Ivy stared at the ceiling above her, it felt like hours had pasted since she was awake. But in reality, it was only a few minutes later. She felt as though her body didn’t had any rest at all. She sighed. It was way too early to get up, but Ivy knew that her mind wouldn’t allow her to get back to sleep. She pushed herself up and looked at the other girls in her dormitory, all still asleep. Getting rid of the warm blanket, her bare feet touched the cold, stone floor of the dungeon. She shivered. Now, she was fully woken. As she sat on the edge of her bed, she tried to decide what to do. There probably weren’t any other students awake yet, and she definitely didn’t wanted to stay inside the dungeons. The courtyard. As soon as she thought of it, she knew that it was the place where she wanted to go to. Jumping off her bed, she quickly bend to reach her suitcase. As Ivy was putting her school uniform on, she figured that it was also smart to wear her cloak. It was only early in the morning and she didn’t want to catch a cold.

The silence was only broken by her footsteps echoing through the castle. Ivy increased her pass a bit as she didn’t really felt comfortable in the deserted corridors of the school. Back at home it was totally different, there was everything nice and small as it was just the 2 of them. Only her and her dad. But here, here it was her and the other hundreds of students in the gigantic castle. It was a huge change, but not a bad one. She loved it in here, only sometimes it was just a bit too overwhelming. Being glad that she recognized some paintings from the last time she had been to the courtyard, Ivy knew that it couldn’t take long any more. And she was right, only one minute later she set foot in the courtyard. Ivy took a deep breath, the fresh air filling her nostrils. The grass still was a bit wet because of the morning dew and she heard various birds chirping, announcing the new day. Ivy leaned against one of the many pillars, closing her eyes to fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It felt as though all her worries were being taken away. Right now, she could only think about all the new memories she was going to make in here. In Hogwarts. And it made her happier than anything in the world.

Rome had run into Lanithro surprisingly early in the morning which was surprisingly for her, she'd been getting to know Lanithro ever since they'd first met in school during first year, she didn't mind the gryffindor counter part, when Cairo was busy he was a good partner in crime and she definitely enjoyed when they teamed up, it was not as fun as with cairo but it was different for one thing he didn't mind when Rome got a little bit over reacting as some said. She met him just outside the kitchens and had just wandered up the stair case with him, and then upon reaching the courtyard, Rome spotted a girl she remembered seeing from the common room and signalled for him to also notice the girl. She made a motion for him to sssh, and keep quiet which he probably understood by the quiet nature of the place itself. Rome pulled out her wand, keeping it easily by her side, and hid behind one of the pillars, following the girl who didn't see to be noticing them at all, and she just smirked at this fact.

The only real sound was that of the chirping birds so the teen pointed her wand at one of the birds and then quietly muttered, "Stupefy" she muttered quietly and the spell shot from her wand and hit the little animal and it seemed to fall to the ground, the singing stopped entirely and she turned towards him, with a smirk on her face waiting to see what he might do, still well hidden in the spot that she had picked. This year she knew that she had to try to keep going to her classes, it wasn't fun, but she'd learned so many useful spells for causing little bits of chaos that she couldn't help but want to continue to do that, and the spells would only get better so of course she had to give it her best shot, but for now, she was just happy to be inflicting just a little of suffering upon the small animal and hopefully messing with the young girl who had sought the company of the singing bird on this morning in the courtyard.

Being busy with her own thoughts, Ivy first of didn't even notice the sudden silence. But now looking around, her brows furrowed. The sounds of the birds she had heard before were gone. Strange, really strange for a place surrounded by nature. She stepped forward, leaving her comfortable spot against the pillar. Her gaze tried to spot the cause of the silence, but without success. Ivy shivered, this situation made her feel uncomfortable, even a bit afraid. Was she being paranoid, or was there really something going on? Suddenly a smile appeared on her face, of course there was nothing. She was just panicking about nothing. The redhead lowered her shoulders, trying to look more secure about herself. She should definitely try to become less suspicious, but on the other hand; it had only been a few days since her arrival at Hogwarts, so she couldn't really blame herself for overreacting. Ivy pursed her lips together, whistling a short melody in the hope that one of the birds would react.
