Open After. Red Rose for @Charlie Madison
Signy had been rushing to find the last few people that she needed to. The teen didn't have that many roses left, but one of them was proving very hard for her to find. She had been seemingly chasing the girl for a little while, when the last person had told her that the girl was just there. "Charlie Madison!" Signy said very loudly, hoping to get the attention of the person, "I have a rose for you!" she added, hoping that would entice the girl to slow down and wait for her. She should want to stop, after all, Signy had a red rose for her.

Charlie had been dreading today just as much as she had last year. Getting roses from Phoebe always warmed her heart, but the entire practice had been tainted for her by Mervyn and Lucia so many years ago. The school was busy and loud and annoying and Charlie wanted no part of any of it, so she had been avoiding as much of the action as possible. The dungeons were expansive and winding and easy to get lost in, and most importantly, quiet, and Charlie had enjoyed spending the day exploring their depths and, most importantly, not being found by any rose deliverers. Her luck ran out eventually though, and Charlie groaned as she heard someone yelling her name. She turned around, eyeing the girl suspiciously, and held one hand out for the rose. "Did you read this?" She snapped, not willing to give any of these people the benefit of the doubt after what Mervyn had done.

Signy was a little surprised by the tone the girl took, it seemed she didn't seem particularly warmed to the rose giving, [bb]"Of course not,"[/b] The hufflepuff prefect replied, she wouldn't ever read a note before she gave it to someone. It didn't matter who they were, she couldn't ever imagine doing that. The people who had taken the time to write the notes to go along with the roses, definitely didn't think that some third party who were just tasked with handing out the roses would read it. She held out, the unopened and unread note and held it out to the girl, "if someone has in the past, you should tell the leaders, they could stop it from happening to others," signy commented with a little shrug, not thinking it right that those sort of people might still be handing out roses.
Can we blow something up on our next date?
Love you!
Phoebe

Charlie rolled her eyes at the older girl's advice, grabbing the rose and card from her hand quickly. "Sure." She said gruffly, turning to walk away without another word. Charlie didn't want to have anything to do with any of these delivery people, and knowing her luck, even if Charlie had reported Mervyn and Lucia at the time, she'd probably have wound up the one in trouble for fighting them. No, it was easier to handle her own business. Once she was a good distance away from the older girl Charlie opened the note, letting herself forget the ugliness of the past as Phoebe's words sent a grin spreading across her face. Charlie didn't think she could ever feel anything else as deep as the love she felt for her chaotic girlfriend, and she was excited to find the other girl and thank her in person.

Signy was a little surprised by the girl's gruffness, but if she'd had a bad experience in the past then Signy could understand why she might react like that to getting a note from someone and it being delivered to her. She shrugged to herself and just headed off, hoping that the notes was a good one. For Signy there were plenty more people she needed to find.
