Malachi hadn't moved since his twin brother had entered the house. He just stood, leaning against the wall on the opposite side of the room, arms crossed, and a scowl on his face.
Disgusting. That's the only way you could describe Peyton. He glowered as his parents welcomed him though, hugging him as if they actually loved him... How could anyone love a death eater?
He'd been at his parents' house for all of half an hour and already Malachi was plotting his escape. The less time he had to spend around his sick brother, the better. But when his glare was met by Peyton's, Malachi forgot about his escape. He hated his twin but he was not about to leave his parents because of something so trivial. At this point, Malachi still cared for his parents more than he hated his brother. So instead he decided to settle for just pissing off his brother and trying to make him look bad in front of his parents. Sure, it was childish, but it was Malachi's goal to get their parents to see who Peyton really was.
So Malachi greeted his twin with, "Hey, is that a bit of blood I see on your shirt?" Followed by a smirk which was a mixture of a forced smile and a scowl.
