The previous two Halloween feasts were a bust for Archie, with the one in his fourth year completely taken over with protest planning and the one in his fifth year overshadowed by his family problems. Luckily Archie was not near as burdened that year and spent much of his time in the week leading up to the Halloween feast putting together the best rock star costume he could, with left over material from second hand clothes, cheap wigs from brightstone and using only muggle magazines as a reference. His and Orwell's costumes were now completely finished and Archie wore his skin-tight jeans and leopard print shirt with pride as he stepped into the great hall.
The blonde wig on his head left something to be desired, however and as proud as Archie was he could not help but constantly adjust the placement of the wig on his head and the bandana holding it down. He made his way to the snacks table, his chain belt jingling and the heels of his shoes tapping the stone floor with every one of his steps. Immediately Archie pulled his sunglasses off, hanging them on the pocket of his shirt before he dug his hands to one of the bowls of candy. The one in particular he reached into was full of bubblegum and he smiled to himself as he picked up a handful of the tiny bubblegum pieces, unwrapping them and popping them into his mouth one by one, wanting to make the biggest bubble he could merely for the sake of it. It wasn't the smartest decision but it was all he could do when Orwell was busy with other Halloween things which unfortunately left the Gryffindor to his own devices.
