Hi, everyone!! How are the new year's resolutions going? I've already forgotten what mine were, so I guess that's a good start. 
Anyway, it's time for another BWU, so let's jump in!!
Ending Y50
Y50 has been an exciting one, with celebratory events happening throughout the school year - but alas, it has come to an end. As you might have gathered from the blue confetti, Ravenclaw took home the house cup this year - congratulations, Ravenclaws!!! Long may the blue streak continue.
End of Year Feast
Don't forget to drop into the End of Year Feast. It's Professor Alcott-Ward's last... and he will surely be missed by the students and staff alike.
Changes Are on the Horizon...
With Professor Alcott-Ward stepping down, somebody's got to fill his shoes. Students returning in the new year will find that their new headmaster is.... ~Professor Kalif Styx!! Congratulations, Ghost! I'm really looking forward to seeing Styx around the school again. He just can't stay away, clearly.
Hogwarts Monthly - S2 Issue
The semester two issue of the Hogwarts Monthly is out now. Read it here! A huge thanks to the HM team for putting this together for our enjoyment. Don't forget, you can react to your character reading the paper in the thread, if you feel like it!

HNZ is looking to fill several positions:
Slytherin Head of House
Herbology years 5-7
CoMC Years 5-7
Charms Years 5-7
Divination Years 3-4
Flying
If you're interested in applying for any of these roles, head on over to the Application Centre as soon as possible!! Having a professor is a bit of a commitment, but we (the staff) are also committed to helping you wherever we can, so don't be afraid to give it a shot.
Applications: Closed
With sorting on the horizon, the admin are going to be exceptionally busy, so apps are temporarily closed. You can still apply for standard group changes and galleons during this time, but anything major won't be processed until apps re-open. We're very grateful for your patience.
MoM Event Postponed
It's a busy time for us all right now. Due to a lack of applications, we've decided to postpone the Minister of Magic event for the time being. Stay tuned for more information in the future!
