Veronica walked into her dormitory at three in the morning, still dressed in her Halloween costume which she had been wearing at the Halloween party tonight. The night of October 31st had brought with it the most horrifying truth that she had just discovered and had changed her life, she was pregnant. Her purple and black make up had been smeared and washed over her face as she had been crying for the past hour, begging her boyfriend to accept the child. Ex her mind reminded her and once again she broke into sobs. Realizing that she did not want to disturb her best friend Sally who was asleep in her dorm she walked out of her room after getting herself a bottle of vodka that she had been saving for a good occasion.
Walking into another room she broke into sobs as the truth sunk in, Joshua had broken up with her, she had loved him but he didn't want the baby or didn't want to get married to her,and she had fallen in love with him. As more tears came down her eyes she tried to forget it all by drowning herself with alcohol because she had finished half the bottle but the truth was too harsh, she could not handle it.
