Demetrius Aurelious had been at Hogwarts New Zealand, for what seemed like forever. He didn't know many people here, only his older brother and sister, who weren't really his brother and sister, they were adopted by his parents, who had adopted him three years ago. Sometimes he felt a little left out, Fayt and Gabrylle were blood-related, in fact, they were twins, and Hannah and Vincent were married for several years. But all Deme had was memories of his old parents and family, which were not nice ones at all. He yawned as he left the Ravenclaw Common Room, he had been trying to sleep, but he couldn't. He was in a new place and he was still trying to figure his way around, he had been late to every class he had, it was starting to get ridiculous. To make matters worse, the school was so large, and Deme was so small, he had been getting in so much exercise, he felt like he could be a long distance runner ro something. His feet were always starting to hurt by the end of the day because he had been running back and forth to places, all the time. It was like they expected him to be a super speedy person that actually enjoyed racing up and down stairs, running around corridors and slamming into closed doors, when all he wanted to do was make it to class, on time, and learn something, graduate and live his life as a wizard, was that too much to ask? Obviously, considering the school was all over the place and absolutely nothing seemed to make the slightest bit of sense to the poor young Ravenclaw.

He sighed as he wondered his way to the Forbidden Forest, he wasn't scared, even though he should be in the castle at this time. He was too excited to be scared of the forest, what was there to be scared of anyway? A few creatures? Pffft. They were just creatures, they had hearts, surely they wouldn't bother him if he didn't bother them. Sure this was probably comepletely wrong, but Deme was eleven, and he thought it to be right, in true eleven year old fashion. He smirked as he reached the forest and hopped over a fallen log and continued onward. He wasn't sure exactly where he was going, all he knew was that he wanted to go somewhere, anywhere, as long as it wasn't the castle. The night was so nice tonight, the stars were all out and the moon was bright and spectacular, he was sure no-one could resist the moon when it was like this, when he walked past the lake a while ago, the sky seemed to be mirrored by the lake, it was amazing to say the least. The forest was nice to, the wind whistled and the trees waved in the air slowly, and some of the leaves that lay on the ground would be gathered up by the wind and would float around. The only thing that was missing was butterflies or something, something pretty and nice, or maybe daisies! That would brighten up the place by a great margin. He started to skip through the forest, careful not to trip over anything, but he was making sure he was having a good time, he snuck around trees and crawled under low hanging branches, he slid down the sides of hills and also attempted to climb one of the trees, though he ended up falling out of it, with a loud thump. "Ouch..." He muttered, rubbing his right shoulder, picking himself up and looked around. No-one ever liked falling, and that included Deme, he frowned and looked at his shoulder, it wasn't really damaged, but it sure was sore. Atleast his Ravenclaw robes weren't damaged or dirty, this time.

It wasn't like Professor Davershire was in a bad mood today, it was just that she did not feel like doing night duty. Sure, she didn't have any classes tomorrow, and had the full day to recover, but Ava would so much prefer to be in her room right now, reading a book or even marking her classes' homework!
Ava sighed, trying to knock the thoughts out of her head. There was nothing she could do about it, so she might as well just enjoy the quiet time to herself. Besides, her shift was almost over anyway. Making her final round, Ava was excited to get back to her room and have a large mug of hot tea. She walked through the Entrance Hall, and noticed that the doors were open. Ava narrowed her eyebrows, unsure why they would be, but supposed that it may have just been someone being lazy. Muttering to herself about the lack of security that person left, she went forwards to close the doors and lock them. Something, however, caught her eye. She drew her wand out, and looked out of the castle, and noticed a small body running towards the Forbidden Forest. Ava groaned in annoyance, and started to swiftly move towards the Forest; probably some courageous first year thinking they could handle whatever was out there.
At the edge of the Forest, Ava began to panic when she realized that the child hadn't chickened out, and had gone into the Forest. It wasn't that long ago that a Professor had died out here! Ava lit her wand and held it in front of her as she quickly ran into the Forest after the child. She hadn't been in there long before she heard a young male voice saying 'Ouch'. Ava quickly made her way over to the sound, before seeing a young boy on the ground. She didn't recognize the boy, but Ava did recognize the Ravenclaw robes. The mother in her quickly came to surface and she ran over and knelt besides the boy. "Are you alright young man? Where does it hurt?"

Deme was considering wondering around more, it was rather dark now, he couldn't see three feet in front of him. He was deep in the forest by now and since he fell out of a tree, he wasn't entirely sure where he was supposed to be going now, was he going deeper? Was he heading towards the casle if he took this path? Was there a hidden cliff edge that he would fall off he he went in that direction? So many questions plagued the young Ravenclaw. He wondered around a little, not especially sure where he was going now, though now he wouldn't mind going back to the Ravenclaw Common Room, or maybe the Hufflepuff one, that was the closer one that didn't have the snake, wasn't it? If there was one thing that would make Deme grow pale and faint, it would be a giant snake out here. The thought maybe the young boys skin crawl with worry, and maybe a little bit of regret for the situation, oh what a lucky boy he was being lost out here. Yipee! He frowned, this wasn't much fun, it would be more fun if there was someone else with him, that would be great for sure, but there was no-one, maybe next time he could bring Taylor? They were buddies after all, surely she would come with him to the forest next time. BUt that thought ended when he fell down, again. "Ouch!" He cried, looking at his now very sore hand, his shoulder wasn't much better. He couldn't see anything, the sky was covered by the trees, so he had no idea what he fell over, it could have been anything really. A log, a vine, a pumpkin, a person that decided to take a nap out here, though that was highly unlikely, it did cross the boys mind, making him shake his head.

Deme looked around when he heard something coming, he wasn't sure whether he should call out 'over here!' or try to stand up and run in a random direction, trying not to scream like a little girl. Though the last thought was quickly dashed aside, if he ran away in a random direction, he could end up living the rest of his life out here, that didn't sound like much fun, so he decided to sit quietly and wait to see if he was found. If it was a person, they would stumble across him because he was lying in a little dirt trail, if it wasn't... hopefully they would just miss him. When a woman called out and knelt beside him, she sounded really worried, like a mother would be, such a weird sound for him to hear since at home Hannah was rarely worried about him since he was 'a very good boy' and his real mother was never, ever, worried about him. He was glad that she recognised him as a boy, once he was mistaken for a girl, it was really awkward, just because he had shoulder length hair and a higher voice. "I'm okay," he said, trying to pick himself up and standing next to the woman, whom he was sure was a Professor, otherwaise she wouldn't be here, would she? He stood close to her, it was a natural instinct for him, mainly because he was in a deep dark forest and was starting to be creeped. "My hand really hurts." He explained, deciding that his shoulder would survive, but he wasn't sure about his wrist, he felt like it was dying, sure this was probably very dramatic of him, but that was how he was feeling and he was rather passionate about it. "Who are you?" He asked, deciding he should find out who was helping him.
