Hudson had found himself in a very strange place. People from all over the world were there and it was a castle. Everyday already seemed like an adventure to him as he quietly play acted in his mind about being some sort of servant or knight in the grand castle serving the King and Queen. It was fun for him, but he hadn't found anyone that really shared his interests in the medieval times. He also wasn't able to bring his sword with him to school, even though it wasn't sharp or anything. The castle did seem to have plenty of swords on the walls, but those were decoration swords, not the same as his. He moved about the castle often wondering about different things. Today the young Ravenclaw was wondering about the different people who lived in the castle with him. Why would the teachers give up their lives and having their own home and live there? Why would so many students travel so far to come here when surely there was a school closer to them?

Hudson of course could have gone to Hogwarts Scotland as that is far closer to his home. But, Fleur goes here and his guardians thought it would be best if they went to the same school. He wasn't the biggest fan of Fleur, she never tried to be very nice and made life harder for him and his sisters in their new home. Her home. He could only hope she wasn't out on the grounds as he headed outside to enjoy the nice winter weather and see who else was out there. Not that Hudson would very willingly talk to the people, he liked to watch them however. Walking around he found a nice bench where their was a girl sitting on it. It was a rather large bench and he didn't think it would be a problem if he sat down with her too. He thought she looked familiar from one of his classes, but he wasn't very sure. Hudson also thought he might have seen her in his common room as well. "Hi, could I, uh, could I join you?" He asked wondering what the girl would say. He didn't have many interactions with girls outside of his family so he wasn't fully sure on how to treat them, other than be polite.
