Bellatrix & Professor Weiss

Gabriel had been strolling the halls after a long and relaxing nap when he heard a confrontation up ahead. At first, he had thought it had been two girls arguing, and figured that he had better check it out. Upon further inspection, however, he could see that it was indeed a student and a Professor. They seemed to be in a heated debate, and he cleared his throat, walking swiftly up to them, his robes billowing behind him, "What seems to be the problem here, ladies?"

Bellatrix quickly turned to face him. "Bloody hell the school is crawling with new Professors. Who the hell are you?!"

"Excuse me? I would consider revising your vocabulary, if I were you," Gabriel snapped, spinning around on his heel so fast that it should've made his head spin, "I am Professor Gabriel Lloyd, and I must inquire, who are you?" He had spent years with the boys at Durmstrang, and wasn't about to take any guff from some thirteen year old brat.

"Frankly, sir, I take no orders from you." she snapped as a sneer etched across her face. "I"m surprised no one warned you about me, you think Alicia would be taking more precautions, pity..."

Gabriel broke out in laughter as he listened to the girl's threat, not feeling scared at all. "I am no more scared of you than I am convinced that you are really what you claim to be," he snorted, "Ah, I have been told about you. You must be Bellatrix Green; the very love of Slytherin House." His voice was dripping with sarcasm, his eyes narrowed at the girl. She had better watch her step.

"I have a question for you, Miss Green- Has anyone ever told you to act like a thirteen year old? Or is everyone satisfied with the tantrum throwing five year old child that you present yourself to be?" Gabriel snapped, his expression still calm, even though the tips of his ears were starting to turn red.

"Has anyone told you that your insults are terrible and you shouldn't play with fire, you may get burned, and we wouldn't want that, would we?"

Gabriel rolled his eyes. "Fighting fire with fire does not seem to be of your expertise," he said cryptically and sarcastically, getting pretty sick of this little brat. "I must tell you, I am not in the least bit frightened of a mini- Death Eater; especially those that try too hard to be what they're not."

Gabriel laughed. "Lying to make yourself look good isn't a great trait, either. I would expect as much of a leech." He rolled his eyes, getting pretty tired with this girl's attitude. "That mark you bear is nothing but a stupid little tattoo in homage to a guy who's as Dead as a doorknob."

"I'm lying, I would never do such a thing on such a precious topic!" she spat. "And you don't know the half of it, the Dark Lord is still alive in ways you could never know!" she spat, now on the inside feeling worried. She hadn't said things like this in ages, what had changed her, the old Bella was poking through, she couldn't figure out why she felt so strong and compelled to rebel against these Professors. She didn't want to be pictured weak, it was her sin of pride.

"I'm sorry, but do you really expect us to be scared of a silly little girl who thinks she is more than what she is? Please. I have dealt with worse students than you." Professor Weiss replied, looking at the other professor with curiosity. She had not seen him before around, but she really had not been here too long.

"I think you underestimate me! And that is always a fault of know-it-all Professor for they truly miss the things going on behind closed doors."

"Voldemort is a dead piece of meat rotting in some unforsaken pit; get over it." Gabriel knew that this girl was on probation; why, all of a sudden, was she speaking to people like this. "I suggest you change your attitude, girl, because you're not going to get very far in this world with that terrible one that you possess."

"Y-You speak his name!" she shouted, "How dare you! And why should I listen to you. Give me one good reason!"

"A name is a name," Gabriel said, rolling his eyes, "For one, I can land your little bratty backside in detention. And, you're going to be stuck taking Charms classes with me for the rest of this year." He shrugged his shoulders mock-whimsically, smirking; he wasn't going to stoop to the level of a thirteen year old brat.

Gabriel rolled his eyes. He was considering just putting the girl in detention and getting over with it, but he was still trying to figure her out. "You should be," he said sarcastically, starting to turn away.

Professor Weiss rolled her eyes at the girl's attitude. "I believe it is time to return to your house now, Ms. Green. Do you need to be escorted?" She said this rather snottily, sick of the attitude this girl was giving them.

"To be frank Professor, I won't be returning to my house," she snapped heading the opposite direction.

Finding it a pity that he hadn't taken any points from her house, Gabriel made a mental note to keep his eye on the Green girl, and turned to Professor Weiss. "I am sorry about that; I did not get your name." He held out his hand to her for a handshake, his expression a little more pleasant. "I am Gabriel Lloyd, Charms Professor," he introduced in his New York accent.

Professor Weiss glared at the girl's back. She would be watching out for her as the year progresses. She then smiled at the other professor and shook his outstretched hand. "Belladonna Weiss, Muggle Studies. Very nice to meet you, although it would always be better under better circumstances." Belle added a slight giggle at the end of the sentence, more out of relief of it being over.

Gabriel smiled back at Professor Weiss, saying, "It is very nice to meet you also." He raised his eyebrow, having listened to her accent, and asked, "Are you American?"
