With another year starting at Hogwarts, Patrick was happy to be learning again, despite the fact his sister had now graduated. It annoyed him that Ana would be joining him instead but at least the boy wasn't alone, and with her being in a different house, it was a great excuse not to talk to her much. Luckily, Patrick was starting to grow into his robes and felt a bit older than what he did 12 months ago, especially with all of the younger students coming in. With classes just around the corner, Patrick figured he would go exploring. He didn't mind exploring on his own as long as he knew it was safe and he kept near the castle, not wanting to face any danger. The Hufflepuff spotted a cockroach crawling through the entrance hall and he beamed, following it outside into the courtyard. There wasn't much that was interesting about the cockroach but Patrick figured he should follow it, watching as it crawled into a crevice in one of the stone benches. Ana, nor his father, would never allow him to keep near a dirty cockroach, but it didn't seem like an ordinary cockroach. Patrick wondered if it had found food and was going back home to inform his family, and so he waited for it to come back out, sitting on the floor in front of the bench.

Joshua didn't like going up the towers. Another reason to his added growing list why he shouldn't be in Ravenclaw, Joshua thought the towers were way too high and terrifying. Something about the openness of it all freaked him out. It's like at any moment, if you were to trip and fall anywhere in the towers you were subject to plunge down automatically. In his first year, he's had nightmarish dreams of those towers, and it's most likely why he avoid going to his dorm unless it was getting late. Joshua roam the grounds floor freely. Some would think as much time as he spent down here, Joshua would know someone besides two students he took the express here last year. No, that's not the case. Joshua kept to himself. Today, though he just so happen to be more observant than usual. Joshua saw this boy, about his age follow a roach. It was the weirdest sight today. He never seen someone so compelled to follow a bug that way. Strange. "W-what are you doing?"
