The realisation of being at a new school surrounded by new things was a bit overwhelming for Lilyanna. The huge change in routine had slightly confused her but she was glad that she was finally able to start learning new things for her future. She knew that soon she'd be able to get used to the new routine, even if it was going to take her a whole year, but she also knew she was going to eventually be fine. Lilyanna's favourite place so far was definitely the Library and she had quickly learnt how to get from the Slytherin dormitories to the fourth floor in no time. The library was the quietest place in the castle as far as she knew so there would hopefully be no disturbances from her studying. She already knew how annoying some of her classmates were going to be and was quite disappointed that she wasn't able to go to the same school her mother went to in France. If there was ever a chance that Lilyanna could change schools to that one then she'd definitely take it. The students that go to that school were far more mature and were hopefully friendlier.

Taking a good breath of fresh air, she made her way over to the giant shelves of books. She had never seen so many in her lifetime and it was going to take her ages to read every single one of them. Hopefully she'd be able to finish them before leaving the school. She quickly grabbed one of the thinner books and made her way over to the nearest vacant table. She wasn't too sure what the book she was reading was about but read it anyway, hoping to learn something from it. Her eyes scanned each word in the book as she tried to comprehend it. It was something to do with advanced Herbology and she was very confused. The new plant names were interesting though and hopefully she was going to be able to learn them all during her lessons this year. She turned each page carefully to not rip them and continued reading. Maybe she should've picked an easier book to read.

Zared sighed heavily as he made his way through the mostly still empty library, he wasn't really looking for any particular book and was push books to the ground as he passed them, forcing other students to pick them up, he'd wanted some light school reading, something to do while Lestat went on and on about his next victim or something to that effect, after all as much as Zared liked the guy this was his first friend in possibly ever and he wasn't exactly ready to just dive all in with him, Zared loved every minute of silence that he got, rarely opting to speak at this point if he needed to, and though he was coming to enjoy the weirdness of his friend, and definitely enjoy the just pure blunt occasional evil of him. But there always came a time when Zared needed time alone and he'd sought out the solace of the library but this had proved to be pointless.

Since he wasn't looking for any book in particular, his aimless wandering had just made him more bored than before and really that was a mistake and a half, it was stupid, it was just leading to him essentially throwing books on to the floor and listening to the little thump they gave as they hit the ground, he wondered how much he could do before he got caught, and the young slytherin moved into a new second of the library, where he spotted just a singular girl whom he knew from his house sat at a table reading some books, she looked like studious type, but really, Zared didn't care, he just continued what he was doing, picking books off the shelf and then dropping them on to the ground, there was nothing fun in this, it was pointless and a little stupid, but he was bored, and without classes to drive him he was making his own fun.

Lilyanna's reading was disrupted when she heard a loud thump coming from nearby. Quickly looking up she noticed a boy that didn't look much older than she was who thought that it was fun to make a mess of the library. She stood up abruptly and felt her face go red from anger. "Hey, leave those books alone!" she shouted. How did he think he was able to get away with that? Where was the librarian? How did the librarian think this behaviour was acceptable? "What did those books even do to you? Why are you being so rude?" She took a deep breath, trying to keep her anger in. If there was one thing that she wanted to control at Hogwarts, it was her anger. She didn't want people to think she was some sort of angry monster who liked to bite people's heads off. No, that was definitely not her.

Marching over to the fallen books, she carefully placed them back in the shelf. "There." she said simply, wiping her hands on her robes. Merlin knows what kind of disease this boy had and she didn't want it to carry over to her. "Now, if you don't mind, I am going to continue reading." Walking back over to the table, she sat back down in the chair and continued with what she was doing, hoping the boy was just going to leave her alone.

Zared glanced around at the girl who started yelling and as soon as she'd finished her first statement telling him to leave the books alone, he just let out a long shush, dismissing what she said and placing a finger on his lips to highlight the fact he was telling her to be quiet, after all, Zared was creating a mess, but he was also pretending to take the slight moral high ground that at least he hadn't been creating a mess, or too much of a mess. The boy just listened along to what she was saying, but the slytherin boy just stared at her, his gaze following where she was going, as she did essentially march over to the books he had dropped and placing them back where they were supposed to be, it seemed pointless and really Zared had found that he was going to enjoy annoying her further. Usually Zared would not actively do something of the sort, usually he kept himself occupied in a different slightly less odd way, but this time around the boy was just looking for something to do.

Once the girl had sat back down, Zared just walked slightly closer to where she was sitting and turned back to the books on the shelf, pulling out three at once and then dropping all three on the floor, before doing the same twice more, though on those occasions with only two books each, not caring about the books, since he knew magic could fix them, and really any mess he created could be cleaned up by magic, perhaps this girl was one of the dirty bloods, unaware of how much magic could do. Zared took another book from the shelf and held in by the tips of his fingers, having turned to face the girl who'd just picked the rest of them up, waiting to see if she would react first or if the book in his hand would fall to the ground before she did. Something told him, the girl was going to start shouting again, and really Zared couldn't wait to tell her to be quiet again.

Usually when Lilyanna became angry she would resort to violence. If it wasn't for the fact that they were in a library full of precious books or the fact that she was now at school and could possibly get into trouble for it, she did not do such thing. Instead, she slammed the book shut and looked up at the boy who had now purposefully dropped three books onto the floor and another two and another two. She knew very well that he was doing it just to annoy Lily but Lily was far more than annoyed and started to get the urge to kill the boy. But she kept reminding herself that that was not the good way to end all her problems and therefore needed to find another way.

As calm as she could, she tried her best to rationalize with him. "Can you please leave me alone? There is no reason to be annoying me right now and I would very much appreciate it if you walked away before I go and get a professor, and I'm sure you don't want to be in trouble on the first week of school, do you?" She looked at him with eyebrows raised, waiting for an answer. This was usually what adults did whenever they knew the answer to a question but wanted you to answer it. Although, this time Lilyanna was unsure how he'd react. After all, he sure seemed like the rebellious type and probably didn't even care if Lilyanna went and summoned their head of house. But if he thought that it was alright to mess with Lilyanna then he was definitely wrong.

It was exactly the reaction he had been hoping for the threat of a professor, and the boy just tutted at her, as if to say, pathetic, since he did think that running to a professor was exactly that, pathetic. He just let her say all that she wanted to say, letting the silence wash over them, and he then smirked at her, letting his eyes linger on her for a few moments before he took a few steps back and then turned to the book shelf, glancing over all the books, tracing a finger over it as if he was looking for a specific book, when in fact he was just trying to annoy the girl further, since it really seemed like an easy enough task to do. If all he'd done so far was drop a couple of books and that brought out this, he couldn't help but think of all of the possibilities they might have in the years to come, all of the occasions he would have to annoy this one specific girl, and already on his mind was telling Lestat about her.

Finally the boy picked a book, he took it out and then held it in his hands before glancing back at the girl, and motioning between the book in his hands and her, before then just dropping the book down in front of himself and in the gap between them, the smirk returned to his face and he cocked his head a little inviting her to react, deciding that while he wasn't looking to make any friends, annoying people definitely was fun, Lestat was definitely right about that, and though Zared didn't think he would do it, overly often, he did think that it would be fun to do when he didn't have classes or things to do.

Lilyanna hadn't made any friends at Hogwarts yet and she knew that this was probably the exact reason why. There were too many people that had no common sense at this school and people that behaved like the boy did deserved to be locked up and executed. Of course, he hadn't done anything illegal but the matter should at least be taken to hand. To her it was the only way to solve her problem despite something in the back of her mind telling her not to think in such way. After all, she knew that she wasn't the nicest person on the planet and she couldn't think of any other way to fix it. There were no professors in sight which also infuriated her but not even the professors could fix her raging temper.

He tutted at Lilyanna and she knew that if he didn't go away soon then the outcome was not going to be pretty. He didn't say a word to her yet which was probably for the better. Could he even speak? Maybe he was mute? Lilyanna hadn't ever met a mute person before. She watched as he pretended to look through each of the books, perhaps to find the right one and Lilyanna wondered what he was going to do until he took one out and then purposefully dropped it on the ground between them again. Instantly, with her face as hot as ever, Lilyanna kicked the chair away from behind her and marched over to where the boy was standing, kicking him squarely in the groin. Her father told her that if ever a boy was threatening her and she wanted them to go away she would have to kick them in that exact spot and then it would give her some time to run away before they had a chance to grab her again. But Lilyanna was not going to run away and simply wanted to watch him suffer. According to her father, the action was indeed magical without the use of magic.

Zared knew he was probably really pushing it with this girl, but he didn't care much, it was still fun, he was still enjoying himself, and to Zared that was all that matter, that he was enjoying himself, or well, more that he just wasn't bored any more. This was enjoyment to him, and he was just annoying this girl, making a mental note to remember her for the future when he could suggest to Lestat to have her as a target which made him smile slightly thinking of the fun that Lestat might have with this girl, and that he would do little to stop. He cocked his head a little as she got up and looked at him just as he dropped the book in front of her, which seemed to have the desired effect of making the girl truly livid.

He watched in fascination as the girl looked at him kicking the chair away from herself, maybe she was going to just leave which would ruin his fun, it would make her leave, but he would've succeeded in chasing her from the library, that itself was a slight achievement. But as he waited, he noticed the way she walked and just barely managed to jump away as she went to kick him right in his manhood, Zared had a look of surprise on his face as he glanced between the leg and the girl in front of him, and he then cocked his head a little and a smirk formed on his face, maybe she had a little more balls than he'd first though, but Zared just turned around and grabbed another book, the first that he could find, holding it more like a cricket bat than anything, pretending to aim it for her head as he slowly moved it like a bat. He then just looked between the book and her, as if suggesting what he might do with the book.

Lilyanna smirked as she saw the boy's facial expression change to a look of surprise. She was tougher than she looked so perhaps she was getting somewhere with him. She knew she was going to have to tell someone about this rude boy and thought that perhaps they should have a whole subject devoted on having manners at this school. After all, this boy wasn't the first Lilyanna had met that had been rude to her so she must suggest it to someone as soon as possible, not that many people would be doing their homework anyway. She watched as the boy picked up a book behind him and indicated that he was going to use it as weapon. Books were not supposed to be weapons unless they needed to be but they should only be used defensively and should be used in no way that would ever harm the book. She was sure that books had feelings. After all, who would ever like to be swung in the air and used as a baseball bat?

"Go on then." she mumbled with her arms folded, waiting for the boy to make his move. She would accept him hitting her on the head as she did just kick him but there was also nothing so could do to stop him. There were no professors on sight so no one would be able to get either of them into trouble anyway. On top of that, she had a pretty thick skull and if she did have to make a trip to the hospital wing then the boy would be the one getting into the most trouble. Admittedly, Lilyanna was slowly giving up and her lack of patience wasn't helping.

Zared wasn't really going to hit her with the book, but he was surprised when she barely flinched at him, this girl had something in her that just wasn't afraid of what he might do, it was almost more fun than someone who might cower away, someone who would be scared of him and therefore do nothing but duck and cover. The slytherin looked between the book in his hands and the girl, and then just stopped what he was doing with it, and promptly just dropped it on the floor. Not at all talking his eyes off her, opting to just let the resounding thud of the book hitting the floor fill the silence where he might've spoken, but he said nothing more, he did nothing more, just froze on the stop with his hand still outstretched above the fallen book, he wondered what might happen next, but he was definitely curious.

The girl had proved herself to be more than some pathetic first year who was easy to anger, she had some resolve and as he looked over her, he realised that he recognised her slightly, she was in his house, and then it made more sense as to why she acting like she was and the boy found it easy to annoy her too, and he knew from this that she'd make an even better target perhaps for Lestat if he wanted it, someone not too far from where they were, or if not that, even a possible ally, although that would be out if her blood was something less that pure. The boy just smirked at the girl, his head cocked slightly, waiting to see what she might do, waiting to see what the next to happen would be. If she would continue to get annoyed, try and attack him again, or leave.

The boy seemed to change his mind and simply just dropped the book purposefully onto the ground instead of hitting Lilyanna over the head with it. She watched as he did so and slightly jumped, startled at his sudden action. It was the abrupt movement that scared her and she wasn't sure if the boy had planned that all along to make Lilyanna jump. Did this boy even have a plan at all? Everything about the boy made her curious and she wasn't exactly sure why. For one, he hadn't said one word to her this whole time and he seemed to amuse himself in such inappropriate ways which truly made Lilyanna want to hex this guy if she only knew how. One thing she knew for sure was that when she did learn how at least she's found someone to practice on.

"You know what!?" she yelled, losing her patience and throwing her hands up into the air, anger rising even more. At this point she had finally given up and did not feel like wasting her breath telling him to stop anymore. "Why don't we just drop all the books onto the ground?" Suddenly, she picked up one of the books from the bookshelf next to her and dropped it. She then proceeded to drop more and more and more until she eventually gave up and stood there, her face bright red with anger, looking straight at the boy into his dark and evil eyes. If the boy wanted to play some kind of game with her then he was more than welcome too. Besides, these books were old and had probably been at the library from the time it existed. There was a restricted section for a reason and that was to protect the books that actually needed protecting from people like this boy. Who cares if these books ended up getting ruined? Magic could solve everything.

Rebekah had heard enough by skulking behind the shelves in the library. In the aisle next to her Zared Katsaro, was antagonising Lillyanna Hope, the prissy little girl whose twin sister was in Hufflepuff. Rebekah had been collecting information on all her housemates since the sorting ceremony and Zared was an enigma. Not once had she heard him talk, but she knew that him and Lestat were pretty tight. And if they were tight then god help the school.

Her ears perked up at the sound of the girl yelling and a smirk crossed her lips. She peeked around the corner and watched with delight as Lillyanna lost her temper and started throwing books around. Rebekah decided that this was time to reveal herself. "Temper, Temper." she giggled as she turned the corner eyes staring at the smaller girl. "Aw look you've made a mess." She pouted sarcastically as she kicked one of the books out of her way, hoping to get a rise out of the girl as she damaged the books she seemed to love so much. Rebekah stood sort of behind Zared, laughing at the anger on the girls face.

Elysia Styx was reading and doing a homework assignment with one hand, and writing in her journal in her mixed Russian and Bulgarian writing with her left. She was busy, and always remained so. She wanted to remain on top of class. It might not be in her best interest right now, because some of her classes were just boring. She could not be bothered with some of them, but she could not help it. The pressure was heavy on her. Things were going all right with Elysia, having made a few people as friends, if she could give them that generous label. Of course, hers were not as obnoxious as some people, and that was always a relief. While in the back of the library, she heard a commotion going on that sounded like a bunch of books dropping. Her head lifted up for a moment, before thinking nothing of it. Perhaps someone was a klutz. She went back to her studying.

Then it happened, yet again. And some voices this time. Elysia rolled her silvery, green eyes before she slammed her books shut. She packed them into her bag, and placed it around her shoulder. The Ravenclaw made her way to where she believed the sounds were, and there was Lilyanna, standing before one of Lestat’s friends, and some other girl. Elysia stood in a distance for a moment, before finally approaching, observing and calculating the three Slytherins. She saw a bunch of books on the ground, and looked to Zared. She had learned his name since, and then her cold eyes landed on the female, only more antagonizing. She finally narrowed down the prime suspect, which she mainly used her bias against her brother to come to her conclusion. “What did you do, Zared,” Elysia's tone was almost bored, but still sounded had her icy tone to it. She looked to Lilyanna, in case she would pipe up for an explanation as well. She was disturbed while studying, and therefore, she was not impressed.

Zared had pretty much achieved something as he watched the girl begin to take books off the shelf and drop on the ground, if Zared had timed this he would've tried to get a professor to appear at that exact moment and give this other girl into trouble, but this was not what happened, instead he was just left staring with a small smirk on his face at the girl who had lost it with him and his non-antics. Zared still hadn't said anything to this girl, and he felt that this was perhaps what was egging the girl on more than anything else, the fact he just wasn't saying anything, before Zared even had time to do anything, he looked up at the new girl who walked towards them, he didn't know her name nor did he care to know it, just that she was someone in his year and in his house, and he was pretty glad that she seemed to take his side. The slytherin just nodded agreement, looking between the new girl and then the girl he'd been annoying, although the girl took a position behind Zared, if she thought Zared was going to protect her, then she didn't know anything about him.

However, before Zared could even respond to this new situation, another person arrived, and he was faced with Lestat's twin, and her cold tone accusing him of doing something, Zared's smirk faded and his eyes narrowed on the girl in front of him, who did she think she was, they weren't related she couldn't just interrupt him, she hated him he thought and yet here she was getting involved. Zared couldn't understand how his best friend could be related to this frustrating, annoying girl that stood in front of him, she had clearly taken this other girl's side or would take her side given that she'd just accused Zared of doing something. Zared just shrugged at Elysia in response continuing to say nothing having a look of innocence on his face, putting his hands in his pockets and glancing at the girl that he'd been annoying, looking at her waiting for her to provide any explanation as to what had happened here, and he wondered how loyal she would be to him and the slytherin house, or if she would just complain to Elysia and be a little pathetic person whom he was definitely going to tell Lestat about.

Lilyanna's head was spinning and she didn't know what at all she should be feeling at that moment. The chaos of the books dropping onto the floor had made quite some noise which had summoned two people over to where they were standing. The first one Lilyanna had an instant dislike for. As she kicked one of the books aside Lilyanna quickly bent down to pick them all up and placed them neatly back into the shelf to get rid of the evidence. They weren't toys and this girl should really learn how to mind her own business. She laughed at Lilyanna and Lilyanna smirked back at her. What was there to laugh at anyway? The one everyone should really be laughing at was her as she seemed like such a coward hiding behind the boy. It was obvious that she was in Slytherin house and it was people like that that made Lilyanna want to move out of the school as soon as possible.

The second one Lilyanna instantly knew as Elysia. Admittedly, she was glad that she had come over but something also told her that could perhaps be a bad idea at the same time. How did she know the boy, Zared? It had made Lilyanna really suspicious. At least now she knew his name and was able to report him to a professor when she saw one next. Lilyanna watched as Zared simply shrugged his shoulders. After all, she wasn't really expecting much else from him anyway. With a roll of her eyes, Lilyanna spoke up. "Nothing is happening here. It's all good. Sorry to disturb you." she said, sending her a fake smile. She could deal with this herself and didn't feel like getting more people involved. It was just all too much for Lilyanna and if more people tried to get themselves involved then it was most likely just going to turn out horribly.

If it was one thing that made Elysia a little angry, it was when someone wasn’t telling her the truth. As Zared shrugged, and Lilyanna said that nothing was happening, her eyes went down to the books and said with sarcasm, though her voice not much louder than a whisper, “Clearly.” She placed her bag on the floor, and bent down to pick up some of the books. She might have been a Ravenclaw, but she actually did not care for books so much as a mess. As she lifted them, she held out the book, and it floated and put itself away. Elysia put enough away to where there was not so much as a mess, and turned her focus on the Slytherins. She could tell that there was some loyalty there, and wondered if it was because they were loyal to each other, or just scared that her grandfather would find out about this. She folded her arms across her chest, and her mind calculated over what could have happened, and had many possibilities in her mind. She could not possibly know what happened unless she had been here to witness it.

"Your face gave it away. It was red before I arrived. However, the only reason why I bothered to come over here was because you all interrupted my task, and that my brother's minion is involved." She might have known his name, but minion sounded better to her mind than his actual name. She murmured, "I always knew he could pick rotten apples, but never would have thought he would have picked someone handicapped, seeing as you haven't spoken a word." Elysia figured even that won't get him to talk, so she considered her task here just to interrupt, and to place some of the battered books away. She bent down and grabbed her messenger bag, before dubbing most of the Slytherins as a waste of space. Elysia sighed before she walked toward a table within eye distance, and setting her bag down. She pulled out her journal, written in her special way, and the book once more.

It surprised the Slytherin when the other girl whom he had been annoying didn't say a word, and a small smirk graced his lips, a fleeting smirk which almost settled into a small grin had he not stopped it shoving down all those happy feelings and all the possible smiles which might've graced his lips as he looked back at Elysia who seemed to definitely be annoyed first at his lack of conversation but then also at the loyalty which this other girl seemed to have, even though Zared really had been annoying her, it was an odd loyalty which he knew slytherin's had and was more than willing to take advantage of it, since it might in this instance get him out of trouble with her, not that he really cared but he felt like this meant he could trust the girl he was annoying to not tell some professor about this, perhaps she even felt sorry for Zared who had still not said anything the entire time. Zared watched as his friend's sister proceed to pick up some of the books and let the magic put them back, Zared stood his ground but remained silent watching.

It was almost like annoying one girl he'd somehow managed to annoy two, the one who stood on his side behind him wasn't the sort of person who seemed easily annoyed but he was sure that was because she didn't allow herself to get annoyed unlike these two. His gaze shifted between Elysia and the girl, as Elysia began to explain why she'd even gotten involved, his eyebrows were raised when she referred to Zared as her brother's minion, the only way he was a minion was that he helped pick targets Zared hadn't really raised a finger, he rather liked letting Lestat do the work, and he just stood in the background with nothing but maybe the odd suggestion, or even just a book, Lestat didn't mind and she wouldn't know that. He thought it was funny that she'd picked up on the fact this was a library and therefore one should be silent, but his silence had nothing to do with that, just that he didn't have anything to say and watching the girl get annoyed had been satisfying in more than one way, but being called handicapped by someone elicited an almost response from Zared.

Zared really didn't like her but he couldn't walk away after that, not without saying something, it was almost like she'd just said it so that she would make him look like a fool, he decided he couldn't let that stand, but he was admittedly now pretty bored of this now, annoying this slytherin girl had lost all it's fun. He reached into his belongings and pulled out a scrap of parchment, and quill with long last ink and then writing something down on the parchment, a little lie to explain his lack of voice, before handing it to the girl he'd been annoying in the first place, a short explanation that his lack of voice was due to the fact that his father had punished him severely every single he'd tried to talk growing up, it was a lie but he hoped that the girl might take his side more, even have a go at Elysia for it, and he pretended to look a little upset before wandering over to Elysia, leaning in to her and in the quietest voice so only she could hear whispering, "Mudblood sympathiser," his voice quiet but a little rough from a lack of use and then he just glanced back at the two slytherin's and then walked out of the library, pretty much done with this.
