faxen rolled her eyes at the ridiculous blonde girl. The best description she could give was common, but pretty. Faxen had never been the type to like sharing her time with Enzo's flirtations. He was several years older than she was, and she had been just a kid when they met. She had gotten used to the girls flirting with him in front of her. Only now, Faxen was gorgeous in her own right with her dark locks, caramel eyes, and olive skin. Enzo was the one having to get used to guys hitting on his friend. Faxen grew tired of waiting on Enzo. She sighed and waded out of the water. In her younger days, Faxen had found it fun to chase away the girls. Her mature side didn't allow her to do that right now. Instead, she headed for her lounge chair a few feet away. She looked out at the water, not realizing a slight frown appeared on her lips.

"For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil." Enzo murmured into a strangers ear, the lady left flustered for no reason at all. Flirting, once again he was flirting with some random girl, blondes, brunettes, gingers, he didn't mind. For today would be his chance to roam around and find some girl to hook-up with, well at least two or three girls will do. But before he can even manage to do so, Enzo needed to return back to Faxen. After all she's the main reason why they're here in the Bahamas. Ah! What joy! Just a few days ago, Enzo decided to take a leave from work and invite his good friend to The Bahamas to have some time off from stress, work and everything that hinders their happiness. They're here to have fun and just enjoy, though the main reason is for Faxen to get over his former sweetheart, Dymetris. Gladly, his uncle offered resort for them to stay in. He need not to tell Faxen that small detail that everything is for free. Of course, it's his treat to her after all. With his chest bare, wearing only his swimming shorts. Enzo made his way through the beach and left the other girls drooling for more of him. He knew that this vacation should be spent with Faxen alone, or at least it should be. A sly smile spread across his lips and quickly he looked for where about Faxen may be.

Until, he noticed a lovely brunette and saw her sitting down, frowning. Shaking his head, Enzo approached her and stood nearby, gazing at the her. She looked gorgeous as always, and from the looks of it would be Enzo's first time to see her wearing a bikini, it would be such a waste if someone would see her so defenseless like this. "Why the long face?" he muttered and without even waiting for an answer, Enzo reached for Faxen and carried her into his muscular arms. "We're here to enjoy, remember?" he reminded him, as he brought him to the water, girls of all ages were now looking at them. He looked down at Faxen as he carried her across the beach, in hopes to get her splashed in the water. While carrying her, he couldn't help but stare deeply into her brown eyes, such a lovely sight to see. Enzo wanted to make her happy for the rest of her life, a happy Faxen would mean the world to him. Then slowly he brought her down away from his arms and gently placed her off the sea shore. Instantly, he splashed the water straight into Faxen's upper body. "There's more where that came from." he teased her and continued to splash water all over Faxen's petite body. As the other girls grew envy of the two, snickering their way to the shore.

"Come on Faxen! We're here to have fun, smile a little would you?" stopping his arms from splashing his friend. "You should be glad though, I should be busy playing with them, if you know what I mean." Enzo said laughing, while signaling his head to the other girls who're crossing there arms at him. The girls who had been flirting with for the past hour and a half, he didn't mind really knowing that they'll be coming for more later on. Waiting for Faxen's reaction, Enzo flipped his head back, followed by fixing his long locks. It seems that he'll be needing a hair cut sooner or later, gazing at Faxen once more. Enzo couldn't remove his smile away from his face, hoping that the brunette would smile just like the way he's doing now. "So Faxen, is there anything you want to do now? We can do anything you know, swim, sun bath, massage? You have my time." he winked at her and teased her once more. From afar you can see the beautiful white sand beach and the different tourist having fun, more of them we're ladies actually. As a matter of fact, Enzo can ditch his friend right now and go girl hopping but instead he decided to give all his to the lovely Faxen Lowart.

It wasn't long before Enzo noticed the frown on Faxen's face. He ditched the common girl and came over to where she was, asking about her expression. Rather than admit her thoughts, Faxen's face slipped into a pout. It was an expression that he had seen her wear many times. "You know how I feel about sharing you. I think it's my turn now." she told him. Faxen had always found the excessive attention that girls gave him annoying. "Besides she wasn't even pretty. If you are going to make me share you, pick someone better than that." she said scathingly. Unexpectedly, Enzo's arms scooped underneath her and lifted her into the air. The slender brunette knew there was no use protesting as he carried her down to the water. "C'mon, Enzo! I can walk!" she said, knowing that he would ignore her. He placed her gently on the ground when they got to the water. Faxen flinched as the water hitting her chest caught her off guard. "Hey!" she exclaimed, not really upset at all. In fact, she was smiling once more, now that she had his attention. "You are going to regret this, mister!" she told him with a laugh as he continued to splash her. Faxen knew that people were staring at them, but she didn't care. Faxen splashed Enzo back, enjoying herself.

Faxen rolled her eyes at the comment about what Enzo should be playing with. "Lucky, lucky me." she said, sticking her tongue out at him in a playful manner. Her negative thoughts had vanished from her mind once more. However, she did briefly wonder why Enzo had never really tried anything with her. Of course, he had kissed her on a few occasions, but the timing had never been right. Besides, they could so easily ruin their friendship that way. Faxen had never seen Enzo stick to one girl for too long. She didn't ever want to end up as just another notch in his bedpost. They were much better as friends. Still, the brunette would be lying if she said that he wasn't attractive. The girl pursed her lips at his question about how they should spend the day. "Well, a massage does sound very tempting..." she said with a seductive edge to her voice. She didn't really think that suggestion had been a serious one. "I guess I can do with a swim though." she said, grinning mischievously. She leapt at Enzo, intentionally knocking him back into the water as she toppled down on top of him. Faxen was laughing as she came back up for air.

Enzo wanted their vacation to be perfect and at the end of their stay, hopefully Faxen's happiness would regain back to normal. The look on Faxen's face when he splashed her some water, was priceless. It felt like slowly she's returning back to the old her, as they continued to play Enzo didn't mind the stares they were getting it seems like they were back tot heir old childhood days. Before, Enzo's whole family would go to the beach, his mom would just watch them from afar splashing and fooling around. With Ashe younger, everything seems to be easy, carefree. While their father would tag along and swim with them, followed by their mother's homemade lunch after the swim. Everything seems so peaceful before, but now that he had encountered his little sister, which ended in a feud, everything changed. It's been almost a month now since she last saw her, and this year being her last year at Durmstrang. Who knows what she'll do after graduation. It'll be hard for him to see her change, although she seems to be the brutal child he grew up with, seeing Ashe all grown up is different for him. The thought lingered in his mind, if his sister will join the Scitocari.

Returning his head to what was going on, Enzo couldn't help but smile hearing Faxen. "You're lucky indeed." he teased her once more. By now he could get any girl he wants to, flirt with any single ladies out there but no. This week is solely for Faxen, he made sure to make an effort to stay away from gorgeous looking girls, hence why he was chatting with plain looking girls. Since it's easier to forget, and less the drama with the other guys flirting like him. "How about let's just swim first then after that we'll take a massage? Or do you want a massage from me?" he offered, there was nothing malicious about that since Enzo does know how to make women happy and much more with massaging. As Faxen leaped into him and knocked him, Enzo laughed out loud. There was something about her that made him so happy, but there could never be a chance for her to actually like him. Seeing, what she thinks about him, a playboy auror who only flirts with girls and can't take them seriously or be in a relationship. Lately, he's been trying to go on dates, looking for some potential girl friend, in hopes to find someone to have a serious relationship with.

It hasn't been easy, since most of them were too clingy and needy, which Enzo hated the most. He wanted someone who's independent and who can stand on her on feet without him. Assertive yet passionate with her career, it would take months before he could settle for a serious girl. Though he's prepared and made sure to stick to one girl, he couldn't help but wonder if there could be a chance for Faxen and him to be more than friends. Once again he shook his head in disagreement with his thoughts and focused his attention towards Faxen. "Tell me what you want to do. All of it." Enzo said to her in all honesty, you could hear his words being straight forward and serious. He wanted to know what she wants to do, wants to eat, hear, see, everything.

The brunette girl was feeling much more like herself than she had in weeks. Not that she had been wallowing in misery or anything. She had been quite busy with her new shop and also with the different shows that she had been playing. The young woman had met a manager a while back that had signed her. They had been working on a demo to get on the radio, but in the mean time Faxen had been playing her music at local clubs and bars. This vacation might not have come at the best time, but Faxen had quickly rearranged her schedule in order to be with Lawrence Andrew Cavell. She had not wanted to miss the opportunity to spend a week with him. She rarely, if ever, grew tired of his company. Enzo's response drew a smile on her lips. Faxen wondered briefly if she heard that right. He was offering to give her a massage personally. That was certainly interesting and different. She heard the sincerity in her friend's voice when he asked her to tell him what she wanted to do. Anything at all was apparently open to her which was probably a bad decision on Enzo's part. Faxen could be creative with her decision.

The slender girl had a mischievous look in her eyes as she considered what her response might be. She often liked to do things that shocked him, or that were unexpected in general. She had prized herself on this trait in the earlier days of their friendship. Before things had gotten complicated. Before Dymetris. Faxen remembered the first time that they had kissed had been during the conversation which she had told him that she was dating Dymetris. So much had changed, and yet some things would forever be constant like Faxen and Enzo. She found herself wondering once more just what it would be like to kiss those lips. The lips of someone who knew all of her flaws, all of her secrets, all of her doubts.

The brunette girl moved closer to Enzo as she considered her options. "I think that I would like that massage." she told him with a sly smile. "Let's save the swimming for later. We can go skinny dipping in the moonlight." she told him with a laugh. She wasn't quite sure that he would go for that idea or not. It was a perfectly reckless and wonderful idea in her personal opinion. Faxen saw movement at the corner of her eye and glanced at a girl who had been particularly annoying to her last night because she would not leave Enzo alone. The girl was glaring at her. Faxen rolled her eyes and made up her mind. She knew exactly what she wanted, and she intended to have it. Her caramel eyes met those beautiful green ones, and she didn't think twice about what she was about to do. Faxen wrapped her arms around Enzo's neck and stretched up on her tip toes while pulling him down so that her lips met with his. Faxen didn't let go for a few moments, still kissing him. When she did move away, it was only slightly. She didn't remove her arms from around his neck. The kiss was unlike the others before it. She was not holding back. The brunette felt the familiar butterflies in her stomach that she thought would be absent from her life after Dymetris. Faxen smirked playfully at Enzo, wondering what he thought of her actions. No doubt he would soon let her know. "So, what would you like to do?" Faxen asked him with a smile on her lovely face.

This day being their first, seems to be surprising rather than depressing as he expected. He didn't expect that Faxen would agree with the things he's been saying or maybe just because she's single, Faxen can play the same game along with him. Smirking, Enzo nodded his head and place his hand on Faxen's head, patting it. "You're full of surprises, Faxen Lowart. he stated, while laughing at this fact. The two remained stable with their position as some tourists like them passed by and looked at the two, some would think they're a couple by the looks of it. The two didn't looked like siblings, nor cousins, so what should they expect? As he faced Faxen once more, the shock on Enzo's face couldn't be painted by anyone. Skinny Dipping!?" Did he heard it right? Or he's just imagining things again? He swallowed hard by just hearing Faxen's suggestion. He wasn't prepared at all. Then again, why would he say no? Hell yes! A playful smile spread across his face and slowly he looked down at the clear water, splashing them two. "If you wish it." his tone calm and wholesome. Nothing malicious about would happen, he thought or rather hope. After all they're friends and he had done skinny dipping a lot of time already, women of every nationalities.

Then it happened. Out of the blue, Faxen Lowart kissing him. What are the chances that a girl that he adored for years would kiss her unexpectedly? Enzo on the other hand couldn't contain himself and just went along with the kiss. Enjoying every minute of it, every minute their lips touched each other. Now, everything seems to make sense. Skinny dipping followed by their kiss, this time it's Faxen who initiated their kiss. He didn't complain nor tried to stopped him, he was single, she was single. Though he felt a little pain in his chest at some point, knowing that he could be the rebound guy, that Faxen is only doing this to get her head away from Dymetris. Which really pisses Enzo, sure he likes being used by some girls but not with Faxen. He treasured her, loved her, and cared for her more than anyone he could care for. The last thing he needs to be is a friend who'll make-out with him just for the sake of being okay, especially when he's starting to develop feeling for her. He looked at Faxen once more, removed her hands away from his neck and walked a few steps away from the water, going to the white sand, few steps away from them. "Shall we? he reached out for his arm and waited for Faxen to come with him.

The expression on his face, straight and unsure. He didn't know if he should be happy about what just happened. Enzo isn't sure if she took his suggestion seriously, with him massaging her. So instead of over thinking he asked her, "So, what massage do you like? And who'll massage you?" he asked her, trying to flash a sincere smile. It would be his honor to massage her, and for once there's no need to massage him in return. Still, everything seems to be awkward, uncomfortable. Just like how things turned to be when he kissed him before, only this time Faxen's single. As they walked away together, Enzo couldn't help but wonder why she kissed him. Suddenly, he stopped in the middle of the place and faced Faxen, holding both of her shoulder and looked her straight in those lovely brown eyes of hers. "I need to know. Why. Why did you kissed me all of a sudden? he confessed. Enzo's expression were calm, collected, yet concerned. Both of his eyebrows meeting each other as she looked at him. He wants an answer and he'll get it what ever it takes, even though it's their first day, Enzo wanted to know what was happening inside Faxen's mind.

Faxen didn't really like the fact that Enzo patted her head as if she were a younger sibling. Though, it was obvious that she was nothing like his sister. "Just wait. I have more surprises in store for you." she teased him lightly. Enzo was laughing, and Faxen enjoyed seeing him laugh and smile. It was genuine and real. However, Faxen suspected that his nonchalant attitude about her suggestion for later in the evening was not genuine. He might not have feelings for her in that manner, but the brunette was still an extremely attractive girl. Still, she laughed with him and nodded her head. "Yes, I think so. I guess we can decide later." she said with a shrug. They had time to do everything they wished to do this week. She could find other guys to amuse her while here, but she much preferred to spend time with Enzo. In fact, Faxen would be happy to spend all of her time with him this week.

However, the brunette wasn't sure that Enzo would want to spend his time with her. After the kiss, which Faxen had enjoyed, Enzo didn't say anything to her, but he removed her arms from around his neck. She thought that he had enjoyed the kiss just as much as she did. Apparently, Faxen was wrong. He began to walk away, and she got that sick feeling in her stomach like something bad was going to happen. It was quite possible that she had ruined everything good in her life for the second time in a year. That had to be some kind of record. What was wrong with her? Why couldn't she accept happiness in her life? At the edge of the water, Enzo stopped and turned back to her, asking her to come along with him. Faxen wasn't sure what was going through his mind, but she would go with him to find out. Faxen's caramel eyes looked at him with curiosity, and she nodded her head. "Sure." she said, taking his arm that he offered to her. Slightly confused, Faxen walked with him towards their rooms. He asked her a question that she almost missed because she was trying to decipher his thoughts. "Oh um. Whatever you think is best sounds good to me." she said, leaving the decision up to him. The smile that she loved to see on his face did not have the same sincerity that it had earlier in the day.

It seemed like things had grown tense and awkward ever since she surprised him with that kiss. It seemed that the kiss was not well received. Maybe Faxen was wrong. Maybe Enzo had a girlfriend and he just hadn't found a good time to tell her. Or maybe he found her unattractive or she was just too much like a sister to him. Whatever the reason was, Faxen already regretted her brash, bold move. Why did she act without thinking? It was a reoccurring habit that she should have learned from by now. About halfway there, Enzo stopped her in the middle of walkway and turned to face her. His hands had her by her shoulders. He was calm as his green eyes looked directly into hers and demanded an answer to his question. He wanted to know why she kissed him. Why had she kissed him? That was a good question that Faxen was not prepared to answer. She didn't have just one answer. In the back of her mind, Faxen knew the truth was that she had begun to develop feelings for him and his flirtations with the other girls had made her jealous. She wanted Enzo to be thinking about her and her only. Faxen had also wanted to know what it would be like to really kiss him without having to worry about betraying a boyfriend. Still, she wasn't sure that she wanted to admit this to Enzo. The easy way out would be to shrug it off and tell him it was an impulsive behavior, but that wouldn't be very honest of her.

Faxen sighed, knowing this wasn't going to be easy on her. She had never lied to him before, and now wouldn't be a good time to start. The pretty girl sighed. "I wanted to know what it would be like to really kiss you. Last time, there were...complications." she said, knowing he would know what she meant. "And...well..I maybe be a bit jealous." Faxen admitted a bit guiltily to Enzo. She did not tell him why she was jealous, but he might guess at her deeper feelings. She hoped that he wouldn't ask her about it. It mortified her to think that he would not return the feelings that she had for him. Faxen didn't want to be cause of any strain in their relationship. The brunette looked up into the face of her best friend who had done so much for her in the last few months. He had helped her move on past her tragedy to realize that she had more in her life than Dymetris.

Enzo didn't expect all of this to happen, not even once. Sure, days before this he had been daydreaming if Faxen would ever like him back but not like this, not when she's moving on over some guy he haven't met but heard off. Feeling frustrated, Enzo stared down at Faxen hoping for a reasonable answer. Any girl could kiss him right now, but for someone who's special like her it needed an answer. It didn't took long before she answered him, it would depend on her answer what happens that very day. "Jealous? Why would you be jealous? You know my game." he replied utterly confused. He decided to skip the part where Faxen just wanted to kiss him, it made sense after all but Faxen being jealous didn't. Since Enzo had been with different girls for the past years, blonde to brunettes and Faxen knew all this things. She didn't complain before, or was it because she hated the attention he's been getting. It didn't made sense to Enzo, he knew there was something more behind her words. "We're not going anywhere until you tell me why." he stated firmly, yet his hands slowly moved away from Faxen's shoulders. Now, everyone's looking at the two. He didn't mind, he was used to attention, getting noticed. He shrugged his shoulders and his expressions changed, frustration covered his mild gentle features. Enzo predicted that Faxen would take her time before answering him, "Come on, let's have a drink for a while."" he responded and turned his back at Faxen, though he pulled her hands and entwined it to his.

The two held hands as they sat down, Enzo didn't want to order anything alcoholic during his stay here with Faxen. Since it would mean that he'll be roaming at night to hook-up with girls or just make-out with depressed singles out there. "Just a bottle of cold water." he ordered and once the waitress came with his order, he smiled and drank the entire bottle filled with cold water. Just as expected the waitress winked at her, hoping to get laid or something, Enzo in returned did nothing. As it would make the situation any worse, he smiled once more at the waitress, "Maybe next time." he said and returned back to Faxen. Enzo took his hand away from Faxen and waited for her reply, this was his way to know the truth. Being their first day, Enzo hoped for things to go well and now, here he is asking why his best friend kissed him. Not all men would do such thing, some would just go with it or enjoy the kiss but Enzo knew there's two reason behind her kiss and he needed to know which one is the reason for it. Either Faxen likes him back or she wanted a distraction from Dymetris, a rebound guy from her move on. Enzo did not want that, he was here to make her happy as friend and hoping to keep their friendship glued on the wall, not breaking any boundary, yet here she is slowly tearing it up. "So, it's either you tell me the truth or I would hook-up with that nice brunette waitress there who's dying to have me since this morning. Your call." he said to her with a hint of sarcasm. The auror knew that it would irritate the hell out of her, thus making her speak of the real reason why she kissed him.

Faxen bit her lip nervously as a confused look washed over Enzo's face. It seemed to baffle him that she would be jealous. Of course, she knew all about his game. The brunette was well versed on all of his exploits as they did not keep many secrets between them. Faxen had never been jealous of the affection he had shown other girls. She knew they didn't mean anything to him. He knew that it annoyed her to share her time with him with other girls. Still, could he not guess at the reason why it made her jealous now? The brunette girl simply shook her head at him, not wanting to talk about this at all. Yet, Enzo was insisting that he must know. He had released her shoulders now, but they were still standing in the middle of the walkway with people walking all around them, staring at them. Faxen really didn't want to talk about this here. All of these people watching her made her feel uncomfortable which was ironic since she wanted to be a singer. It relieved her when Enzo suggested that they go get a drink. "Okay." she agreed easily. The brunette thought that she could use some liquid encouragement to get her through the conversation that he was going to make her have with him. It was lucky that Faxen was not carrying her wand with her, or she would have been tempted to apparate away. Her biggest fear was that Enzo would leave her alone. That was a loss that she could not bear. Faxen thought that she would lose her mind completely if Enzo vanished from her life too.

Before Faxen knew what he was doing, Enzo had entwined his fingers with hers and was leading her towards a cafe. The touch was not unwelcome, or unfamiliar. In fact, it helped to make her slightly less anxious. Their hands fit together. The slender girl felt slightly awkward about having this conversation with him while she was only half dressed though she had nothing to hide. She knew that she was beautiful, and was no stranger to male attention. She had been quite the talk of the school for her ''whoring'' ways even though she didn't really deserve that reputation until this past year. She had gone through a dark few months which Enzo was aware of. He had often showed up where she was to check on her and keep her out of any serious trouble. In many ways, Enzo had saved her from total self-destruction.

The pair was still holding hands when the waitress came over to get their order. Enzo ordered only a water, but Faxen wanted something stronger if she was about to do what she thought she was. "A vodka martini, please." she said politely despite the way she was eyeing Enzo. It was only a moment before she returned with the order. The brunette let go of Enzo's hand in order to take a sip of her drink which was rather strong. As the waitress winked at him, Faxen questioned her decision. Should she tell him the truth? What would happen if she did? He might not care for her in that way, and it could ruin their friendship beyond repair. However, Enzo just might return her feelings though that seemed unlikely. If he did, could she deal with the attention that he received? Could she trust him to be faithful to her? There was potential either way for this one conversation to destroy their relationship as friends. Faxen pursed her lips and rolled her eyes in annoyance at Enzo's words which did nothing to soothe her worries. "Really? If you want her, fine. Go get her." she told him with sarcasm. When Enzo didn't move from the table, she took a deep breath. He was waiting for her answer. The brunette took another large gulp of her drink. Once again, she considered lying, and she would have if it would have worked. Enzo always knew when she lied. Faxen sighed. "There's no easy way to say this." she said nervously. She bit her lip once more. "I think....I think that I..have feelings for you. Feelings that are more than friendship. I like you, and I know that you don't return those feelings but...please don't let this ruin our friendship. I won't kiss you again. Swear." she promised him, pleading with her caramel eyes. Faxen couldn't let him walk out on her.

The half of his heart wanted to believe that Faxen, that everything she said is true. Though he knew that he'll hate himself to ruin every bit of their friendship, Enzo wanted her to know his feelings to. Eagerly waiting, the auror let his eyes wander off for a moment. Looking at the other people that surrounds them, no one was looking at them except maybe the waitresses who's been eyeing him. He could do that, leave Faxen flirt with other girls and have a blast. Instead he's here in this situation where he would rather love any other girl right now, just not Faxen Lowart. Their friendship means a lot to him and it would be such a waste to destroy it, then again he didn't understand her dilemma. They could still be friends; friends who loves each other, shows affection and with a whole lot of intimacy. Though it was obvious that Faxen isn't ready for these things, although Enzo can devote his time, a one way relationship would never work. With grief and disappointment, Enzo decided to follow both his heart and mind. Before he could leave his feelings for her, he needed to tell it to her, to admit that somewhere in him, he likes her back. At first he felt uneasy, it's not that easy to admit his feelings to anyone, especially to her. It needed some time but since this should take place now, Enzo decided to just go with the flow. Enzo didn't know how to reply to her statement, it took a while before he moved.

Slowly, he stroked her face. Tracing her marvelous cheekbones and continued to cup her cheeks, how he adored her, yet he could never have her until she wishes it. "Faxen, I've always loved you and you know that, up to now I do. I like you more that words could ever explain, but with the things you just said...It's clear that you don't want to be with me and chose to be just my friend. I like you more that you could ever know, but if that's what in your heart and you don't want to ruin our friendship or risk this, then it shall be. My feelings will never change. he said whole heartedly. It took him all the courage in his system to say that, but since it cause him deep sadness to be with Faxen at this very moment with this confrontation. Enzo decided he needed time to be by himself, or just away from Faxen. Just for this few hours he wanted to drink, flirt with different girls and forget. "We're schedules to ride on a boat tomorrow and go island hopping by the way. I'll just be over the there to catch some waves. he pointed out and smiled. He didn't want to embarrass himself anymore, Enzo is hurting. I'll catch you later, Faxen." he assured and went on. Before turning his back, Enzo got Faxen's alcoholic drink and drank it straight up. "I think I need this more than you." he teased and ventured on to find some blondes, brunettes, gingers to hit on.

Faxen was anxious for his reaction to her sudden outburst of affection. She was certain that this was not the way that either of them had envisioned their day turning out. As Enzo caressed her face gently, affectionately, Faxen smiled softly and briefly wondered if this would turn out as it might in a movie with a happy ending. Yet, in her heart she knew that Enzo was not the type to settle down with one girl. It would be foolish and arrogant of her to think that she would be the one to change all of that. She didn't think that she could be an exception to the rule. Faxen held her breath as she listened to his response. He told her he loved her. He liked her more than words could explain. Could that actually be true? Or did he mean in as a friend? Did Enzo in return have feelings for Faxen? Enzo's next words caused a frown to appear on her flawless face. Where in her speech did she give him the impression that she didn't want to be with him? In fact, it was quite the opposite in Faxen's eyes. She only wished not to ruin their friendship because she thought that Enzo did not like her in the same way. It was different now that the brunette realized that Enzo did share her feelings.

The frown deepened on her lovely face as Enzo told her of the plans for tomorrow and made his excuses to leave Faxen alone at this table. She didn't understand why he felt the need to go. He finished what was left in her glass before walking away. Panic hit her as she had the feeling that if he walked away now, he would walk out of her life forever. That was just something she could not allow. Anger flushed Faxen's face as her temper rose. He confessed all of that to her and walked away without so much as allowing her to reply. Half of Faxen, her spiteful side, wanted to get up, go get drunk, and hook up with some guy. That was exactly what she had done on her darkest, weakest days after Dymetris. However, Faxen was stronger now. She wasn't going to drown her problems with alcohol. The brunette got up from her booth and quickly followed Enzo. When the slender girl caught up with him, she grabbed his arm, trying to get his attention. "Where the hell do you think you are going?" she asked him in a low, angry voice. The brunette didn't want to cause a scene, but they had to talk. "You weren't going to give me a chance to reply? Why do you think that I don't want you? I just told you that I have feelings for you, and you walk out on me?" Faxen hissed. "In case I wasn't obvious enough, I want you. I want you. Why is that so hard to understand?" she asked, putting her hands on her bare hips, again wishing she had on more than a bikini. "If you still would rather have someone else, fine. Just don't give me this sh1t saying you love me, but it's me that doesn't want you. I thought you had more respect for me than that. Just admit that you don't want to be with me. I can take it." she told him, anger fading out of her quiet voice. All Faxen wanted was the truth.

Enzo was restless.

The gent didn't know what to do anymore, he never understood why girls didn't like to have a relationship with their male best friend, as if it would ruin their relationship when it would actually improve it. He didn't need this when he can make out with girls around the resort, hook up and have fun. Enzo grew angry of Faxen at some point for saying yes but pushing him away, and yet here he is trying to fight back without anyone fighting back for him. It was obvious that he wanted her more than he wanted him, but if Faxen isn't sure of it then there's nothing to do but perhaps sulk in his head. As he was about to leave, he felt someone grabbed his arm. He turned his body and saw Faxen, looking somewhat flustered at the same time furious. She kept of saying words, lots and lots of it, confessing her true feelings. It was out of hand, Enzo didn't want to interrupt her. She knew what she was doing and she has all the right to scream at him. On the other hand, it seems so sad that today is their first day for a vacation and here they are sharing their feelings for each other, rather confessing barely clothed. He looked at her, Enzo wanted to just hold her and fix things but it isn't enough.

Letting her speak her mind, the auror simply stared at her with a straight face as almost every tourist were staring at Faxen, confused and puzzled. He continued to listen and stand there, taking every word she was saying and when finally she was done expressing herself. Enzo did the most impulsive thing, he reached for Faxen's waist and pulled her close to his chest. He didn't waste time and kissed her, Enzo Cavell kissed her like there's no tomorrow. Kissing her, his lips to her lips. It was a long kiss, longer than any other kiss they had. Long, that the air that kept them breathing started to disappear from their closeness. Enzo didn't want to let go and when the two couldn't catch their breath anymore, he pulled away. "I want you more than anything else in the world, Faxen." he stated out loud for everyone to hear, even the ladies who were surrounding him hours ago where devastated with his words. He was going to say I love you next but decided now is not the right time to, it will only break his heart to hear rejection from her.

Enzo knew that with his words blurted aloud, he could never take it back and he would never dare. He loves Faxen more than anyone right now but saying such words would risk everything, not their friendship but their relationship and the fact that he isn't sure if he's in the stage of loving someone that much. He's the type of guy to never admit his feelings or even say I love you to anyone, unless if it's true and with his countless flirting, Enzo had never fallen in love with somebody. He stood there, waiting to be slapped or waiting for Faxen to blow but he couldn't stop himself, he didn't want that to be their last kiss and so Enzo once again for the second time, reached for Faxen and kissed her. This time slowly, more passionately, breathing the air she breathes, enjoying every moment his lips touched hers.

Faxen waited, hands on her hips, for Enzo to respond to her accusations. He had a sort of stunned look on his face as she was berating him. The brunette was not paying attention to the other people that she seemed to be bothering. Her caramel eyes were fixed on Enzo, waiting for him to say something, do something. It was only a second that she spent waiting before his strong arms went around her tiny waist, pulling her into him. Her skin tingled where he touched her; it had been almost a year since she had anything remotely close to these feelings. Before Faxen knew it, Enzo's lips pressed down against hers with a sense of urgency and desire. Not over thinking it, Faxen kissed him back, her arms wrapping up and around his neck. This kiss was better than before when he hadn't been expecting it. She couldn't detect any unwillingness or uncertainty. Her heart thudded loudly in her chest as she got the feeling that she was soaring above the ground.

Faxen began feeling rather faint and had to remind herself to take a breath despite the fact that she would be happy to spend the next seven days kissing him. She knew that he had practiced his skills on many, many different women, and it was not wasted time. Never had she been kissed like this. Not to say that Dymetris' kisses hadn't given her the same feelings because they had. Enzo's kiss was just different in a way that she couldn't yet put her finger on. The kiss erased all of the thoughts from her head. Faxen had an almost dazed look on her face when they broke apart. She didn't know what she had been expecting, but it wasn't that. Not that she was objecting. Faxen remained in his arms as she looked up at him, trying to catch her breath. She didn't know what to expect out of him anymore, but it wasn't what she got. Faxen would never have imagined that he would say those words to her in front of so many people. I want you more than anything else in the world, Faxen. It was more than she had hoped for. He was her best friend. He had stood by her through it all, and she could only be so lucky to have him return her feelings.

Before Faxen could get out a response, Enzo's lips were on hers once more. This time it was a different kiss. One with less urgency and more tenderness and passion. Faxen enjoyed it just as much as the last kiss; she didn't want it to end. However, it was getting a little too private and too intimate for such a public place. She broke away reluctantly. The brunette stayed in his arms though; fearing that if she let go, he would vanish forever. Faxen wasn't sure what this meant for them, but she didn't want to have this conversation here. She slowly untangled herself from him. "Come with me?" she asked, hoping that he would agree. She led the way back to their suite. Once there, Faxen wrapped her arms around him once more. "So what was this about you wanting me more than anything in the world?" the pretty girl asked with a playful smirk. "I would like to hear more about that." she said, before leaning up to kiss him again. Faxen thought that she could kiss him for the next one hundred years and never grow tired of those kisses.

The kiss on his lips, lingers on. He couldn't keep his eyes away from Faxen, in his eyes it's only her and no one. Enzo didn't care about all the people looking at them, after all he's used to people staring at him. It would amazing to just frolic in the sun and enjoy time with Faxen, less the drama. When his best friend asked to follow her, he did. It made him wonder what was this about, does she hates him for this, for everything? Hearing her words, he couldn't help but laugh a little. Just like every girl, words really does mean a lot to them. Enzo pulled her closer to him and kissed her back, liking every taste of her lips. How he wish this could end but knowing that Faxen might not want a serious relationship or she may think that he's not capable of even a relationship worries her. Seven days, more or less is enough to show how much he likes her. "As far as I could remember you promised me a skinny dipping." he teased her, not sure if she's joking before. He couldn't think of anything to say, what was there to say? Enzo's lips remained silent for a moment, he continued to just wrap his arms around Faxen, trying to think of what to say. Rather than talking or saying words to fill in the moment, he decided to bring her to a place. A special place that he only knew, since it's his uncle's resort, island. Enzo knew everything about it, he also knew a special place where they could talk, just the two of them.

"Come on, I'm going to show you something." he said, holding Faxen's hand and leading her the way. It is indeed a hot day, he could feel his whole body sweating, even more that he's with Faxen. In a couple of minutes they arrived their destination, a hidden paradise away from the beach. It was more of like a private swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, not all visitors were allowed to visit such place. "I thought you wanted some privacy." he showed her one of the most beautiful spot in the entire resort. Just to her and for her. Other than that, he doesn't know what to do anymore. He could kiss her until midnight or just look at her beauty, "Since it's sizzling hot, and I don't mean it just because you're here. Why don't we just take a swim for a while? Or is it there anything you want to do, other than swimming?" he mused on and approached Faxen once more, facing her beautiful face, staring into her eyes and kissed her on the lips once more. He would never exchange anything for this, just to be with the girl that he truly adores, Faxen Lowart.

Faxen didn't mind when Enzo chuckled at her words before pulling her closer to him. She went willingly, wrapping her arms around his neck. Once more their lips touched and lingered there. Each kiss only left her all the more inthralled with him. This was crazy. They were supposed to just be here to enjoy some nice weather and spend quality time together. However, this trip was evolving at a drastic rate. The brunette wasn't sure where this was going to lead, or if anything would ever come of this. It might just be that she was caught up in the first real feeling of emotion since her break up, but Faxen didn't care. She didn't want to lose this feeling. Not now. Not ever. The brunette lowered her caramel eyes, looking down at her hands entwined with his. Patience was not a virtue that she possessed. The silence was killing her. The words that Enzo spoke were not an answer to her question exactly, but more of a joke. A laugh slipped through Faxen's lips as she shook her head. "So you've been thinking about that, huh?" she teased him lightly. "I won't rule it out." she said, kissing his jawline playfully.

Enzo surprised Faxen when he asked her to come with him so that he could show her something. She was curious as to what he could possibly have to show her. So, the brunette nodded her head and followed him down a few different paths before arriving at a place that looked like their own private paradise. There was a very nice pool with a jacuzzi along with what looked like a large hammock and maybe a bar. The hammock looked very tempting. "Wow. Are you sure we are allowed to be here?" Faxen asked him. He wasn't wrong about the fact that she would enjoy privacy especially with him. Faxen grinned at Enzo's next little flirtation, wondering if he tried these same lines with other girls. Once again, her lips touched his, parting slightly. Their kiss lasted a few minutes before Faxen broke away slightly. "You know, I love swimming, but I would rather stay right here and do this with you." she said, eyeing the hammock once more. "I just want to relax." she told him, kissing him once more.

Enzo couldn't fathom everything, that in just a glimpse of time here he is, spending time with his dearest friend. A friend that he truly loves, though he decides just this time to break down the walls of friendship. Leading Faxen to the secret spot, he wondered if she'll love his surprise just for her; with a sly smile he nodded at her words and continued on. Once he revealed the secret paradise, Enzo wondered what to do if ever she doesn't want to go skinny dipping. Soon it'll be night and the place is all theirs to enjoy. At first, all he could think of was gaze at her, how he felt so lucky to have this chance and how he would never to ruin any of it now. "Of course! You know, no one can disturb us here." he teased as he pulled away from her and gave Faxen a short tour of the place. Everything you can imagine is there, from the bar up to the lovely romantic hammock that the brunette seems to be eyeing on. As it may seem too obvious, Enzo didn't respond or suggested the idea to enjoy the hammock at first. He wanted to hear it directly from her, "Don't worry about the pool though, it is also heated." Enzo said with a wink.

Finally, when Faxen pointed out the nice hammock, Enzo agreed. "Lovely choice!" he exclaimed and gently grabbed her hand leading them both to the hammock, by which they can cuddle too perhaps. As she leaped to kiss him, Enzo too kissed her back, a little bit of teasing in between. He couldn't help but smother his lips into her and enjoy every minute of it. The two laid on the hammock as they looked up into the now dark sky and wait for the shines to appear beneath them. He wrapped his arms around Faxen at the same time balancing their weight on the hammock. "I hope the stars shine for us." he mumbled into her ears and kissed her cheek. Enzo could feel their warmth together, how lovely it is to spend time with a girl he truly desires. Minutes passed and the stars, started to appear. Some shining brightly and some glimmering with joy, he pointed out a star and looked at Faxen, "Just like the star, you'll always shine in my heart." Enzo said to her, with a sincere smile. Although he's flirting, every word and every sentence is true to his heart. Once more he gazed out to the sky and in between, he would look at the beauty beside him. How lucky is he to have Faxen Lowart in his arms tonight.

The sunlight was fading into darkness as the brunette looked into those frighteningly beautiful green eyes. He assured her that they were indeed allowed to be here; she also enjoyed that this would be a private place to spend time with him. A month ago, a week ago, a day ago, Faxen wouldn't have imagined that she would be here, doing this with Enzo. Though she didn't really have any idea what exactly this was, or if it was even something more than a week long thing. For once, Faxen decided not to think about it, not to worry about it. She deserved to be happy and have fun, and she intended to do just that with her best friend. The brunette smiled up at that handsome face as he took her hammock suggestion. Enzo grabbled her and led her over, tumbling down into the hammock with her. Faxen curled up into his arms as the twilight set it. She relaxed, feeling closer to Enzo than she ever had.

A soft, gentle smile appeared on Faxen's lips as she heard the whispered intimate idea that the stars were there for them alone. She wasn't sure that was the first time that he had used this line, but she didn't care as she found it sweet. They laid there is silence as the stars shone brighter. Enzo raised his arm and pointed out a star to her. Faxen felt warmth spreading throughout her body as he spoke, making her want him more than she already did. "I can only hope that's true." she said, knowing that she was about to cross a line forever. The pretty brunette looked up at Enzo, desire in her brown eyes. She moved closer to him, touching her lips to his. Her arms wrapped around his neck as she shifted herself in the hammock. There was one thing on her mind, and it didn't involve talking.
