Duncan had been on his way back up to the Gryffindor common room when he had seen it, plastered onto the wall. His eyebrows raised as his eyes widened. "What the.. ?" A werewolf? That was the part that caught his eyes first, screaming out the warning of the tales he had heard in his childhood. But his father had always been encouraging of him in the acceptance of others, whether they be feared as vampires were, or misunderstood like werewolves. Duncan found himself wondering who 'Briar Rowan' was, until he realised how he knew the name. She was one of the Gryffindor prefects. Though he had only met her once or twice in passing, she had seemed pleasant enough, and had in no way represented either of the things written. Still, he knew not to judge a book by its cover. "This is cruel," he said aloud, finding passing students stopping to see what was cruel. It was then that Duncan became aware of the time, that the young wizard friend he was supposed to be meeting, would have been waiting for him five minutes. He decided to head off to meet his friend, doubting that the writing was going to morph into anything of particular concern in the time he stood there. Perhaps he would meet a professor on the way back up and inform them?

Light was wandering around the fifth floor, for no particular reason when she passed a fellow first year whom she only knew by name as Duncan. A few feet away she heard him say that something was cruel. When she turned around many students stopped and looked at the young boy. Light made her way over. "Duncan? What's so cr-" Light then saw the cruelly made poster that looked as though it was written in blood. "Do you know who Briar Rowan is?" Light whispered. She was scared. Even though this was a cruel joke, she remembered what happens when one might get to close to a werewolf, it usually meant death or horrible pain.

The Head Girl was glad to be back in school. Her life had seemingly gotten busier with more classes this semester opposed to the previous ones. However she was doing well for herself for the time being. She was walking down from the towers, when her silvery eyes landed on a group of younger students gathered around something. She then made her way to it before her eyes feasted upon what she was reading. A prefect that she was in charge of was a werewolf. Whipping out her wand, she hissed, "This is just repulsive." Setting an example for the younger students, she ended the permanent sticking spell to the poster before she ripped it from the wall. She crumpled it into her hand, before she made it vanish with a small pop. Kamaria might be a strong pure-blood and hate things like werewolves, but one should never be outed like this. If anything their secret deserved to remain a secret. Kara started to wonder if there would be other posters like this one. The skank part did not bother her, but she doubted that anyone would be like that so young like Briar was. Unless she was starting early. That happened a bit. She knew a girl that was pregnant in her sixth year, and had the baby in her seventh. Kara shuddered before she passed through the corridor, her eyes looking around for more posters to take down.

Napoleon approached the notice which was gathering a small crowd. It looked although it had been written in blood and was not until he neared the parchment that he could read exactly what it said. This was no official notice about rule changes or an approaching event, this was slander set to embarrass whoever this Briar Rowan person was. “Briar Rowan, but who’s Briar Rowan?” He asked, taking a short pause before asking his next question. “And what’s a skank Of course he knew what a warewolf was, anyone, including muggle borns would have heard of warewolfs and exactly what that entailed but he was only eleven and skank was an entirely new word to him.
