Sophie Wilson spent most of her time inside, which is why she had forced herself to go get some sunlight and study outdoors. She wasn't pleased after her conversation with Isaac, but tried to drown out her annoyance and hurt feelings by focusing hard on what she was supposed to be studying. At least Transfiguration was interesting, and she was almost happy to focus on that rather than anything bothering her.

It soon turned out that studying outside had it's issues, though. Sophie leaned against a tree with the book and parchment balanced on her lap. Unthinkingly, she placed her quill down on the grass as she turned the page. Before she could grab it again, the wind picked it up and transported it out of arm's reach. Sophie cursed. Shoving her book and parchment off her lap unceremoniously, she got to her feet to grab it. It was blown away again, and she had to follow it. Only when she finally managed to pick it up she remembered she could have used a summoning charm to get it. This didn't improve her mood. With a scowl, she walked back to the tree where her things were waiting for her. She was no longer in the mood to study.

With the end of the semester almost over, Anastasie knew that lots of people would be studying. The girl had been joining them, re-writing and memorising notes in the library and in the common room during her spare time. She wasn't as stressed as some others seemed to be however, and she wasn't entirely sure if this was because of her only being a first year, but she also felt that she wasn't as motivated as she usually was. With the lack of friends to study with, Ana wasn't really sure what to do. She was disappointed in the fact that she hadn't met any people at the school worth hanging out with and often wondered what it was about herself that made people want to stay away. After all, Ana couldn't help how blunt she could be and just wanted a friend who understood her.

Ana folded her arms across her chest as she made her way out onto the grounds. She never usually liked going outside, but with everyone else inside studying, Ana thought it would be the best way to be alone. She stood on the great lawn as the wind blew her hair. It felt weird being in New Zealand where the seasons were different, and instead of snow on a cold Winter's day, Ana saw bright green grass and her eyes stayed fixated on a caterpillar crawling up a long piece of it, going about its day in search for food. Suddenly the caterpillar turned into a quill rolling along the grass and Ana followed it until she noticed someone was chasing after it. The girl chuckled slightly, looking up at the older girl who had finally caught her quill. "Maybe you should keep a hold of that next time." she said, trying her best not to sound rude.

Sophie was glad nobody had at least seen her chase the quill. At least, that's what she thought until she saw a young looking girl standing there and looking at her. She sighed deeply, giving her a look. Her comment made her raise her eyebrows and scowl. "Wow, thanks for the advice." She said sarcastically. "I never would have thought of that myself." Rolling her eyes, she shook her head. "Maybe you should try minding your own business next time, as long as we're giving out advice." She added. Hopefully this annoying firstie would leave her alone now. Sophie wasn't in the mood for any of this. Picking up her book again, she sat back down against the tree. Pointedly ignoring her now, she opened her book again. Though a part of her hoped the girl was angry now, she was sort of in the mood for an argument. She glanced up from her book at the girl to see what she would do.

Sara thought that right now was the best time to be out looking for her target. She honestly hadn't thought that she would be this far in the game but she had to admit she was proud of herself for her effort. Though her target didn't seem to enjoy being targeted as much as others, which dampened both the mood and the purpose of the game. She shrugged, and instead of walking back inside because maybe the girl was inside, as she passed two girls arguing she realised one was the person she was looking for. The Slytherin stopped in her tracks and backtracked, approaching Anastasie from behind as silently as she could, with her lit wand. When she got close enough to reach out she did so, attempting to touch the younger girl on the back.

Ana was a bit taken aback by the girl's remark and stood there helplessly as she was being told off by her. The girl was right in implying how obvious her statement was, but all Ana wanted to do was make a friend. She turned around away from the girl as she felt her eyes begin to water. She wasn't sure why but she felt like crying. No matter how hard Ana tried she couldn't make any friends and she wondered why it was no one seemed to like her. Was it because she was ugly? She couldn't think of anything else that could be it. As she continued to look out at the grass, she jumped when she felt someone behind her. Yet again, it was that older Slytherin girl trying to assassinate her. She had formed a lot of hatred for the girl who stole her textbook and her tears of sadness turned into anger as she jumped away from her and her stupid wand. "Go away!" she shouted, not in the mood to deal with that girl. She stormed her way back to the castle with tears streaming down her face, hoping she'd never have to see that girl again.
