June never really enjoyed Halloween too much. She felt dressing up was stupid, and most costumes were ridiculus. But she didn't want to miss out of it too, it was an social event in a way and the part she liked was judging people. And her friend was back again so perhaps they could do it together. She was pleased with her own look as usual and had used some magic to make her fake golden snake appear true. It was some loyal part to Slytherin, but in a way perhaps also an bit like her personality. June just felt pretty in it and it was nice to show her skill in magic too. She made her way in alone and moved inside. Noticing a lot of stupid costumes already, she decided to start with an drink and get an good observation spot.

Alicia was excited about this first official event at Hogwarts. Her costume was simple, but cute, and she was happy to take part in this tradition. She looked around the great hall with wide eyes, eager to get into all of the things that were there. The pinata looked fun, as did the spooky tent. She decided to start with a drink and a snack, and she smiled when she saw a girl she recognized from classes. June was hard to miss, she always seemed to be answering the professor's questions. Alicia thought this was a good opportunity to get to know some of her classmates, so after grabbing herself a drink she headed over to the Slytherin. "Hi June, cool costume. That snake looks so real!"

As June poured herself an pumpkin juice she watched to the side as someone spoke her name. The blonde was an bit suprised to see the girl who was new to their year, an transfer she believed from Beauxbatons. June found out since she wanted to know who she was dealing with in class. She didn't seemed completley stupid so far and June watched her costume. And than gave the girl an smile, giving compliments was always an good way to get on June's good side so she would welcome the girl ofcourse. '' Thank you! It's Alicia right?'' The blonde said and put down her pumpkin juice to shake her hand in a friendly way. To actually show some manners. June felt the magical fake snake moving his head up and down, and sometimes sticking out his tongue like an actually snake did. Unfortunally it didn't had real venom, she could think of few persons to give it to. '' How are you finding it here so far?'' The blonde asked. She was curious to how Beauxbatons was compared to this school.

Alicia was glad June seemed nice, she hadn't expected her to know her name since they were in different houses and June seemed so busy with her studies in class, but she was pleasantly surprised that she did. She nodded with a smile. "Yes, that's me." She said, glancing at the snake again. "Can I pet it or will it bite?" She asked, deciding not to just try just in case it did. Alicia smiled fidgeted with her braid. "It's alright, just have to get used to it." She said with a shrug. "We don't have houses there, though I do kind of like it. It's cozy in Gryffindor." She smiled ruefully. "Just a shame I gave up my starting position on the Quidditch team there to be an alternate here. But I'm lucky I got on the team at all."

The good thing about new people was that they weren't aware of some parts. And June knew the school knew of her, most people did. She at least thought so, and really felt like that. to miss out her in classes, but besides that she didn't really put much effort in hiding herself. The blonde smiled at the new girl. She had to smirk about her question. June would never pet a real snake, she didn't even liked animals. But this fake one with magic was ok. '' If you want.'' The blonde said with an smirk. '' It's not a real one. I used magic, so you will be fine I guess.'' June explained and gave her an smirk proud of the work she had done. June took an sip of her pumpkin juice and looked around before turning to Alicia. She couldn't imagine how it was not having houses, it sounded terrible already. What if she had to sleep and surround herself with Hufflepuffs all the time, that sounded like a nightmare. It was an dislike for June that the girl was liking Quidditch, but she would be an teammate of Fraser than. And she was a gryffindor so that made sense. '' So why did you transfer to this place?'' the blonde asked. Wondering why one would chose. June was direct in her questions, but she didn't lose her interest yet. Although she would not want to speak about quidditch.

Alicia reached over and gently pet the fake snake with two fingers, smiling as it reacted. "It's cool. You did a really good job." She told her, before pulling back and taking a sip of her own drink. "Is this your favorite event here?" She asked, knowing there were others. June's question was to be expected, and Alicia shrugged slightly. "Well, I wanted something new, an adventure. And I wanted to be closer to my family. I don't have siblings or anyone close in France, and my cousin on my mom's side works here." She told her. "She teaches flying." She hadn't managed to really connect with Grace yet, but she was determined to try.
