November stepped off the train from school happy to get the chance to visit with her Aunt and Uncle before heading back to the states for Christmas. She was not too sure to explain her past semester at school to her Aunt Sarah. So much had happened that November was overwhelmed by the semester, hoping the next would not bring so many memories she wished she could forget. She had done perfectly in all her classes overall, despite a few mistakes here and there. But outside of classes were a nightmare in November's mind. She knew she could talk to her Aunt about anything but she was nervous to do so. Looking around she spotted her Aunt waiting at the usual spot and she waved heading over to greet her. "Aunt Sarah!" November said a big grin on her face, Sarah was really the only one in the family who really understood November, even more than her father whom she was most like. "I've missed you, how are the girls?" She asked knowing her aunt was the proudest about her two young daughters. November loved her nieces and she couldn't wait to see where they were going to be sorted in a few years. She hoped they would be Hufflepuffs like herself so she could show them around the Common Room and dorms. November already felt at home standing with her Aunt on a street corner, the women's presence having always brought a calming vibe to November. She turned and saw a few of her friends heading off various directions on their way home, some having a parent picking them up and others were going about things on their own it seemed. November held her breathe as her aunt was answering her but her eyes were on Flavio. They had danced at the ball! It had been exciting but she wasn't really sure what to think of the whole thing, after all it had been meant to be a dance with Matthew, not Flavio.

Sarah gathered herself from the coffee shop she was sitting in after looking at the time. November, her niece, would be getting off the train very soon and she was going to be there when November came out. Her niece was a perfect little thing in her mind, reminded Sarah of her sister, November's mother when she was young. November was much like her, not so much in personality, the girl being fairly quiet, even when around just her own family. Sarah herself, was a much louder and present character and always hoped November would fold out of her shell at some point but she understood things were hard for November at the moment. Her sister's family did not really understand November being a witch, much like her own parents hadn't really understood Sarah being a witch. They accepted it but it had been very weird for her parents and it was surprising to Sarah that November ended up being a witch. Walking to the corner she stood tall even though she was shorter than some. She smiled as November came out and bounding over to her, and pulled the young child into a hug. She leaned over smiling at November's smile and pinched the girl's cheeks a little. "Oh November, it's wonderful to see you again! The girls are doing very well, they are quite excited to see you, they are enjoying summer break that's started for them," Sarah told her niece letting her go from her hug and cheek pinches. "Come, let's head towards home? Are you hungry? We could stop and get a lunch before we go home, not much in the pantry at the moment. I know you enjoy shopping at the store and saved it till you arrived to go," Sarah said with a laugh. November was very much an organized type of person and seemed to enjoy making lists and checking things off. "I missed you as well," she added remember that was how her niece started her question.

November was happy to be in her Aunt's arms once more. She was glad to hear the girl's were enjoying their summer holidays, November was excited to get the chance to enjoy the summer before being sent back to her real home that was in the middle of Winter. She wondered if she'd be able to convince her Aunt to allow her to come back to New Zealand earlier just so she'd get more of a chance to enjoy summer as she enjoyed that time of year much more than winter. She accepted the women's hug and sighed. "I guess I am a bit hungry," November admitted, having not bought a snack on the train and she hadn't thought to take more with her after breakfast that morning. She was glad her Aunt was such a wonderful person. She grinned as she brought up the grocery shopping. "Really? You did? That sounds fun, shall we go through tonight and make a list?" November questioned her Aunt. She laughed as the woman told her she had missed her as well. She wondered what her Aunt was getting up to these days, no longer being a teacher at the muggle primary school. She knew her Aunt was interested in a variety of things and raising two girls, but what else she did was something she didn't really know about. As they walked November thought to bring up Flavio to her Aunt, to ask her Aunt about the situation. But, it might mean she'd have to bring up Amber and she didn't really want to do that. Maybe if she just left that situation out it would be fine. "Aunt Sarah? Did you have crushes while you were in school?" November asked looking up to her Aunt.

Sarah took her niece's arm as they began to walk down the road. She was glad the girl sounded excited to go shopping with her later, she was sure to make sure to let November picked out something she wanted herself. Sarah always tried to make her niece feel welcome at her house, the girl even had her own room as she often came to their house during breaks, rather than go all the way back to America as the girl enjoyed more to fly in airplanes rather than other methods. She wondered if it was different now that she was already. Sarah was certain that the students at Hogwarts New Zealand took a lot of field trips and would used methods like port keys and there was also the floo network that could be used. But, she thought November might still prefer the muggle methods just for the ease of her family members. Sarah hoped November would continue to love and live in both worlds as she got older as Sarah tried to do herself. She never really understood why some wizards were so against muggles, the truth is that everyone a bit of muggle in them no matter how small, even those so-called purebloods. Sarah herself, was born and went to Hogwarts Scotland long after the last Death Eaters battled against the staff and students at the school, she had thought it very interesting when they learn about it in school. "A Crush?" She questioned the young girl. She took a moment to think back and also calculate how old November was, 14. She thought that was a prime time to start being interested in boys, but she wondered who her shy niece would like. Sarah hoped it wouldn't be the top Quidditch player or someone like that. That type of boy wouldn't be the best, she would need someone who was calmer and that enjoyed reading just as much as November did. "I suppose I did like a few boys, your Uncle was once just a crush in fact!" She said with a laugh remembering all the times she'd follow her husband through the halls before they became an item. "I used to have a very large crush on him thinking about it. Here we are," Sarah said opening the door to a little dining place letting November go in first.
