Andrew walked into the Great hall which was full of people all having beakfast. He walked to the Slytherin table and sat down on an empty chair. It was a breezy day and weather was getting windy.Andrew helped himself with a pumpkin pastry and some toast and some tea.He felt very hungry but tried not to eat much or it would be a hard job up the Astronomy tower. He looked arround the table. There were many people all talking exitedly with their friends which made Andrew realise that he had no friend.Driving away the thought he took a sip from his tea cup.

Andromeda walked into the Great Hall and looked about her, she wasn't really that hungry but didn't want to be anywhere else either. It seemed the aroma of food lately was just extremely comforting. She spotted the boy Andrew who she had met briefly out on the lawn the week before.

Andromeda paused for the slightest moment, he was at the Slytherin table but he was on his own. She didn't hold too much store by the all Slytherin's are mean as she knew three of the first year girls and got on well with them. She decided to risk it. She walked slowly over noticing as she did so that some heads turned in her direction.

"Hi Andrew. Is it ok to sit with you?" she asked him expecting him quite frankly to tell her to get lost.

Andrew looked over his shoulder when he heard a voice."Greetings Andromeda"he said coldly."Sit with me?a Slytherin?"he said looking amazed,"Well Gryfindors are quite parallel to Slytherins arent they?"he added,"I wont mind ,of course, but I dont know what impression will it set on your fellow house mates."he said with a smirk.

Andromeda sat down and smirked "Yep, all about impressions me don't think I ever quite make the right one though. My Gryffindors friends are cool enough. They've all got friends in different houses".

Andy looked up and down the Slytherin table, she could honestly say she didn't know any of these students though.

"So what have you been up to then?"

A barn owl came in the Great Hall and flew to Andrew, landing nears its plate, it waited for the post to be read and for treats. Its was happily flying its wing due to have completed a delivery.

Dear Andrew,

I know you dont know who I am and why I have written to you.I was your mother's best friend and she shared all her secrets with me.If there is anyone in this world who knows most about your mother ,thats me.Salem told me that I must leave you own your own so that you can understand the hardships of life till you enter Hogwarts.I certainly didnt wish to do so but i had to swear.I had many times visited your orphanage to see you but I had never let Ms.Williams, your orphanage lady realise that I knew you.

I had promised Salem to take care of you and be your Godmother.I want to meet you,I will recognize you don't worry.Come to Hogs Head bar in Brighton Village in your trip.I will be waiting for you.Trust me.

Waiting to see you,
Your Godmother.

"I havent been doing anything exiting.Just the Homeworks and Visiting the library."he replied to her.Suddenly and owl came hooting to the table.Andrew thought that it was for Andromeda because he never got mail.
But the owl kept the mail infront of Andrew so he examined it.His name was written so it was actually his.He opened the letter and read it carefully.Every word made him even mor curious to know who had sent it but there was no name.
"My God-mother?"he said suspiciously. He actually had no information about his mother and he doubted the lady or whoever had sent this owl.Maybe someone's playing a joke on me he thought his mind working fast, but how would the sender know anything about my orphanage,I remember Ms Williams.Andrew knew that he could not trust this lady but if she was actually his god mother.....
"When is our next trip to Brigestone Village?"he asked Andromeda suddenly. His heart was thumping fast and sweat was running down his back.He knew that this could be a joke but deep inside he had hope.Hope to know his mother's past, hope to have some one whom he could go complaining about the food that she made.

Andy listened to Andrew before an owl appeared before them carrying mail. Andrew, she thought seemed hesitant at first to take it as if he thought the letter for her.
She wanted to get up and let him read his letter in peace but that would have been just rude of her to get up and walk away. So she sat and waited until he had finished it.
He looked at her then and asked about their next brightstone trip.

Andromeda thought for a moment.
"It's actually just in a few days" she told him, "Are you going then? To Brightstone I mean?"

"Yeah,I dont have permission, but I think now I will gt it."he said with a smirk. He hoped that this lady would actually be his god mother and give him permission.

He took out his quill and ink bottle from his bag and scribbled down something behind the letter.
Dear Godmother,
I need a signed letter from my guardian to go to Brightstone village.I was wondering if you could write one?

Yours
Andrew

Andrew was not quite sure if she would do it but if she signed it,then she wouldn't be playing a joke.

"Great. I don't think I'll be going myself unless my mother decides to forward me some money but I can live in hope I guess", she smiled noticing how Andrews demeanour had changed because of this letter. She hoped it was good news, Andromeda really did hate people she knew getting the bad kind.

The same owl hooted back into the Great hall and landed beside Andrew.
I, Mallory Malkin give Andre Bruke,Slytherin first year permission to visit Brighstone Village during school trips.
and another small cheat was attached to it.
I will be there so dont worry about money

"Popular?"said Andrew still beliwered by what had just happened,"No,its just some lady claiming that I am her godson."he said casually.

"Claiming? you mean you don't know your own godmother?" she asked him, she knew she hadn't seen hers until she had gotten her letter to Hogwarts and come to Daigan alley but at least she had been told about her.

"Well......"Andrew started,"I am an orphan you see,so I have never known any of my family."he explained. He didnt really know what had happened, why his mother had died and he really wanted to know.

"Oh Andrew I am sorry" she told him sincerely, "That must have been hard growing up. Did you have to stay in an orphanage or were you fostered to different families? I'm sorry I'm been rude and nosey". She bit her lip and couldn't even begin to imagine what kind of life that must have been like, an orphan!

"Its okay."said Andrew with a sigh."I was staying in an orphanag. It was horrible. I didnt have any friends and every one thought I was a freak. There were sometimes when my powers showed and they were scared. It was really how I myself used to freak out.But then I got used to it."
