Carrow Hall

She allowed a smile to appear on her face and though she was evil incarnate and was destroying the man's life before her with the tampering of his mind, Thorine still remembered why she had done this too him. It had begun for her, first her convincing herself that she loved him but besides Christian she knew she was incapable of feeling that emotion for anyone else. Then it had been because she had been 'the woman scorned' and to a muggle no less which had torn through her like the worst case of jealousy ever. Now... now she would want never to have laid eyes on him but it was too late, Christian and his father had connected. Had made a bond which she would not break. Whatever disgust she felt now when he touched her she could not deny the fact that he made their son happy.
She softened considerably towards him over this and it was only this fact that had prevented her from killing him before now or taking her temper out on the muggle scum he had married.

"Goodnight then" she whispered, as he kissed her back. Once his touch would have melted her. She closed her eyes to see if she could regain that feeling but knew it had all been lust, nothing more. With a sigh she stood back from him.
"Sleep well Tristan, sleep well".

"Good night," Tristan murmured softly, moving from his seat and stepping slowly out of the room. The charade had been successful so far and it would do no good to rouse Thorine's suspicions. Careful not to make direct eye contact with the portraits he picked up the pace a bit. His usually powerful muscles had become weak under his drug induced stupor.

Still, he managed to make it to Thorine's room in record time. Taking off only his shoes he slipped under the covers. If the plan worked, he would be out of here in three weeks.

Three weeks.
