Being at Hogwarts New Zealand plagued lonliness all throughout Alexis Marie. She missed Izaak terribly, Bella and even Casey but most of all she missed the young man she knew was the love of her life and her disease, her problem, her drug, her Zaire. She had gotten used to his vulgar attitude and even missed it during their time apart but now she was the one leaving. She was acting so cowardly and knew this. Zaire was her best friend and she left him to try to emotionally deal with Elliot in jail and try to support Avrille. She loved him but wasn't there for him, it didn't make sense. What kind of twisted logic was she using? she asked herself.

Almost everything, Alexis shared with Izaak Finch and what she didn't or couldn't she told Zaire and he willingly swallowed it, and got her back to her normal self. She would never been good enough for anyone, not even someone as twisted and complex as she. Caden had been too good for her and now only time would tell when Izaak would realize that he was better than she was, that she had problems that he didn't have to deal with. She even felt 'Z' was too good for her, despite the similarities between the two. But the point of being at this school was to get a hold of her emotions, to be happy with what she had with her lover and not to dwell on what she now knew would never happen.

Alexis' current mind frame was nothing more than the affect of poor choices of words and poor timing. Trying not to focus on these thoughts and feelings, she rubbed her hazel eyes lazily with the back-side of her fingers, but her mind seemed to want to torment her.

Life was unfair and love does stink she thought while straightening her rose-gold strands of hair. Alexis had no plans today, due to not knowing anyone at this new school. To her, it felt like there was no one that was willing to talk to her, or even recognize that she was alive at this bloody school.and it caused her much frustration and brought her to the dark place she currently was in, mentally.

Finally, Alexis' hair was straight so she changed into a pair of skinny jeans, a striped top and a soft blue sweater over top. While flattening the outfit down, her hazel irises were hidden behind her droopy, tired lid. It was clear that, since her departure, she had gotten little sleep from guilt of leaving Zaire and the pain it brought her to think of what the consequences of her actions were. Her orbs were closed for much longer than that of a normal blink and when they opened she felt a pain of disappointment in the pit of her stomach when she didn't see her drug stranding before her.

Sighing, Alexis slipped on a pair of black boots on and left her new dorm room, of course after checking her make up in the body length mirror. She walked on, like a lifeless drone, through the corridors, not exactly realizing if she was going up or down, until she found herself between the brisk breeze of the outside. She found her way surprisingly well, despite only getting a tour of the castle once and paying little attention during it. She walked towards down the steps, and sat down on them, to the right side of the steps. She rested her cheek against the granite pillar. It felt harsh against her soft cheek and a few of the protruding pieces actually hurt her, but she held her position, almost enjoying the pain she was experiencing because it meant that she was able to feel what she deserved.

Kiera was heading down to the Cliffs to study. As the days passed, she was getting more and more stressed out about the NEWTs with each passing day. Kiera had chosen today to study Charms. It was her goal for the year to make a successful patronus like she had seen James do. Kiera had been extremely impressed by it and wanted to master it for herself.

With that plan in mind, Kiera left the Gryffindor tower. She was dressed in a muggle outfit that complimented her small frame nicely. As she walked out of the castle, she found her new roommate outside. Kiera walked up to the girl. "Hey Alexis. What are you up to?" she asked in a friendly voice.
