--Leviathan Zhefarovich was not really dressed to fit the occasion. One had to wear dress robes or a tuxedo. Screw those two, Levi was not going to be wearing that until he could go ice skating with the devil in the deepest circle of Hell. Levi was coming here for Ariah, and only for her. He did not see his twin sister around, probably because she was busy studying for the OWLs, how Ravenclaw of her. Levi made sure that his hair at least look suitable. Levi shook his head as he entered through the Great Hall. He went straight to a table, and sat down where he did not intend to dance at all. He had maybe once or twice, but he was not going to this year. Levi got a cup of punch and he started to sip it. However it was sweet, and not really his forte of drinks to enjoy. However, Levi was waiting for Ariah to hurry and arrive. How long did it take for girls to even get ready anyway? She was just coming along with him, so she didn't have to look really great or anything. He liked her for who she was. Levi was a little laid back as well, but he didn't really want her showing too much skin for his comforts. The only pair of eyes that could look at her, was his own. Anyone else would get a punch straight to the face. Levi was very protective of his girlfriend and future wife.

Ariah Rowan knew that the Yule Ball was never something that Leviathan was really into. The only reason he ever really came to this thing was to make her happy. So for awhile there she was tempted to tell her boyfriend and future husband that he didn't have to go to this thing anymore. But then she remembered that he always made the cutest grumpy faces when he had to do something he didn't want to do and thought against it. He needed to get out and show that precious little face to the world so he was going to be stuck going whether he figured out that this thing wasn't as important to Ariah as he thought it was. After a brief hello to Damian because she noticed that he seemed to be waiting for someone she walked around and tried to spot her boyfriend. She knew he wouldn't be dancing so the trick was to look near the sides of the room. It didn't take long for her to find him and when she did, Ariah snorted softly. He wasn't even dressed for a ball really. Ariah casually made her way over to where he was sitting before she gently sat herself down on his lap, since he was far larger than she was she figured that her sitting down on his lap wouldn't hurt him or anything. "Hey handsome. Sorry it took so long, I ended up running into Damian and wanted to say hi. Wow it's early and you already look like such a sour puss...I love it!" Ariah reached out and pinched his cheek softly before she gave him a half-hug and stared out onto the dancefloor. Whether he liked it or not she was either going to get him to dance or take a walk with her. For some reason the walk was sounding a lot more fun and hopefully a lot less of a hassle for her trying to get her boyfriend to do. He hated dancing and to be honest Ariah wasn't that good at dancing anyways.

--Sipping at some punch and almost gagging it down, Levi thought that it was better than nothing at all. Levi glanced around the room and he thought hardly, Flea bitten, tick ridden mudbloods thinking they practically are equal to us. Levi snorted and he almost choked down the punch. The Yule Ball was so not the right place for Levi, and he knew it. Why did he even bother coming here? Well, he wanted to keep an eye on Ariah for starters, and then there was the whole issue with some boys and all that may be looking at her. Levi did not want any of that now. He wanted to make sure that everyone knew that Ariah Rowan was his and no one else's. Sure, he was a jealous boyfriend and future husband and he knew it. Right now, he was going to attempt to turn her to the side where he was on, and to be proud of her pure-blood and not be all...accepting of others. She really needs to just realize that some people are obviously better than others. Humble is not the way to go, thought Levi as he crunched the cup in his hand and he set it on the table behind him. Levi glanced up when he felt someone hop onto his lap, and he grunted and turned his silver eyes to glare at the person that did that. Then they softened when he saw that it was Ariah. Then she mentioned that half-breed's name. Damian. Levi rolled his eyes and he muttered, "Half-breed. Why do you even bother talking to it? It is...just it! They are barely fit to live here." Levi shook his head and he thought about shoving Ariah off his lap and onto the floor for pinching his cheek. "Think you could have sworn a shorter dress? Um, I mean I like your legs and all, but I don't want other boys looking..."

Ariah narrowed her eyes for a moment as her boyfriend spoke rudely about Damian, especially when he was such a nice guy in the first place. He had never been cruel to anyone and he always had such a cheerful attitude that it was hard not to grin and laugh when someone watched him carefully. So what in the world was Leviathan's problem with him, because he was different and had a special ability? "Leviathan Zhefarovich! Don't be such a jerk, Damian is a really good guy. Besides, Theodore was a Half-breed and it looked like you looked up to him." Ariah then jabbed him in the chest as she spoke a little bit more harshly than normal to him. Her mint green eyes narrowed and then she crossed her arms over her chest and continued to stare down at him for his rude comments towards Damian. He didn't realize how cruel he was with his words did he? Moments of silence passed before Ariah sighed and rolled her eyes, her arms uncrossed and she looked away from the man she was sitting on. "Damn, I can't even stay mad at you." She snorted but continued to try and look mad at him and make it so doesn't look like she was going to let him get off easily for his rude behavior. It would promote further behavior and she wanted Levi and Damian to at least pretend that they got along while she was around so she didn't feel bad or like she was causing problems. Then Leviathan started to complain about her dress length and she dropped her jaw and gave him a look. Was he seriously complaining about the length of her dress and the fact that she was showing her legs. Then he mentioned that he didn't want other boys looking and Ariah stared at him. "I am pretty sure I have much shorter in my closet but relax, no one is looking." She told him informatively as she patted her dress down and gave him a cute grin. Awh he was jealous, it was cute even if there wasn't really a reason for him to be jealous. It wasn't like she was going to leave him or anything. She liked him and even then they were bound together for life.

--Everyone knew that when a girl uses the full name for a boy, they mean that the boy was in trouble. Levi knew that he was in trouble with Ariah, but the moment she decided to back up the half-breed, Levi was completely disgusted. His face twisted with how he felt. He stared at her with a distraught look, but then he realized just how harsh she was compared to usual. But Levi raised an eyebrow. Theodore Snow was a half-breed? Someone needed to enlighten him on that one. Levi hated anything like that, but then again, he also did not know that Theodore was on their side as well. It sort of complicated things a bit in Levi's mind. Levi shook his head and he glared right on back, "Damian is not even bloody human. Theodore...he never told me that he was a half-breed. The point is, half-breeds should have never existed, and same with mudbloods. There will be a time where you will realize that." Levi did not even sound half as mean as he could have. Though his voice was low and cold, he did not say everything he wanted to because he knew that she would just get upset and that was not the way he wanted to plan his Yule Ball event with Ariah. Levi smirked, changing the mood for a small moment, "You are pretty cute when you get mad." Levi glance around to ensure that no one was looking at Ariah which would have just made him even more mad than he really should be. Luckily no one was paying them any attention. Levi muttered, "Fine, but if one person looks, they get a fist in the face." Levi was just in a bad mood, a really bad one now. He will have a lot of thinking to do later on anyway.

Ariah blinked and continued to stare at Leviathan with her weak angry look, she was still unpleased with him and he didn't seem phased by it at all. Which made her even angrier. She did not like it when people didn't take her seriously, just because she was short and small she seemed more innocent than she really was. "So your saying, I can't be friends with or hang out with him anymore?" Ariah asked with a raised eyebrow as she turned her head to stare at her boyfriend as she wanted to know his honest opinion on whether he even wanted her be hanging out with Damian or if he was going to pitch a fit everytime she did. He was so nice to her and everything though that Ariah liked hanging out with him. Not like a crush interest would be but as like friends, she was very into the guy she was with now so no other man could really take his place. Unless Sirius Black came back to life and managed to re-age himself so he was younger and probably less hairy, Ariah would be all over that. Point was though, that Levi was overreacting just a little bit. Then he said she was pretty cute when she got mad and Ariah had to force herself not to grin, she was supposed to stay mad at him. "Don't start that, I'm trying to stay mad at you." She hated that he had the ability to cheer her up or make her smile, especially when he was trying to be punished for how mean he was being to people. Even if he was raised up this way he needed to learn to be nice. When Levi threatened to punch anyone who looked she shook her head, goodness was he possessive. It was cute yes but sometimes she worried it would get him into trouble. Resting her head on his shoulder she let herself sigh out loud, he was really grumpy tonight. "Just because they look doesn't mean anything. But-come on, your in a sour mood and your not having fun...let's just go." Ariah hopped off his lap and turned to look at him. He was not having a good time out here and that made Ariah feel back so she was willing to leave. Trying to get him to dance would be hell too so she opted to just head out.

--Despite the fact that Ariah was displeased and probably a little madder than she should be at him, Levi at this point did not care because it was a subject that all pure-blood must agree with. They had to agree or else they were blood traitors. That was all there was to it. Levi would have to question Theodore about his blood type, that was for sure. He narrowed his eyes and Levi warned, "I wouldn't, if you knew what is best for you. You'll never know what those things are coughing up on you." Levi was not being harsh as some might think. Well, he did not think that he was being harsh because it was the way he was raised. To hate all that were lesser than pure-blood, and allow the rest to prove themselves worthy. There were very few exceptions when it came to half-bloods and lower. And there were no exceptions when it came to mudbloods, an insult that would literally set off a riot because of how vulgar it was in the world. Levi used it at least three times daily, which was the bad thing. He cursed and everything, and he would continue on as well. Levi was not going to even try to stop, because it was not something that he would attempt anyhow. Levi smithed lightly once more when she said that she was trying to stay mad at him. "Oh you can't stay mad at me. Though do keep on. You are hot when you are feisty." Whether or not Levi was just being an ass was questionable, but he was meaning what he was saying though. Levi rested his hand on her waist when she rested her head on his shoulder, and he too sighed. He did not want to be here much longer. Then Ariah got off of his lap and said that they should leave. He hated the Yule Ball, so he was gladly going to obey. However the moment he stood up, Levi caught a flickering glance of a sixth year Ravenclaw looking at Ariah. Levi stomped over and he growled, "Looking at my woman, are you?" and just punched the older boy right in the jaw. Levi snorted and he watched the Ravenclaw scurry away. He turned and approached Ariah and he smiled innocently, "Actually, I'm having fun now."
