Brian walked out onto the warm pitch in his bright blue Quidditch uniform he'd been playing the position of seeker for almost three years now but always knew that he needed practice. Brian looked over at his trusted Firebolt and at the pitch as some of the obstacle rings and blocks had been set up to allow for greater strategy, He opened up the box containing the magical balls as he waited for Lily or anyone else from the team to show up however quickly deciding not to wait for them and instead get on with praticing. Brian released the two bludgers and then the golden snitch, closing his eyes to make sure that he wouldn't be able to see where it was going. Brian knew that he wasn't the best Seeker in the world but he knew that as long as he practiced he'd be pretty decent.

Brian looked around for a second noticing the hoops and the blocks moving as the bludger swerved around them or in some instances with the blocks simply crash hard into them leaving dents inside. Brian smiled, he always enjoyed a challenge as he wrapped his legs around his broomstick and kicked off into the skies. Normally Brian would enjoy the rush that came from the first flight however something inturrupted that. A passing bludger skimmed his shoulder with enough force to leave a bruis as well as knock him off course into one of the floating blocks. "Ow" was all Brian could really get out as he clutched onto his broomstick squeezing to ensure that he didn't fall off, he'd have to be more carefull as he began scanning for the golden snitch.

Lily decided to head on down to the pitch to get in some practice. She had not called a formal practice, but since it was a beautiful day she hoped that a few of her team would show up to get some practice in as well. Pulling on her bright blue uniform, she grabbed her messenger bag of space with her quidditch equipment and headed out from her dorm.

Making her way down to the pitch, she loved the soft breeze blowing through her hair. The day was perfect and she was excited to get out on her broom. There was not much that made her happier than being up and flying at top speed. As she neared the pitch, she could tell someone else had the same idea she did. There were obstacles set up, ready to go and she ducked as a bludger came whizzing past her.

"Whoa! What the--" she exclaimed. Looking around, she tried to find who had let the balls loose. Grabbing her beaters bat and hopping on her Streak, she kicked off the ground and took to the sky. She soon spotted Brian, her team seeker, and flew over to where he was flying. "Hey Brian! You mind if I join you?" she asked as she flew along next to the younger Ravenclaw.

Brian looked over at Lily moving aside to avoid the second bludger. "No, I don't mind" Brian said looking around for the snitch still. Lily was the Ravenclaw team captain and while he listened to her during the practices and team meetings he never really spoke with her. It was probably due to the fact that she was friends with Estrella Drage whom despite not having gone through with his prank; he never did forgive for the horrible trick she and the others played the year before. Brian flew above one of the flying blocks and through a hoop as he had by sheer luck managed to see the golden snitch flying around as if it hadn't a care in the world. As Brian flew towards it he had a feeling in the pit of his stomach which normally meant something bad was about to happen.

Sure enough another hoop hidden by a passing block nudged into him knocking him off course as if it were some other team's player causing Brian to loose sight of the snitch in a simple instant. Brian enjoyed practicing with the obstacles because at times they could be more unpredicatable then real players, however that could also be an annoyance when you spend over an hour simply trying to catch a small round ball. Brian continued scanning for the snitch while turning his head towards Lily "How are you today?" he asked as he quickly flew under another passing block. The blocks moved slow enough but could also change directions, being almost 10' feet vertically and 6' horizontally when they did that it became a rather nuissance.

Lily ducked around another of the obstacles and watched as Brian dodged another bludger. She flew up and positioned herself in front of the speeding ball, whacking it with her bat in quick fashion. Flying near her team seeker, she responded to him. "Not to bad. Felt the need to get out and fly. How about you?" She slipped down under another of the large moving blocks, flipping upside down as she did, then climbing back up to where Brian was flying. Lily flipped her broom back over, and sat up on her broom again, scanning for the offending bludgers.

As she flew along, she spun the bat in her hand around in a circle. "I felt the need to get away from my books for the day and smash some bludgers around too. Might not be my position, but it is amazing stress relief." She giggled a bit, then gave Brian a goofy grin.

Ares made his way to the quidditch pitch hoping to get in some training before the game. He had just found out he made the Ravenclaw team as an general alternate, and he was overjoyed. But he also new he needed some more practice at the postions he wasnt as familiar with.

The second year paused as he got to the entrance of the pitch and grinned as he saw the pitch set up with obstacles and bludgers and a snitch were flying around, he walked in towards his captain and their team seeker, being careful to dodge all flying objects "Mind if I join you guys?" he asked with a grin.

"No! I don't mind!" Brian shouted as a dummy appeared however this new batch of dummies were different from the last. The other ones were more maniquin like and felt like going up against real players however these ones seemed more makeshift and comical. The appeared as though someone had casted a charm over several of the scarcrows from the pumpkin patch and sent them over towards the pitch allowing the players to utterly destroy them and their pumpkin heads. As Brian caught sight of the Snitch again he dodged one of the giant blocks and crashed through the pumpkin dummies sending it's body all over the place "Sorry, but Halloween's past!" Brian shouted as he crashed through another set of pumpkins only to be hit by a bludger in the arm. Brian was glad to have reflexes as he was knocked off his broom yet saved by holding onto it with one hand. Brian grasped the broom with his other hand and swung back onto his broomstick feeling the bruise on his arm already begin to appear.
