Caramelldansen

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi for one didn't think that the DJ would actually do it. She had dared him to play "Caramelldansen" because he looked young enough to be dared but she had very much doubted that he would actually do it. There had been few that took her dares because they where so ridiculous. Still Hoshi had happy he did. Hoshi had her hands up around her head and sort of waived while moving her hips like mad. There where only couples dancing before and Hoshi, with a good chance of being alone tonight, didn't think that was fair to the people who were here alone. So she tried to start a group dance. The Caramell Dance could be done by anyone because no one had to really know how to dance. They just had to be bold enough to make the flapping dog ears with their hands.

 

[Riley Sparkles]

Riley was bored. Balls were never her thing, but she though she might as well attend her first Hogwarts ball. As she looked around, all she saw were couples dancing. Her best friend wasn't even there to keep her company. She sighed as she took a sip from her drink, watching the dancers. As the music changed, Riley noticed a lone girl on the dance floor. She started to giggle as the girl put her hands on her head, and shook her hips. Itching to join in, Riley kicked off her shoes, and ran to the dance floor. Watching the girl one last time, Riley had the dance steps down; it was simple! "Mind if I join?" She asked. Not waiting for a reply, she started laughing as she danced with the older girl, not caring in the slightest what she looked like.

 

[Grace Brown]

Grace was extremely surprised she had actually come to the dance. Let alone in a dress! The last time Grace had worn a dress was when she was a toddler and she couldn't fight back. Grace was on her own swaying with the beat of the songs as all the couples danced. Yuck, boys were gross. They were meant for playing with, not kissing. Grace was watching an older couple kiss with a disgusted look on her face when all of a sudden a very fast and awesome sounding song came on. Grace saw one of the older Slytherins begin swinging her hips from side to side and waving her wands like dog ears. That looked like so much fun! Soon enough a 2nd year Gryffindor had joined her. Courage was a thing Grace never had a problem finding so almost at once Grace was standing next to the girls and laughing along. Maybe dance's weren't so bad after all!

 

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi had felt no shame in dancing the way she was. One thing about Hoshi was that she was as loud as they came. She looked at the younger Gryffendor with a large smile on her face. "Of course you can join in. It's better in a group anyway." Hoshi said laughing. "Come on move your hips, sing waahah." She sang along with the song as she kept moving her hips to the beat. Had people been out of shape this much movement might move the stomach but Hoshi could keep up without much of a problem. Another girl came and started dancing next to them so Hoshi had the idea of the Caramell formation. Quickly Hoshi jumped back making a triangle while keeping the movement with her hands. Hoshi was inviting one of them to take center stage while the other two would be her back ups.
