Blood of My Blood, We Are One

Alphonse cursed this day with every fiber of his being, due to the the wedding between a Zhefarovich and a Lefevre that was currently being held today. Combining two allied families they were currently not so hot with the Snow family right now was not exactly good news to the older man or any of the elder members. Along with this Miss Danielle Lefevre was nothing but a disgusting excuse for a woman and he would have loved nothing more than to watch her bleed to death instead of getting her wish and being married to her greatest ally. The only reason he had come was because he was an ally and he was required to keep an eye on the Bride in case she decided to pull a move against his family now that she had Asparuh on her side. Once fully inside the mausoleum he headed down the stairs and looked about the room that made his lips curl into a smirk, he had to admit that he liked the décor and style of the wedding. 'Maybe Danielle will end up chocking on her own breath and saving us the trouble.' He sat himself down towards the middle of the rows and clenched his hands together, as amazing and strong as the couple were he could not stand the bride and would rather see her die then see her married.

Cecily walked a little behind her husband and child with her hands linked behind her back. Pinkened lips curled at the corners as her eyes met those of her precious baby girl who looked over Prodan's wide shoulder. Elisaveta looked at her seriously before looking up and studying the side of her daddy's face. It tugged deep within Cecily. This was the family she had always wanted; had prayed, suffered and fought for. It was odd to see those two in black, let alone herself. It did not fit her small family, not with the way they laughed and played together.

As Prodan turned to her, his silver eyes clouded with fear, she knew that it fit his family all too well. The laughter left her face and banked in her eyes as he spoke, his voice deep and tinged with his Bulgarian accent. The voice she could listen to for forever. She felt his kiss upon her head as their fingers brushed, Elisaveta now in her loving arms. Silently she followed him within the darkened stairway, the musty smell twitching her nose. At the bottom, he turned to her and Cecily switched Elisaveta to a hip. She lifted her hand to cup his cheek, looking into his eyes so lovingly, wanting to reassure him that there would be no disgrace from his little family that day. Her lips met his, pressed, clung, until he raised his head and with one last look between them, he turned and took his seat.

Cecily found hers on the bench in the third row and shifted her baby girl on her lap. Her green eyes looked up and caught the mocking ones of Hades Lutrov from the alter in the front. Eyes narrowed, Cecily felt the itch in her palms to smack that smirk off his smug face when she felt a tiny, chubby finger on her lips. That one little touch calmed the storm building inside her. Gazing down, she smiled and hugged the little girl to her. Silently she waited for the wedding to begin.

Nataliia had led one of her best friends to the wedding. She had to ask her dad from permission to bring a werewolf on such a rare event, but at first, the answer was no, until she pointed out that he was the Guardian of Azerail. Luckily, it wasn't the full moon out tonight. Nataliia led the way into the mausoleum, her own black dress flowing down her, and clung to her skin. She was starting to get a tiny bump in her belly. It concerned her a bit. If she was pregnant, and she was showing all the signs of being pregnant, they had to be Noah's. Nataliia remembered the test saying she was. But she believed it. Nataliia was pregnant. She sighed, and looked back at her five little ones trailing after her. Nataliia was thankful that Grezhen could watch over them. Joanna just turned two, which marked the two years since she saw her husband, Joseph. Nataliia sighed, and walked down the steps. She walked down the aisle, and went to sit down next to Prodan. Nataliia made sure that her babies were good in their seats, before facing the front once more. Not once did her eyes catch Alphonse's for she was not only was she mad at him for pissing off her family, but she was also ashamed that she had slept with his brother. Her eyes caught the glance of Noah Snow, looking rather bored. She flushed and gazed down at her heels.

Grezhen nodded at Nataliia, as he carried Joanna and Katrina in both of his arms. He too wore black, along with the rest of Nataliia's children. He couldn't believe that she was that young, and had so many kids. It took him a bit to learn their names. "Come on, Lucretia, Lucien and Jean," Grezhen said in his husky voice before leading them into the dark building. Sure, he knew that the family was bad, but he didn't know just how bad they were until he entered the room. The darkness in there gave him the chills. The only child that seemed rather frightened at the feeling was Jean Snow. The other four seem to love it, even Joanna. Grezhen shook his head, and he felt a tug on his curly hair done by Joanna. Grezhen sighed and he went to a bench with the least amount of people, and set the children down on the bench. Luckily for him, they were well-behaved. Grezhen took a seat next to them, and faced the front. Never had he wanted to meet the father of Azerail in person, but now, guess that won't be a choice.

Arnost was one of the last to enter, and he had to say, he knew it was about to happen. Which was why he currently wore a smug smirk on his face right now. Arnost knew it would just be a matter of time before Asparuh and Danielle were wed. Arnost was quite pleased, for now he could terrorize Danielle to bits without having her run off for years at a time. Arnost chuckled darkly, and he made his way through the filled benches. He nodded to those around, and he had this mischievous glimmer in his eyes, so those around could tell that this wasn't the groom. Arnost grew even more pleased when he saw the requirements of the wedding. He wondered if he should tell Hades that those in here with a weak stomach should leave the room. Arnost turned to the front of the benches, after nodding at Hades, telling him to begin soon because the doors were now shut and locked. This was a private ceremony. Now, the wedding soon would begin. Arnost took his seat, folded his arms across his face, and the smirk failed to falter.

OOC: For those that had not arrived, you can post later once the after-party begins. Remember, if you don't have the symbol, you can't get to the Manor. Let the wedding begin!

Hades waved his white hand at the iron gates to the stairs, and they slammed shut and clicked. Hades spoke, "Welcome, all of those who were fortunate to attend this momentous wedding of the century! It is quite possibly the darkest, as today is not only Halloween, but the birthdays' of many that are in here." Hades motioned toward Kalif, Asparuh IV and Joanna. "We also give our Patriarch a happy birthday as well. He turns seventy-six tonight. We wish him a long life, now that he is going to be wed to the powerful Head of the Lefevre family, Danielle, he won't be dying alone." Hades clapped his hands for a few moments, the others joining in except for those unhappy about this union.

"I would like for everyone to remain silent, as the bride and groom make their way down the aisle." Hades narrowed his eyes a bit at the velvet aisle, lined with black candles lit with green flames. They started to blaze even more, but they would blaze up as Asparuh and Danielle approached, and then go back to the original size when they pass. Hades smirked, an evil look in his eyes blazing, and he saw his own children attending the wedding too. Hades II and Vritra. His voice raised, he said, "Ela tuk, lyubitelite na tŭmninata. Piĭte krŭvta si i da se obedinyat v edna." (OOC: "Come here, lovers of darkness. Drink thy blood and unite into one.") That was the cue for Danielle and Asparuh to come forth, and start the wedding, the most traditional one that they have had in decades.

Today was the day. Asparuh had been waiting for this since it was made. A traditional wedding that would leave many others breathless with just how dark the Zhefarovich's really were. The night before, Hades had taken their blood, and he still had the bandage wrapped around his left forearm, where the blood was drawn from under the Dark Mark. Plus it was the arm that Asparuh wrote with as well. There was much power with his left side. Asparuh stared into the mirror. Behind him was the names of the members of the family that were before Ivaylo Zhefarovich I's time. Those that were unnamed for a good cause, because the names were not written down unless they were recorded out of Ivaylo's knowledge.

Asparuh made sure his hair looked fine, not a single strand out of place. Black robes blanketed his tall form, and he could hear those outside speaking, and then Hades' voice arose. That boy just had to reveal his age, didn't he. Asparuh felt like destroying that mirror, but alas, he did not. Asparuh would have to wait a while to get his anger out. Instead, he heard the Bulgarian language Hades spoke, and he wondered when he and Danielle ever became lovers. Then again, he was quite used to the term when someone described he and her. Asparuh thought that now would be the best time to leave the room. Slowly, he stood up from the chair he was sitting in, and he made his way down the dark corridor until he arrived at the left entrance to the lower depths of the mausoleum from which he had came. The room was large, full of members that he had not seen at all that day, and some he had not seen in years.

Asparuh walked to stand next to where the aisle began, and his eyes met with Danielle's. He held the back of his hand facing upward, for her to put her hand on top of his. After that was done, they started walking down the aisle. The fire blazing up with every step they took, before reaching original size. Asparuh did not have a single expression upon his face. His black eyes were holes of evil, and knew that this union would be for the best of Danielle's family and his own. No mistakes, and nothing was going to go wrong. This would be a sacred wedding, uniting two evils into one. Just the traditions were a little disturbing for those that were not in the family or used to evil deeds. Hell, those skulls were from two victims that Asparuh and Danielle killed together. Standing before Hades, Asparuh waited in silence.

Danielle stared into the mirror in front of her without a single expression being shown on her face, today was the day that was going to change her life forever and she was willing to accept the change. Her blinding blue eyes pierced into her own soul as she stared at herself with distaste, despite everyone who saw her thinking she was beyond beautiful she didn't think she was really all that good looking and pretty much detested her appearance. Her eyes downcast for a moment to the scar that ran across her dark mark from where Hades had drained the blood from her arm for the ceremony today, most of yesterday she was 'busy' doing things so she didn't have time to really dwell on the wedding that was happening today, bot now she was forced to comply with the cold hard facts. She was getting married. It almost made her feel like a lair but at the same time proud that she would be doing this for the good of her family and for the honor of her and Asparuh. For some reason she could feel how proud her mother and Lady Lydia would have been if they were here to see this moment.

Brushing some of her silky blonde hair away from her face Danielle vaguely she heard what Hades was saying outside of the door and rolled her angelic eyes when she heard them being called Lovers once again. 'Why they insist on calling us that I will never know.' Pretty much since they were kids people had called them that and not once had either of them understood it or acknowledge it as ever being true. Once last look in the mirror and Danielle decided that this was as good as she was ever going to look and stepped away from the glass mirror and towards the door, in just a few short seconds she would be headed out that door and would soon be married to Asparuh and have her fate sealed to him forever. If there was one thing she never regretted in her life was meeting the Zhefarovich family, they had helped her become the person she was today. If it hadn't been for her knowing them she would have had no friends growing up and probably wouldn't have been driven to become such a good leader, she owed Asparuh a lot and couldn't even begin to think of a way she could make it up to him for always being there.

Once the doors opened she gracefully headed down the dark corridor until she arrived at the right entrance to the lower depths of the mausoleum from which he had came. The room was huge and full of so many people that she either didn't know or hadn't seen in years. Her beautiful face glanced around the room softly as she took in all of their faces, they would be her family and allies now. Danielle walked to stand next to where the aisle began and allowed her eyes to meet with his before she brought her hand up gracefully to rest atop of his. After that was done, they started walking down the aisle. The fire blazing up with every step they took, before reaching original size. The whole time Danielle kept a straight face and tried to remain calm even though inside she was feeling weak and overwhelmed, she couldn't believe that she was here right now and about to marry her ally after all these years. Once the pair reached Hades Danielle took in the skulls carefully before her eyes then took in the vials with their blood inside it. 'This is all all so sacred and beautiful..' Danielle was impressed but managed to keep her poise and grace as she stood in silence with Asparuh, with all the eyes on her and him, this had to be perfect.

Hades put his white hands on the table, and he began the ceremony first with saying, "Alas, the perfect and powerful couple stand before me, before us." Hades bent down under the alter, and he retrieve a huge, dusty old book. He put it down in front of him, and upon it was a huge Z with a sword and snake through it. He opened the pages and he found the right page. "Danielle Lefevre, will you take this man to be your husband, to be your ally, your lover? Do you accept the honorable title of Ranee Danielle Zhefarovich, wife of the Patriarch. Do you accept his blood into your body as you are now to become one with him?" Hades took the vial and he opened it. He poured Asparuh's blood into the goblet. There was another vial, mixed with both of theirs, next to the urn. "Do you accept the laws and the traditions of the Zhefarovich Family, and agree to serve them as they serve you?"

Her heart beat slowly in her chest when Hades called them the perfect and powerful couple in front of all these people, for some reason she barely considered them to be a couple at all. Especially since they did not and would never love each other like most couples thought they did, the pair were merely close allies and maybe even friends but they were not in love. Danielle's angelic blue eyes widened when Hades took out a book and opened it up to something, she assumed it had to be something traditional for the family to have during wedding ceremonies and everything. Soon Hades started the wedding off by then turning to her and asking her the vows, all of the, was more overwhelming than the previous question had been. "I do." She answered her voice being soft but powerful all the same. Of course she accept all of it, the family, Asparuh, even the dreaded blood that seemed to glow in the light of the room as it was being poured.

Hades smirked in pride, when Danielle accepted. He turned to Asparuh and he spoke, "Do you, Asparuh Zhefarovich the Third, take this woman to be your wife, your partner for governing such a powerful family, in sickness and in health. Do you promise to protect her, heal her, guide her to the forces of darkness and evil. Do you take her to be the Ranee of the Zhefarovich Family? Do you accept her blood into your body, as you are now to become one with her?" Hades poured Danielle's blood into the goblet, and put the empty vial down. After this, would come the second part, probably the most gruesome and most disturbing as well. Then, it would be complete. "Now, you drink." He motioned toward the goblets.

Asparuh listened to Hades' words, taking them into his heart and he slowly nodded, as his cold words like daggers cut through the room, "I do." Asparuh dropped his hand from Danielle's, and he took the goblet of her blood into his hand. One of the most important parts of the wedding. "Blood of my blood, we are one," Asparuh intoned as he was supposed to. Asparuh brought the goblet to his lips and he tipped it back, allowing the liquid of life to enter his body. He set the empty goblet down, and though he was never disturbed by blood, this was something he had never done in his life, and never found it appealing like some people. He breathed in the stale air, and waited for the next part of the ceremony.

Danielle resisted to return a smirk when Asparuh also said I do, at least he wasn't heartless enough to back out of his promise like all other men she had ever been with who ended up just leaving her in the dust. "Blood of my blood, we are one." Danielle repeated along with Asparuh before they were both instructed to drink each other's blood from the goblets. She brought the goblet to her lips gently and she tipped it back, allowing the ruby red liquid to enter her body and join Asparuh and Danielle even more than than they already had been. It lift a bitter but almost even pleasant taste in her mouth, she was used to blood so it didn't bother her as much as it should have. Blinking and looking almost innocent before she lowered the goblet, her eyes shifted to Hades once more as she waited for the ceremony to continue.

Hades snapped and a plate appeared before them on the alter. He poured the vial with their mixed blood into the plate, filling it easily. He continued, "As we continue to marking each other with the mind of a Zhefarovich by blood." Hades dared not to look into the crowd. "Take your index finger and place it into the plate. I wand you to mark each other's forehead with a Z. Danielle..." Hades paused, and with a wave of his wand, a stool appeared before her. "I know you can't reach Asparuh's forehead. Now, begin, as I already know, you know your lines."

Asparuh placed his finger in the blood, and carefully, he marked Danielle's angelic forehead with the Z for the Zhefarovich family. Asparuh thought that this would be over really soon. But the last part would be rather disturbing, and it would ruin his robes. That was something he looked forward to with dread. Asparuh spoke, "A pure mind of evil, I invoke thee to be mine." Asparuh put his hand down, and didn't bother cleaning off the blood off of his hand, because well, part three would just involve more blood. Asparuh awaited for Danielle to do her part, surprised that she had made it this far. Not many would have survived after the blood drinking ceremony.

Danielle almost flinched when Asparuh went to go mark her forehead but relaxed the moment his index finger touched her, she needed to convince herself to relax and trust that he would not pull something over on her like the rest of them. When Danielle heard that she was supposed to do the same to him she couldn't help but think that these people had it out for her. 'Smartass' She shot Hades a harsh look when he had brought a stool out for her and decided to make a comment about her height in front of all these people. But still Danielle complied and used the stool to make herself taller and use one of her pale and gentle fingers to mark Asparuh's forehead with the Z while muttering; "A pure mind of evil, I invoke thee to be mine." She had no idea what to expect after this but she had to admit that it was all such an overwhelming feeling.

Hades fought to keep from laughing when Danielle shot him a look. Remember, you are prohibited from laughing in this wedding. He coughed a bit before he got the urn and with his hand, reached inside the urn. He grabbed a handful of ashes, and put the ashes into the plate of blood. With his own finger, he mixed the two ingredients to finalize the marriage. "Now, place your entire hand into this plate, and then place it over each other's hearts and say your line." Hades smirked a bit, knowing that she didn't need a stool to reach his black heart.

Asparuh dipped his entire hand into the plate, and did as he was told and placed his hand over her beating heart. This seemed just inappropriate for him right now, but he ignored that and said the last words, "A heart of darkness, I invoke thee to be mine. We are now one and the same. You are my wife, Ranee Danielle Zhefarovich." Asparuh removed his hand from her heart. Asparuh was not surprised that they needed the ashes of a body of a Zhefarovich to ensure and finalize the marriage. That was it. Asparuh was married, for the second and final time in his life.

As much as it grossed Danielle out she would do it for the honor and because she had already gone so far and only had this little bit left to go through. She dipped her entire hand into the plate and carefully lifted it to where Asparuh's beating heart was, this part just seemed a little awkward but she did as she was told regardless. "A heart of darkness, I invoke thee to be mine. We are now one and the same. You are my husband, Patriarch Asparuh Zhefarovich III." Danielle removed her hand gently from Asparuh's heart and allowed her angelic blue eyes to gaze at the audience for a moment before she returned them to Asparuh. From this moment on she was married, her first marriage and from what she planned it was going to be her last.

Hades handed them a black cloth to clean off their hands, and he announced, "By the blood of which pumps through their veins, from the ashes of the past Zhefarovich full of honor, I pronounce you husband and wife, lovers and allies, Ranee and Patriarch. We welcome Asparuh Gavril Zhefarovich III and Danielle Axelle Zhefarovich, a married couple, from here to eternity, you have witnessed it tonight, of All Hallow's Eve! Blessed be in the same of darkness, in the blood of the Zhefarovich's, and the souls stained of evil which guide us out to the world tonight." Hades concluded the wedding, and the iron gates opened. That was it, and Hades had to admit, the first marriage he had, he hoped that the traditions would change, and allow this type of wedding for every member.

OOC: The after-party will begin shortly. Remember, if you don't have access to the Manor, then you cannot be there. If you have a question on whether or not you have access, PM me.

Danielle stood in front of the fireplace inside the Zhefarovich Manor the one with the crest over it, now that the wedding was over the after-party was going on and all of those at the wedding were now here. She thought there were a lot of members before but now that they were all moving around and everything it looked like much more were here, and not even the Lefevre's were present at the moment. Turning her body away from the fireplace her angelic but blinding blue eyes scanned the room as carefully as she could, she could easily a few sofas and tables with refreshments about on them and this also happened to be the room without the family tree in it. Danielle discarded the décor and began to look at the people in the room, quite a few of them had already spoken to her to Congratulate her and probably get a conversation out but she didn't have to say to these people yet. It was late into the evening but none of them surprisingly looked all that tired of distressed about being out so late, it seemed that they were pleased about the wedding.

Some of the members were conversing, some were just sitting quiet, and there were also a select few that Danielle couldn't even tell what they were doing. 'I suppose I should be more lively' Gracefully she began to step away from the fire place and used her hands to smooth out her dress as she stepped into the crowd of people, the party had just begun so there was no telling what kinds of events would unfold throughout the night.

Nicolette sat on one of the couches next to Cecily, she continued to cradle to her baby close to her as she allowed her golden eyes to glance around the room with meek excitement filling them. The wedding itself was a little creepy but she still enjoyed it and thought it was cool to see such a tradition being preformed, the woman marrying Asparuh seemed like she was a Pro at this sort of thing and of course the Patriarch himself must have known what he was doing. "So Cecily, what did you think of the wedding and Asparuh's new wife?" Baby Nicolas was asleep on the couch next to her and she couldn't help but cover him up a little bit more with his baby blanket before she let her eyes turn to focus on the woman who had just married Asparuh, her name had previously been Danielle Lefevre but was now changed to Zhefarovich. Nicolette had to admit that Asparuh's bride was gorgeous, but she seemed a little too lifeless for her tastes.

Sitting up a little more Nicolette was tempted to stand up and start exploring the area, she wanted to mingle around with her family but they already looked so into their conversations and she had to be carefully with Bothizar because he could be woken easily and was fussy when he first woke up. Actually what she wanted to do as well was talk to Miss Danielle, but something told her to hold off on that, maybe something entertaining will happen soon.

Gabrielle spent most of the wedding keeping an eye on her idiot of a brother, but now that the after-party was going on she decided she was actually a little tired of babysitting her brother and let him go off and do his own thing. Instead what she really wanted to do was speak to her mother and maybe even go Congratulate the man that she ended up marrying, sure he was a little scary but deserved respect all the same. Taking a deep breath she remembered what her mother said about not having to fear the man because if she showed him the respect he deserved, carefully she approached Asparuh and immediately kneeled to him like her mother told her to. "Congratulations." Was the only thing she said before she picked herself up and turned away from him, not daring to meet his eyes before she headed off to her mother.

She wanted to make this fast before Alphonse got upset and told her to go back to the Snow Manor with him. He had pulled her away from her mother and would probably do it again so she just wanted to see her mother a little before the party ended. Instead she stepped halfway there when she caught the eyes of Alphonse and sighed, he wasn't going to allow her to do anything was he? Gabrielle headed over to her mother anyways and the moment she was close to her mother she enveloped the smaller woman into a quick hug. "Mom, Congrats." She stated as her blue eyes sparkled in the light of the room, her mother had made her proud, combining two powerful families like that was just over the top. Especially now since it meant that she couldn't leave on them now.

The wedding he had just witnessed was beyond weird and creepy for him to witness, especially the part where the Bride and Groom had to down a goblet of eachother's blood. The whole ceremony had looked like it was done exactly by the book and that everyone involved knew what they were doing since none of them faltered or messed up during the wedding. Sitting next top his brother's and sisters he couldn't help but marvel at how many good looking woman were here right now, it was like a bachelor's dream place to be. "Wow, Danielle looks hot." He snickered under his breath when all five of his siblings turned to give him dirty looks for his comment, hopefully Asparuh hadn't heard him either but the Quidditch player could only assume he didn't. Besides he was only appreciating what was there, and trying to lighten the mood before Alphonse got upset and started to cause problems. When Noah caught sight of the lovely Nataliia lingering around at the party he decided to excuse himself for a moment and slyly make his way over to her.

"Lovely wedding huh?" He asked once she sidled up to her, a handsome smile as on his face and he checked around to make sure that his brother was paying him any mind. If the Snow had looked closer he might have noticed that her stomach looked a tad bit bigger, but he was too busy looking at her face to really pay attention to anything else.

Alphonse sat on the couch with the harshest glare he could muster staring right at the She-devil herself, it still irked him off to no ends that she was now involved with the Zhefarovich family. Even though it pleased him to know that more powerful families were now trying to ally eachother the last two families he wanted to deal with in the end was The Lefevre's and Zhefarovich's together because personally both families were a little on the dangerous side, and Alphonse could only figure that now it would be impossible for him to try and control Danielle anymore. "Shut your mouth moron." Alphonse snapped at his brother Noah for opening his fat mouth and thinking it was okay to comment on Danielle's appearance at the wedding, and to Alphonse that was the only thing she had going for her as well was her appearance. Other than that he could only hope that maybe Asparuh would grow tired of her and murder to save someone else the trouble. When his brother got up and headed to Alphonse's wife he could not help but let past a suspicious stare. He had nothing to accuse yet but he would be ready if that man decided to pull something on her. When he saw that his daughter Gabrielle was beginning to speak to Danielle, his anger boiled over and he hastily stood from the couch.

He stormed towards where Danielle was and decided he would finally speak his mind, he figured she probably wouldn't like it though and would have to avoid upsetting Asparuh too. After all this was his wedding day and he assumed that the Patriarch would not want to deal with any issues.
