Sky was happy. working between the music shop and private musing lessons. travelling with Ngawaiata playing music and practicing tricks. She had managed to manipulate her bow to hold a wand so she could play and cast elusion charms as she plaid to give the effect of special effects around her even in the sunlight that was a slighly overcast day in obsidian harbour. it was fun casting sparks in the air making the story she was playing on her viola visable to everyone not just her as saphire sparks rained down around her before forming into the shape of a mermaid and swimming around her and towards the harbour behind all as she played the story along. this was her favorite kind of playing. the ballence of music, magic, emotion and illusion to tell a story without words. but it ws something she could only really do in magical areas. as it would be pushing the secrecy to say it was muggle special effects. she wasnt really watching the small crowd forming in front of her she had a vague notion of some small children squeeling in delight as a fish swam past them but other than that she was lost in the world she was making.
when she came to the end of the piece she opened her eyes and took a small bow to the people clapping her and the few puttign some sickles and even a couple of gallions in her case. "thank you, i hope you enjoyed it. I am going to take a break. but i will be back here again at two" she said. before ducking goewn to high five the kids who came to her case with coins and then taking a sip from her water bottle.

Casper was on his way back from dropping off a few paintings to a new client, and he'd decided to stroll Obsidian Harbour while he was about. It was always good to get a little fresh air. He paused, hands in his pockets, when he spotted a familiar face. He watched the show, admiring her work. After the kids left her he approached. "Hey, Sky," He greeted her. He hadn't seen her since they'd been at school. "Long time no see. Great show!" Casper smiled, not as shyly as he would have when they were younger. She definitely looked more grown up now- like she'd come into herself. He supposed he must, too- his hair was lighter, the last of his baby fat gone, his body more lean- tho that might also be from him unintentionally getting lost in his work a lot of the time and forgetting to eat for periods.

Sky thanked the kids and started to pack up. she had always liked busking. It was nice playing outside and there was a freedom to it without having to stick to set lists or other people or even songs she had played before. but she particulally liked busking in obsidian or any of the other wizard shopping areas as they meant she couple play and thread magic into her acts. she was just putting her bow into her case when she heard her name in a voice that was familiar to her even though she hadnt heard it in years. she turned around to see Casper Beckett sanding in front of her. looking older and somehow more comfortable in his skin than he had done at school, though she couldn't exactly pinpoint how, something in the way he carried himself. "Casper Beckett. Hello. its so nice to see you" she said. smiling widely and giving him a hug. she smiled as he complimented her playing. "thank you. i've been working on it for a while. And it's always nice performing here, so i can weave in some magic" she said. "it's been so long. what have you been up to." she said. despite him being a few years older than her they had been good friends at school working alongside each other in the arts club though she had lost contact with him once he had graduated. she wondered if he was. free it would be nice to have a catch up maybe a coffee or some lunch. she had a few hours before she would perform again.

Casper chuckled, hugging her back tightly. He stepped back as she did, smiling warmly. "Well, it's Casper Kinnek now," He flashed her his wedding ring, the line tattoo of linden leaves curled around his ring finger and up his hand visible beneath it, his winter forest arm sleeve on the right side and the twining arm wrap of leaved vines on the left both hidden under his sleeves- even if snowflakes over his collarbone and a curl of the vine peeked from the top of his shirt. "But what do you say we duck into that cute little bistro down the street and you let me buy you a drink? Maybe something to eat?" He offered with an easier grin. "Take some time to talk properly."

Sky had always looked up to casper. not only because he was several years older and she was not tall, but also because he had always encouraged her with her music. he had been the one to make the arts room not just a club room but a haven for anything creative. she smiled when he said he was Casper Kinneck now. "wow that is a beautiful Ring. The design is so detailed," she said, looking at the wooden effect of the metal especially how it blended in with the twist of the leaves inked underneath. "Who is the lucky man?" she asked. she was pretty sure Casper had been dating one of his dorm mates and she remembered her and Renata walking in on them making out. But she was fairly sure that Kinneck was not his name. Her thoughts went to Ngawaiata and the life they were building together. Travelling so her amazing girlfriend could take part in duelling tournaments that always made her feel like she had her heart in her mouth, and she would find somewhere to play wherever they went. and the cottage they had near their families. It wasn't a fancy life. But they were happy, and it was theirs. "Yes, a catch up would be nice. and well overdue" she said. She had been meaning to try the eggplant bagel the bistro did, though she had been looking for an excuse to justify it, and this may be the perfect reason.

Casper smiled brightly. "Thank you," He looked at his own ring, admiring it again. "I do absolutely love it." He rubbed it against his cheek a moment, looking forward to getting home that night. He chuckled at the question she offered. "An understandable question. Linden. We took my mothers maiden name. We didn't want to take my adopted families name and Casper Cullen was too Twilight," He informed her with a wink. As she agreed, his smile widened. "Great!" He offered his arm out to her. "Shall we?"

Ivy watched Casper as he clearly thought about his husband, and she thought about Ngawaiata. They had been together for nearly five years now. Talk of marriage had never really come up. But seeing how happy and in love Casper was, it made her think if maybe that could one day be something they coould talk about. "ahh, yes. You two were sweet together at school, always in each other's orbit," she said, picturing a binary star system and how the two stars orbiting in each other's gravity as she remembered how they used to hover around each other. though sometimes linden studying in the arts room was a bit inconvenient when she had wanted to play or paint music. "but what's dusk got to do with the name?"' She asked, a little confused. She finished packing her things away and snapped the latch closed on her viola case. "Yes, I'm ready. Where do you want to go?" she said, picking up her things and not noticing his arm out.
