Breakfast

[Alyssa Chevalier]

Alyssa slowly walked down into the great hall. For once she actually had an appetite for breakfast. So Alyssa had gotten up a bit earlier up then she usually did. She saw no one she was really close with inside the hall so Alyssa chose an area by herself and sat down at the table.

Staring uneagerly at the food Alyssa was unsure if she even wanted anything to eat at all.

'I wonder if any of my friends will show up and join me.' Alyssa thought to herslef and reached for a piece of toast.

 

[Aiden Mauven]

Aiden woke up early this morning finding himself unable to go back to sleep he dragged himself over to the Great Hall for some decent coffee. When he got to the great hall he scanned the room for faces he recognized, Aiden noticed Aly was sitting alone so Aiden adjusted his glasses and walked over to her and said, "Morning Space Trooper." Aiden smiled brighlty and took a mug and poured some coffee into the mug and took a sip while sitting across from her.

 

[Alyssa Chevalier]

Alyssa blinked and turned to face Aiden. She smiled lightly and placed her piece of toast back onto the plate.

"Whoa. Hey Aiden. I didn't know you wore glasses."

 

[Aiden Mauven]

"Yeah, its too early for contacts..." Aiden said with a small shrug. "So how did you sleep?" Aiden aske with a nice smile.

 

[Kate Johnson]

Kate came down to breakfast sleepily. She saw Aiden and another girl who she didn't reconise sitting at a table. Deciding to go and sit with them she walked over and shyly but very politely asked, "Do you mind me sitting with you please?"
Standing by them. "Hi Aiden" She said cheerfully, "Hi there," a little shyly now, "I am sorry i don't know your name." She blushed concerned that it had come out wrong. "Not to be rude though. I think that you are very pretty by the way!" She said quickly biting her lip as she looked at the ground.

 

[Aiden Mauven]

Aiden was taking a small sip of coffee while waiting for Aly's response when Kate came over. Aiden gave her a nice smile and said, "Morning Kate." When Kate mentioned that she didn't know Aly's name he said, "Oh sorry where are my mannors, Kate this is Alyssa, Alyssa this is Kate.." Aiden smiled warmly at Aly and said, "I think you can join us, I mean, its not my house table, so I guess its up to Aly..."

 

[Kate Johnson]

Kate smiled warmly at Aiden then as he introduced Alyssa she froze on the spot. This was Aiden's girlfriend. Oh she hoped that she wasn't interupting things? "Hi Alyssa, how are you? Can i please sit with you?"

//Ha. Sorry about posting so late, I unfortunantly got a small case of the stomach flu.//

Alyssa shurgged her shoulders. She never met this girl but it didn't seem like she was going to do much harm to anyone.

"Sure. If you don't mind risking your butt sitting at a Slytherin table." She gave Kate a small smile and took a small bite from the corner of her toast. After Alyssa took a bite she turne towards Aiden and gave him a playful smile.

"I slept alright. It was pretty cold in my room though." Alyssa admitted.

[Oh that's aweful, are you feeling any better?]

Aiden shrugged not really knowing what to say so he took another sip of his coffee and asked both Aly and Kate, "So how have your classes been so far?"

//I'm still somewaht sick. But I'm much better than I was.//

Alyssa shrugged her shoulders and dropped her toast onto the plate with disinterest. She probably shouldn't be eating this early anyways. It'd make her bloat later on in the day. Alyssa moved her hand and tucked some of her blonde hair away from her face so she could give Aiden a smile.

"I guess, since it's only been one day since I started all my classes space-cadet." Alyssa giggled.

 

[Aiden Mauven]

Aiden chuckled and said, "Ah well in that case space trooper, I hope they all are to your liking." Aiden flashed her a smile and asked Aly curiously, "How were the rest of your vacations? I'm sorry I didn't write you, I was sent back to France."

 

[Alyssa Chevalier]

Alyssa giggled.

"The rest of my vacation was pretty good. Theodore didn't cause me too many problems." Alyssa pushed her plate of toast away and gave Aiden a cute smile.

"What classes are you taking right anyways."

 

[Aiden Mauven]

"Thats good, did your parents behave?" Aiden asked worridly, he didn't like how upset Aly was with this whole Death Eater situation.

"Hmm I have History of Magic, and Astronomy with the Slytherins and Charms with the Hufflepuffs and Transfiguration with the Ravenclaws," Aiden said the last house with a fair bit of hatred then said, "What classes do you have?"

 

[Alyssa Chevalier]

Alyssa blinked and gave Aiden a small look of curiousity when she heard his heard about Ravenclaws. She wasn't particularly fond of them either, but then again Alyssa was a Slytherin. She didn't like any of the houses.

"Hmmm sounds like you've got something against the Ravenclaw house." Alyssa muttered slyly to Aiden.

"I have Astronomy and History of Magic with Gryffindor. Defense Against the Dark Arts with Ravenclaw and Herbology with Hufflepuff." Alyssa muttered distastfully.

 

[Aiden Mauven]

"I'll explain a little bit later Trooper..." Aiden said with a nice smile then said. "I bet you'll do great in all of your classes Aly..." Aiden said with a nice smile though hoping that Aly would be nice to the Hufflepuffs, they weren't ALL bad..I mean Kate and Pat were the only ones he really liked but they were still Puffs.

 

[Alyssa Chevalier]

Alyssa leaned over and looked into the cup that Aiden had been drinking. When she saw what was inside she gave him a playfully smile.

"Is my little space cadet drinking coffee?" She asked.

 

[Aiden Mauven]

Aiden nodded and said, "Yes my little space trooper, do you want some?"

 

[Alyssa Chevalier]

Alyssa stared at the coffee curiously.

"I've never had it. Daddy always said it would stunt my growth." Alyssa muttered quietly underneath her breath.

 

[Aiden Mauven]

"True..that and a few other things, so I take back my offer..." Aiden said then gave Aly a warm smile.

 

[Alyssa Chevalier]

"Did your parents ever make you drink tea when you were little?" Alyssa asked pushing Aiden's comment away. Aiden's father didn't look like the tea drinking type. But you can never know for sure.

 

[Kate Johnson]

[ Soz for not posting i have been super busy!!]

Kate listened with interest at this conversation and looked at her watch. Noticing the time she quickly said, "Thanks guys, i have to go now. I am meeting my cousin James Hill. He has been away ill with splattergroit but is arriving back now." She blushed shyly and silently made her way out of the great hall.

 

[Aiden Mauven]

[No problem]

"Nope, what about you?" Aiden asked then turned to Kate as she spoke and said, "Alright bye Kate..." Aiden smiled nicely at her.

 

[Alyssa Chevalier]

//It's cool. //

Alyssa muttered a mall goodbye and watched Kate walk off. She would've liked to have gotten to know her better, but then again she couldn't force Kate to stay. Once Kate was out of sight Alyssa turned and looked at Aiden.

"Yes. I still drink it all the time. I don't like it with the nasty lemon flavor added to it though." Alyssa's nose scrunches in disgust.

Aiden smiled at Alyssa and asked curisouly, "Do you not like lemon? Or just in your tea?

 

[Alyssa Chevalier]

"Well, I really dislike the lemon flavor in tea." Alyssa started slowly. "But I'm not really fond of lemons in general. They're too sour for me to handle." Alyssa's face scrunched again as she thought about the sour yellow fruit.
