Ella kicked the practice Quaffle around angrily. She could not believe that she hadn't made team. She didn't want it to annoy her but the fact that they had chosen that stupid alternate from last year it did. She figured that if whoever would be captain was going to choose him again next year she would have to wait for to other Beater on the team to graduate school which would mean that she would only get to play for one year before she would graduate herself. Had she been able to still play baseball back home she wouldn't have been this bothered by the whole situation, but since she couldn't because of school, and there wasn't any other activity at the school that seemed even remotely fun to the Ravenclaw, the only thing left to do for her was to wait patiently for the position on the team to become available again. Ella gave the practice Quaffle another kick and ran after it to stop it from going too far away from her.
