Dederick stood at the end of the pier, down by a local village next to his school. He had a bottle of whiskey fist in his right hand, the dirty blonde pick up drinking soon after he turn seventeen. His father would've been proud of him for becoming the man that he was, his mom really not so much. She practically disagree with everything he did or say. The reason why he was here instead of that suffering jail house known as a school. He purchase a boat house with the very little money his father left him. It was sh!tty all over. The boat motor needed some work, the furniture needed to be replace, everything was close to rot. Still he got and work on it all winter.
He waited for someone to come over. Dederick had sent a quick invitation to Magnus and Marcus. He didn't expect the younger boys to show up. Not with their history still fresh on their mind. Trust issue was a thing amongst the three males. He didn't trust him, it went the other way back. Suits them. He was giving them a chance to be mates, one of many things that Dederick lack. He waited for some sign of them, his boat stayed attach to the dock. The weather felt better, everything oh so okay.

He had been bored. His whole day had consisted of doing nothing in his room, and he couldn't stand to simply lie around for one more second. That was the sole reason he had decided to show up today. And as he neared the dock, he knew that he had made the right decision. The fresh air was nice, and getting some exercise wasn't too bad either. When he saw the older boy though, he had to fight back the urge to turn around and walk the other way. He still didn't have very fond thoughts of Dederick, especially considering that their last two encounters had ended in fights. Maybe it would be different this time though? One could only hope...

The first thing he had noticed about Dederick was the bottle of whisky. It brought back memories of when Magnus was younger... A bottle of whisky was the only way he could sleep back then. Life on the streets was tough, and you did whatever it took to forget about the crap and shut your eyes for a while. He even remembered the first time he got drunk.. he was 10. Not exactly legal, but back then he didn't do much that was legal.

He walked up beside the bigger boy and held out his hand for the bottle. He wasn't even sure what the legal drinking age in Europe was, it wasn't important to him. "I'm not gonna lie; the alcohol back in America is a whole lot better than the crap here." He said jokingly in greeting. He gave the boy a friendly smile, determined to make it through one day without getting in a fight.

"Well this will p!ss your pants. I added my own bit of recipe to it" he gave the boy the bottle. It was nice to know he won't be the only one hitting the bottles this afternoon. It made him more connected to Magnus more than ever. Maybe there was a history drinking inn Magnus life he didn't know at all. Dederick had no reason, but of the moon. Drinking the potion every month to tame the best inside wreck his body every time. The harsh drink kept the feeling at bay.

"No Marcus than? Pity that little runt was growing on me" he walk right onto the pier, his boots hit every board that made the dock's stable. He stop middle of it, where his boat was latch by a rope against the pier. "What ya think?" he pointed at the stern of the boat. It was freshly painted and look decent really. "Bought it for a pretty penny" he said bit bragging. His plans were to go out, not alone. He still felt discourage to sail out alone. Brought back the memories of his father when he was thirteen, two different places but still alone. He went onto sit besides the boat, the thought was chilling, yet he mask it away. Magnus didn't need to see him acting all prissy like, after all he did invited him over.

delete or ignore... I have got to start paying more attention to what im doing...

Magnus didn't bother asking what was so special about the drink. It wasn't worth it, as long as it gave him a bit of a buzz he would drink anything. Maybe he was an alcoholic? Nah, he could quit drinking whenever he felt like it... He just never felt like quitting. He took a swig from the bottle, enjoying the bitter taste of the drink. It was definitly better than most of the crap here.

He chuckled when Dederick called Marcus a runt. He was pretty tiny and he had to admit that he had also come to like the guy. He was a bit dissappointed that the boy wouldn't be joining them, he hadn't see him in a while. Magnus turned his attention to the boat that Dederick was so proud of. Honestly, Magnus didn't see what was so special about it. Maybe it was just the city kid in him, but a boat was a boat. There was nothing special or different about any of them. But the bigger boy seemed so proud of it though so Magnus just said, "Sweet. Did you have to do any work on it?" It was just idle conversation to him, he had no idea what sort of work a boat required, he had never even been on a boat...

Dederick nodded. "Yeah, a lot of work. It was sh!t before, now it's pretty decent" as he spoke, his eyebrow frown at how frustrating the experiences of working with a muggel boat. They may know magic, but you need to like to know what kinda magic and detail just about everything. "Still crap, but runs. It gets me places and it's home now" he watch his words. There's just the way he's always distant made him not speak more than what Magnus needed not to know. "Ready to run it? I need me fawking crew man" Dederick invited him. There was more booze inside the boat to convince Magnus to come.

OOCOut of Character:
It's alright xD

He wondered what the bigger boy meant by 'it's home now', but he knew better than to ask. Everyone had their secrets that they wanted to keep. And as long as Dederick didn't pry into his secrets; Magnus would leave Dederick's secrets alone as well.

When Dederick suggested going for a boat ride, every part of Magnus was screamed at him to stay off of that boat. These two boys had a history of attacking one another, so being stranded on a boat together did not seem like a great idea. But the alcohol was calling to him. Magnus hadn't drank since since the incident that had landed him in juvie... and admittedly he missed it. And maybe having a bit of a buzz would allow him to get along with the bigger boy. It couldn't hurt to try atleast. So Magnus chuckled at Dedericks comment and answered, "Sure, i dont gaurantee how helpful I'll be though."

"It's not science mate, you just turn the keys and let the engine to the rest" he said smirking at him. There's possible that the engine won't work, but eh he could use magic to get out of any situation. Poor dad didn't have that option, he was buried in his own grave. "Climb on in when your ready" he step into the stern, one foot at a time and lower himself easily onto the boat. Any idiot can use magic for every freaking little thing, Dederick wasn't trying to do without it. He learn soon after magic just another excuse, dad din't have it so why live your life depending what may kill you in return. He pace the back of the boat and sat down to chill.

Weather outside still cold as hell. He wore gloves to keep his palm warm, his gloves sported holes within each finger slot. If it got ant worst, like the weather picking up, they can always go inside the boat. It be all awkward, being that close in. With the present of booze what can go wrong anyways? Plus he desire to tour around the local main area of the village, not go out to sea like a nutter.

He watched as the bigger boy effortlessly stepped into the boat. It didn't look like a difficult task, but when Magnus tried to follow suit he found himself struggling. He wasn't expecting the boat to shift so much under his weight, so when he took his first step into the boat he quickly lost his balance. He grabbed the edge in an attempt to regain control, but the boat continued to shift. In a last ditch effort to avoid falling into the water, he swung his other leg into the boat. His toe caught on the edge of the boat though, tripping him and sending him stumbling across the boat. Slowly, he regained his composure and balance and he finally stood on the boat. He looked at Dederick, praying that he hadn't seen the extremely graceful entrance.

"I sure hope you can get this thing to run because there is no way I'm getting out after all the effort it took to get in..." He said jokingly, laughing at himself at the same time. He seriously needed a drink now. A bit of alcohol would definitly allow him to get along with Dederick and also to forget about how inept he was with boats.

Dederick stood there watching, amused. It took the boy quite a rought to just getinto the boat. "Hey it's a first time for everything it seems" he took out a flask and took a long sip of Jack Daniels. After that show, Dederick past the silver flask to the boy and went on up the boat's steering wheel. He entered the key inside the ignition and gave the boat a minute or two to start up. The motor stalls sometimes, meaning he had to give it sometimes to start itself. When he hear that squeak coming from the motor, it shook than resume to a loud roar.

"How's that?" he holler. "You think we can make to the bridge or will it sink?" he ask, amused. He was just kidding around with Magnus. Anything to say to sh!t his pants, he'll say it. He was betting the boy won't last long.

OOCOut of Character:
Sorry it's late >_< and dull !

Magnus grabbed the flask and took a swallow of the bitter fluid. How he had missed the feeling of being tipsy... He had cleaned up his act for his auntie but there were some things that he could never completely erase about his past. When the boy mentioned the boat sinking, he just took another swig from the bottle. Alcohol tended to make him brave and stupid and right now, that was exactly what he needed. He needed to forget how much he sucked with boaats, how much he hated the bigger boy, how shitty he was at swimming... Another swig and all those thoughts were lost.

He looked at the bigger boy and jokingly said, "I think i might have to finish the rest of this, you shouldn't be drinking and driving." He followed this with a smile and a lugh because he didnt expect the boy to take him seriously, Magnus didn't take it seriously atleast. Laws didn't apply to Magnus, they hadn't for a long time.

The day was starting out drunk. Dederick smirk at the boy, he was really enjoying the drinking contest they were having, except Magnus didn't have a clue he was taking part of it. "Man what are your talking about? We need more than that !" he sped with the engine roaring, breaking the silence of the village atmosphere. Those who were out and about did their duty in scowling at the boys causing such a ruckus. "Aye this ain't PBS kids!" he flip the bird at those authorities. Sometimes Dederick just acted straight up like a kid, he laughed. Than choke at his laughed, he passed by a couple screwing in public. This little village needs to be exploited.

"Hey, hey get the pack on the inside" he handed Magnus a pair of set of keys. They were silver and weirdly crested to fit just this about. "Just go in there mate and bring out something food, I'm fawking starving" skipping to eat to drink, was stupid on his part. Magnus better be ready to seem him spewing. "I'm going to make a stop soon, need to pick someone up and a few birds" code word slores.

He liked this side of Dederick, the side that didn't give a damn. It made Magnus feel as though he could relax and let his good boy facade drop. He could get as drunk as he wanted, yell as loudly as he could, and swear like it was nobody's business. He could act the way he had before his aunt had come into the picture. He hadn't tasted freedom like this in ages, and he was going to enjoy it while it lasted. He noticed the couple too and he couldnt help but chuckle quietly. Was it really so hard to find a room? Or maybe the little village was just so lame that screwing in public was their way of living a little... The difference between this small village and Brooklyn was outstanding sometimes.

When the bigger boy tossed Magnus his keys, he was slightly confused. Obviously Dederick sensed his confusion as he quickly told him what to do with the keys. Magnus didn't understand why the boy figured it was a good idea to eat if you were planning on getting slammed, he would only vomit eveything back up. But Magnus had learnt not to disagree with the boy so he just turned to go get the food, bringing his flask with him. At this point, the flask was about half empty.

By the time he got back with the food, the flask was finished. Magnus was feeling the effects of the alcohol already, but he didn't care at all. He handed the boy his food saying, "Don't you dare throw that up on me." Magnus hadn't grabbed anything to eat for himself because he simply wanted to get as plastered as he could as fast as he could, and the best way to accomplish that was with an empty stomach. "So where are we stopping?" he asked, simply hoping that wherever they stopped there would be more to drink.

Perched on a dock, waiting for the arrival of an acquaintance he had organised to meet with earlier in the week, with three less than reputable girls by his side stood Aiden Springfield. When the sixteen year old met Dederick, his first impression of the other teen was that he wasn't one to obey the rules. Aiden did not have the appearance of somebody who obeyed any form of rule, his eyeliner, messy jet black hair and tattooed body said that he was the kind of person to party, and party hard at that. When in all in good conscience, Aiden was a conformist, he didn't want to cause harm to anybody else or himself, and to ensure this, he needed to follow the rules. In fact, the only reason the sixteen year old had even agreed to meet with Dederick in the first place was because he did not want to get on his bad side. Aiden knew that if it meant meeting up with him, with a few girls who had lost their way, then so be it. It was a fluke he had met all three girls, the blonde one to his right had hit on him straight up, the redhead next to her was her friend, and he honestly didn't remember how the brunette ended up being next to him. It seemed as if she had appeared out of nowhere. The wizard shielded his lined eyes from the sun by holding up a tattooed arm, hopefully Dederick would arrive soon, Aiden didn't know how much longer he could stand within the awkward silence between him and the girls next to him.

Luckily for the aspiring musician, he could see the outline of a boat coming towards him, although he couldn't tell if it was in fact Dederick, the glare caused by the bright afternoon sun made it unable for the teenager to tell. Aiden was quietly hoping the whole meeting up with Dederick ordeal would be quickly over and done with. The sixteen year old wasn't the kind of person to party, at all. But Aiden knew he had to keep up his charade, it was all too late to back out now that the boat was in front of him and the girls were now boarding it. It was a tad shocking how quickly everything seemed to be passing Aiden by; he needed to focus on the situation in order to keep up his act, so he could stay in the green. "Afternoon." Said the adolescent as he nodded at Dederick and the other Durmstrang student that was on board. Aiden pretty much instantly sat down in the nearest place he could sit. He hadn't drunk anything all day and the heat radiating from the sun was making his dehydration worse. The sixteen year old knew he must have looked pathetic, somebody who seemed so hardcore shouldn't be taken down by something like dehydration. He stood up and walked over to the blonde girl who had been eyeing him while they were waiting for the boat and wrapped an arm around her, in order to keep up appearances, Aiden had to act like he knew what to do around girls, and surely an arm around the blonde was enough.

"I said get a sick packs, what the hell is this?" Dederick rant to Magnus. he did order the food, but without the booze and alcoholic drink, what the hell was the food going to do for him. Though he grasp for a sandwich and gave control of the boat to Magnus. "You take over the boat, while I go inside, keep steering around and than you'll see who we be picking up" he moved in between the steering wheel, it was pain in the arse to move when you were lightly intoxicated already. he gave up the wheel and hop over the deck to walk freely and into his the boat. In his small spacious, cold refrigerator he had a few liquor bottle, half emptied some full. He grabd a few, and as he walked out he felt a jolt and jitters. "Magnus, dock the boat !" Dederick descended out of the boat and saw Aiden with a bunch of bimbo's crowding the tall teen. The all rocker dude, was the weirdest most socially awkward miscrient Dederick's has ever met. It was like he live and breathe musician, but he had no clue how to abuse the power of his man glow.

"Hello, hello" he tip his bottle up and handed Aiden a bottle as he came on board. Brunette, blonde and a cheery hair. He saw that Aiden had enough sense to bring anything trashy on board. But the trashier the better. "Cheers mate" he went back to the stern and took hold of the boat. He struggle to say anything but cuss and swear like he always did when he was inserted to instant crowd of six people including himself. If there was anyone who was socially awkward was Dederick. His four walls of friends had broke down and became friends of friends, now he was on board with four strangers, except Magnus. "What you guys feeling for? Get to drinking till you puke a lung out" The cherry took eyes for Dederick, apparently his out burst call to her. So she made space for her own by the steering wheel and started a full blown conversation with Dee on erotic animals.
OOCOut of Character:
Sorry it's weird xD

Yes. What a brilliant idea, giving a buzzing Magnus the control of a machine that he had never even been on before. He was too drunk to even care about Dederick's pestering, he simply just shrugged it off. He watched as the bigger boy stalked off before he turned back to the wheel. He decided to treat it like a car, grabbing the wheel and turning it in the direction he wanted to go. In his slightly intoxicated state, he was pretty impressed with his boat steering skills. He saw the sketchy looking boy near a dock and instantly knew that this was their buddy. He pointed the boat in his direction and brought the boat as close as he dared. He couldn't help but laugh when Dederick told him to dock the boat. He certainly had high expetations for Magnus considering his current state and his inexperience with boats. He did the best that he could though, turning the engine off once he reached the edge of the dock.

He followed Dederick but didn't try to exit the boat, as he remebered how difficult it was for him to get on it in the first place. So he just leaned on the edge of the boat and watched the exchange between the boys. He glanced at the girls, noting the selection. He had been with girls like them before so he thought he knew exactly what he was getting into. He didnt move as the other 5 filed past him, he just continued to look out at the land. Oh how he longed to have solid unmoving ground beneath his feet...

When he looked back at the others, he noticed that they had all been paired off. By process of elimination he was stuck with the brunette. Not that this was a bad thing, personally Magnus thought the brunette was the cutest of the bunch. As he made his way over to her, he felt confident. Alcohol had that effect on him. He asjed the girl if she wanted a drink and then led her into the cabin where the alcohol was. Magnus definitly did feel like getting drunk until he threw up today...

Being on a boat wasn't and would never be a problem for Aiden. Feeling queasy was not foreign for the wizard, he had grown used to having the feeling of butterflies in his stomach, it happened before he performed a song, not on stage per say, as the teen hadn't had the chance to perform to any kind of large audience, he mostly wrote songs by himself, and showed people when he thought they were good enough. Aiden grew nervous whenever he had to play a song he had just written. The thought of messing it up would always allow him to make a mistake; it seemed he always played his best whenever he was alone, away from eavesdropping ears. It was just something else he needed to get over in order to achieve his musical goals, no matter how absurd they sounded sometimes, he knew deep down he was going to make it in the music industry, and whoever thought different would be begging him for an autograph or a photo in a few years time anyway, that and pretending to be his friend. "Thanks." Replied the rocker, as he took the bottle of alcohol his school mate had ever so kindly handed to him. Aiden Springfield had never been a drinker, he wasn't even old enough to drink, but he needed to party at one point or another, to get it out of his system before his music shoved him into the faces of managers and record company heads that would judge him at a first glance. The sixteen year old took a sip from the bottle, not knowing what type of alcohol it was, and throwing caution to the wind in a sense.

The adolescent continued to sip from his bottle, feeling everything gradually turn fuzzy at the edges, if that was what being drunk was like, Aiden wouldn't have minded getting drunk again, his mouth was dry, and everything felt like a creepily realistic dream in a way. It started to make so much more sense as to why people drank in the first place, now that he was experiencing everything himself. What happened next was partially expected by the adolescent, but he had chosen to ignore all possibility it could happen, as he was focusing too much on his drinking, not a good idea on Aiden's part as the blonde on his arm started kissing him, she obviously needed help, because they had only met not an hour earlier, or maybe it was more than an hour. The Durmstrang student respected women, he had lived his whole life that way, and he wasn't fond of girls who had no respect for themselves, and the blonde girl certainly did not respect herself in the least. If Aiden didn't have any alcohol in him, he would have pushed her away from him, but Aiden did have alcohol in his system, so he kissed the girl back without so much as a hesitation. "Where's the rest of it?" Aiden shouted to Dederick, after breaking away from his make out session with the blonde and realising his bottle, was in fact empty. This was the first time Aiden had drank any form of alcohol, so he didn't know his limits, which was probably the main reason he was feeling the effects brought on by alcohol set in so early.
