Having the benefit of knowing the next recipients older brother, Kylie had asked him where Xavier was normally found. Although it was against the rules to go into The Forbidden Forest she now knew that the young Hufflepuff was often found there to play with some bugs. She didn't tell her Ravenclaw friend that she thought his brother was a little strange for that but she also didn't particularly mind either. They were just bugs at the end of the day. She might be more worried for him if he was doing this in Australia where half of the animals and bugs could kill you. Kylie walked down to the forests edge and looked along the outside for a boy hunched over and she called his name out, "Xavier!" She tried again. "Xavier!" Although he might not actually be there she kept walking anyway. Just in case.

Having roses delivered to him earlier that morning put a positive spin on Xavier's day. He felt loved and also as if his kindness was recognized around the school as kindness came naturally to him however occasionally it was a task. Some people just weren't naturally as nice as him after all and that was the reason he preferred to spend time around is hufflepuff friends. Xavier had made his way to his usual spot in the forbidden forest after receiving both his roses, thinking he wouldn't receive any more and his valentine's celebrations were over for the day. Fortunately for Xavier, he soon heard someone calling his name and turned to see an unfamiliar face. He stood up from the spot in the ground he was digging for worms and dusted his hands on his shorts as he walked over to them. "Another Rose?" He asked, assuming that was the case as this was the only day so many students he did not know had called for his attention.

Kylie managed a small grin as she looked at the young Hufflepuff who had dirt all over his hands, even a little on his face. "You're Xavier?" she asked, her accent strong. She couldn't see the resemblance to Isaiah at all but still she knew well enough from his stories of his bug loving brother to assume he would be so daring as to dig through the earth in the forest where he could very well get detention for doing so. Or worse. She fiddled with the yellow rose, which had carefully been stripped of thorns, and the note attached to it from a boy she remembered selling the rose to because he had such an uncommon name.

"I am Xavier." Xavier said to answer the girl's question. He noticed the rose in her hand, glad he was right in assuming there was another rose for him. It was such a surprise to receive another rose, as he'd already received four from his friends. This would be his fifth rose for the day. "That is for me?" He asked the older girl as he dusted his hands on his shorts a second time so he didn't accidentally transfer dirt to her hands when she finally handed him the rose.

Kylie took note of the strange way the boy had pronounced his name but said nothing of it because she had already fumbled on it without thinking. Sometimes English was hard, after all. She smiled as he asked if the rose was for him and she said, "Of course. Someone clearly thought you're a great bug catcher." This was really all she had caught from Isaiah on the subject of Xavier before she had run off to find him happily. Now she stood with the rose extended to him and the note from the boy with the odd name in the other.
