Levitating the crate containing the Quidditch equipment and broom in on hand, Ezekiel journey down to the cold weather and onto the almost snowed covered field. Everything was set up perfectly now for the school Qudditch team and all he needs are players, good players. Posting up flyers around the castle, he hopes to find enough people to join. Putting down the crate, Ezekiel manage to melt a portion of the snow in the middle of the field by a hot air charm. A few minutes of waiting and his schoolmates started to pile up in front of him. Ezekiel smiled to them warmly, "Hello, everyone! My name is Ezekiel Eindhoven and I'm the captain." He introduce himself not because no one doesn't know him, it's because there might be first years trying out. "Anyways, welcome to our first try out of the year. Before taking off into the air, please, state your name and the position you want to try out. I am also looking for a co-captain, so, people ... do your best." A little pep talk to his future team, he released the bludgers first, then the snitch and last the quaffle.

Took me hours but yep, this is happening. Any year level can join. As stated in this post, please be honest and stick with your year level because once you're in the team your year level and game statistic stays. You could always PM me or Skype for any questions

Emma had long been a fan of courage but had always lacked the confidence to play, after spending the summer in New Zealand with her uncle where she practiced with him a lot her confidence in her ability had never been higher. The fifth year kept her breakfast light and headed down to the pitch for the tryouts. When she arrived at the pitch the captain was waiting and one by one others started to arrive too. Emma took a deep breath and walked over to the boy. "Emma Barnes, trying out for chaser," She said confidently.

With her new broom in hand she made her way over to the other chasers and waited her turn. When it came Emma mounted her broom and rose into the air clutching the quaffle under her arm. She did her best to stare down the keeper as she prepared to take her shots. Her first shot didn't feel right as it released from her hand but she must have done something right as it easily went into the middle hoop after the keeper dived the wrong way. Emma let out a sigh of relief, she would need to do better. She did, by her own estimates her second shot was brilliant. Emma fooled the keeper by flying one way only to cut back and simply drop the quaffle into the hoop on the far side, she struggled not to smile as she lined up for the next one. Emma came crashing back down to earth when she missed shot number three but she needed to remain focused. The next two shots were both successful, one was just beyong the keepers reach and into the hoop, her final shot was the most nerve wracking as it hit the inside of the hoop before deciding it would go in. Emma flww back to the ground and handed he quaffle to the next person. "Thank you," She said to the captain.

Valor Snow was more than happy to see that there would be try outs. He bid his best friend goodbye, which was Dove Williams, before heading down to the pitch. He had Quidditch in him. His dad used to play! It just bothered him that he was born out of a mistake, but also relieved that his mom married his dad after his uncle died. Valor wondered if his twin would be down there as well. He arrived to see a girl for a captain. This did not bother him at all. Girls were really cool. But then he saw that the girl was introducing herself and her position. Oh, the boy was the captain! Whoops. He approached him as he said, "Valor Snow, trying out for chaser!" He mounted his broom, and took off into the skies. He flew around for a few laps to get warmed up. It was his turn for the quaffle. He smirked as he held it up before he soared with it, tucked under his arm. He soared toward the keeper, and let the quaffle loose. The quaffle soared through the hoop effortlessly. Valor pumped his fist into the air. He got ready and tried another four times. He managed to go through four out of five. It was fairly good. Valor hoped that he impressed the captain enough. He didn't care about the co-captain spot. He just wanted to play. He landed and tossed the quaffle to the next person.

Grace was excited for this day. She had always loved flying and loved following Quidditch matches, so the possibility of being able to take part of a team really appealed to her. She was a little nervous, but didn't show it as she made her way over to the Quidditch Pitch, she was going to show them what she was worth.

Her nerves only increased as she watched two others try out first, both were trying out for chaser like her, and both were very good. They needed three chasers, but there could be ten more behind her to show their skills. She had to stand out. "Grace Holland, trying out for chaser." She told the captain with a smile.

The boy before her tossed the quaffle her way and she caught it before mounting her broom. As soon as she was in the air, it felt like she had left her nerves behind her on the ground. Flying felt like freedom, and she could finally focus on her goal. She sped towards the hoops and focused on where she wanted the quaffle to land. She threw, and it went straight through the hoop she had aimed for. Though, the keeper nearly stopped it. She cursed herself for not paying more attention to the keeper and vowed to do that more on her next try. The second shot hit the inside of the hoop but it still managed to stay inside. The third was blocked. The last two went perfect, though, and she hoped they would be more memorable than the one that she missed.

She landed and handed the quaffle to the next person, though she hoped they wouldn't need it because they weren't trying for chaser. "Good luck!"

It was early morning, well early for Yue who usually tried to stay in bed until at least noon. She had even rearranged her schedule to do so. It was funny really because now, she was outside on her way to the Quidditch pitch and she doubted if it was even ten o'clock yet. In fact, she was pretty much sure of it. She smiled to herself as she made her way onto the pitch and noticed the Quidditch Captain. She nodded to the younger boy before stopping in a decent area and dropping her broom. She moved closer to Ezekiel and introduced herself. "Hey, I'm Yue Aurelious, but you can call me just Yue and I will be trying out for Seeker." She told the boy as she mounted her broom and awaited further instructions before seeing the snitch and chasing after it. The Snitch was right in front of her hand. She could almost feel the tickle of the wings on the tips of her fingers. She snarled at it as she missed it and continued to fly. She knew that it wasn't going to be easy and she was very right. Though she wished she was wrong right now. The snitch flew upwards and Yue did likewise. She had her right hand stretched to grab the snitch but it circled the field faster than Yue thought the snitch was capable of. So she had both of her hands on the broom holding tightly so she could follow the snitch everywhere it went.

Yue suddenly thought of something, but she didn't know if it would work. The snitch was pretty smart, so she was going to have to try really hard and hope that it wasn't too smart for this to work. Yue hid behind one of the posts and stopped chasing the snitch. The snitch stopped circling, it was being very still. Yue listened silently, trying to assess exactly where it was and when an opportunity arose, she grabbed that opportunity and had her right hand ready to grab the snitch and ... Of course! the snitch was foolproof and circle on her broom and Yue went upside down. She regained her balance as soon as the snitch flew to her left and she followed. She flew fast. faster than the snitch and there! She lost her balance and fell on the ground. She had a contented smile on her face because ALAS! the snitch was in her right hand. She stood and walked toward Ezekiel, "Here is your Snitch, Captain." She was quite proud of herself.

Looking around at the others in the group, waiting to try out for the new Beauxbatons team, it was obvious that Soohye was the youngest here. She had only just turned thirteen years old, and this was her first chance to try out for a quidditch team. Watching the older students go through and take their positions, one by one attempting to showcase their best practise, Soohye grew increasingly nervous. What if she couldn't do it? Despite her small frame, the girl was strong. There was a competitive streak in the Kendall family too, which had certainly not failed to skip the second year. She would only try her best.

Dressed in the most appropriate outfit she could muster, she approached the boy who was organising the try-out. "I'm Soohye Kendall-Wu. Can I try out for Beater?" She asked, before being handed a bat. It was certainly a daunting prospect, to be in charge of the most dangerous item on the field, but Soohye believed she had what it took for her teammates to trust her, and be able to defend them. She mounted her broom, and kicked up off the ground, steading herself with the weight of the wood and iron bat in one hand. She noted that as the only one on the pitch, it was a probably a good thing given that if this did go horribly wrong, she didn't want to injure of of her classmates. After a few moments, Soohye turned her head to the left and saw it. The bludger was flying fast, straight for her. Raising her right arm, bat outstretched behind her, she took a large breath of air and whacked it as hard as she could, off in the opposite direction. She smiled to herself, pleased she'd managed to hit it at all. Clearly her dancing training had paid off with her ability to have good coordination. She flew a little further on her broom, wondering if the second bludger had been released, and sure enough she heard the familiar whistle as it came whizzing through the air towards her. Although she had very little time to prepare for it this time, she successfully hit it away from her once more, knocking it into the direction of the hoops. She would certainly need to practise her aim, but hitting it appeared to be no problem. She flew back down to the ground, and approached the Captain. "Thanks" she added, skipping past him and off to the changing rooms. She didn't want to hang around and discuss her chances with anyone. She was happy to believe she'd done well, and she had a chance.

Peter trudged across the snowy Quidditch field to the patch of grass the captain had cleared. Letting out a breath of mist, he tightened his grip on his broom, thankful for the new gloves he'd bought in preparation for this day. He'd been watching games at home in England for years but he'd never gotten the chance to play as part of an actual team before, and he wanted to make sure that everything went according to the plan he'd been going over in his head. As soon as tryouts had been announced, Peter had buried his head in all the strategy books he could find, as well as practicing his flying skills at any opportunity. He was as prepared as he could be. Now all he had to do was perform his best in front of the captain.

Stepping up, he cleared his throat before saying firmly, "Peter Lee-Prescott, trying out for Beater." The position had always been the obvious choice to him. It might have nothing to do with scoring points, but the strategy a Beater had to employ to help the game go in his team's favour was crucial in his opinion - it usually wasn't good enough to just swing a bat around and hope for the best. Taking one of the school bats, Peter mounted his broom and kicked off into the air easily. He'd been practicing flying with one hand for a while, and he shifted his balance on the broom to accommodate for the weight of the bat, quickly falling into a comfortable position. Reaching a height level with the goal posts, he began looking around for the bludgers, knowing that a passive beater who just waited around had less control over the vicious balls, and therefore less control over the game. Spotting one further down the pitch he wasted no time in heading for it, not waiting for it to take notice of him. Quickly scanning the rest of the pitch as he flew, he couldn't see the other bludger, which meant that it was either above or behind him. Keeping his ears trained for any sound of whistling, he dove towards the bludger he could see which had finally starting heading towards him. The key with bludgers was to just go for it - you couldn't hesitate or wimp out, you had to face them head on in order to use them for your own purpose. Lifting the bat, he stopped pushing forwards with his broom, letting the bludger come the rest of the way towards him, and once it was close enough he hit the ball with a loud crack, sending it hurtling away to the spot in the stands he had been aiming for.

Checking to make sure it wasn't about to loop back on him, Peter swung around to discover the whereabouts of the other bludger, frowning when he couldn't see it. It would be important to know where everyone was in a game, as well as the bludgers, and it was while he was busy trying to envision other players around him that he almost got caught off-guard. As it was, when he heard the unmistakable whistling streak up on his left he didn't even have time to properly turn towards it, he just had to swing the bat and trust his reflexes. He managed to send the bludger hurtling off behind him, but he wasn't too pleased with the lack of strength and aim he had achieved. Frowning, he returned to the ground to give back the bat, hoping the captain wouldn't think he had zoned out, and nodded at the guy before leaving. He'd done all he could now, but he still kept replaying that last hit over and over in his mind, grimacing as he did so.

Certainly, Brendan Fulke looked forward to the Beauxbatons Quidditch Try-outs since the beginning of the year. The boy, while still only a third year, had been flying from the age of three, initially practicing on a low-hovering toy broom, followed by matches of Shuntbumps with the other wizarding children in his town, a simple game of knocking the other kids off of their brooms until the last one left was announced the victor, before graduating to Little League Quidditch from the age of six to eleven, when he was accepted into the French academy. Since then, flying became an easier practice, with a large open pitch and without the worry of non-magical interference getting in the way. Flying fell into a daily routine, he was more than familiar with a broom, and the prospect of playing in another competitive sport was exciting.

Passing by the Flamel Fountain, Brendan hitched his broomstick over his shoulder, one he owned himself rather than use one of the scrappy school-provided sticks with missing bristles. His attire, despite the cold, was sleek and limited wind resistance, allowing him to move smoothly in the air. A simple chain hung from his neck, tucked into his shirt, at the end of which held a small magical orb that released a field of warmth around him, shielding the boy from the bitter Winter air. If he was to do his best, he didn't want to allow anything to risk his performance. After all, there were limited spaces on the team, and he couldn't afford to lose his spot.

Arriving on the pitch, it's previously snow-coated field now cleared to reveal the grass underneath, Brendan lined himself up with the other try-out members, uncomfortable with the amount of upperclassmen present. There were plenty of fifth and sixth year students competing, but then again, he told himself, that didn't necessarily mean that they were experienced players. He'd have no trouble proving himself. Catching sight of another girl in his year settled the nerves he had at being one of the younger students present, and he gave her a small thumbs up after finding out she wasn't aiming for the same position he was.

"Salut! Brendan Fulke, trying out for Chaser." The redhead stated with confidence to the current captain, clutching at the broomstick on his shoulder and dropping it back down to his side. It wasn't long before they took to the air, and before he knew it, the quaffle was tucked tightly under his arm, his other hand steering the tip of his broom toward the hoops at the end. His first shot was a fake out, his focus diverted to the left most hoop while his arms served the leather-bound ball to the far right, hitting the inside of the hoop on its way through, before rolling on through to the other side. He grinned and swooped back, taking the ball back into his possession once the Keeper had returned it to play. His second shot started much like his first, his attention stuck on the left most hoop. The Keeper expected a similar shot to his first, another fake-out that had worked so well the first time, only for Bren to shoot through the leftern-most hoop as the Keeper moved to block the right. He cheered, content with his play so far, and gathered up the quaffle for a third shot, one that was blocked, to his dismay. However, the following few came with a higher rate of success than failure, and eventually it came time to return to the ground, pleased with his performance and hoping that it was enough to earn him a position.

Karlie liked quidditch as much as the next magical person, but since it was her second year she was finally able to try-out and though the young girl didn't expect to get on the team she just wanted to do her bit for the school, be on the team and just try her best. The colourful girl had even gotten the safe dye and changed her hair to a vibrant blue colour to match the team's colours, she was walking with the broom in her hand and bright excitable expression sitting on her face. The young girl who'd been looking forward to this day since forever, since the very first day she got to the school, and she was very keen on being on the team. So she stood with the rest of those hopefuls and waited until the instructions had been given. The beautiful palace behind them as they stood on the pitch. Karlie just wanted to get up into the air and then immediately after tell her father all about it. So when the moment finally came she stepped forward, "Karlie Dunia, for seeker," the girl said confidently in her slightly accented french. Karlie had been born in France to French Canadian parents both of who were huge travellers and immediately moved to India where Karlie had spent the first ten years of her life before returning to France before her first year of school.

The blue haired girl got on to her broom and shot up into the air a little unsteady as she shot off. The girl was mostly just startled by the speed of the broom, admittedly, Karlie had to say that she hadn't practiced much over the break and her skills given that she was so young were lacking in a number of areas, but she was able to fly up into the air, and steady herself before setting about the task of finding and catching the snitch. The girl flew around for a while, keeping herself attentive to the actions around her but also looking out for the important snitch which she was required to catch. The girl eventually spotted the glinting of gold in the sun and she rushed forward, but before she could catch it, it flew off again and Karlie was back to square one. However, what was good was that it didn't take much longer than when that had happened for her to have found the snitch and this time successfully catch it in her hand. Karlie flew down and excitedly gave it to the captain, hoping that she'd done enough to get on to the team, she didn't need to be starting she just wanted to be on it.

Everyone who would like to join up, you have until January 20th to post. That'll be plenty of time. Don't be discourage because it may seems the team is complete but that's not how I'm picking the main roster :)

Liesl jumped to the shower after jogging for approximately 30 minutes. She had always been an active girl and boy was she glad that Beauxbaton quidditch try out is finally here. She is a WADA transfer and played as a seeker in her previous school. Right after shower the fourth year Beauxbaton took her blue jacket and sweat pants and ran to the quidditch field. She summoned her nimbus and walked toward the group. "Liesl Huberta, trying out for seeker" she got on her broom and flew up to the sky. The girl had her own method of playing as a seeker. She trained her hearing sensitivity skill and had always been a great gymnast since she was at a very young age. These two skills were essential for Liesl. The brunette closed her eyes as the sound of the wind dominated the voice in the heavens. Soon the snitch was release and Liesl quickly open her eyes and observed the pattern of the snitch. True that snitches flew in random direction but any random movement would be considered as patterns to Liesl. She listened to the tiny flapping sound of the wings of the snitch and quickly flew toward the snitch. The snitch was ridiculously random, when it turned to the left, Liesl followed it. The golden snitch flew down, right bellow Liesl. brunette moved back to the back to the end of her broom and held the broom with her thigh tightly, snaking her legs to it. Her hand went down to the snitch in a high speed and quickly catch it right after she flipped down in an upside down position. Liesl did a quick loop to stabilize her broom and flew down slowly, when she was one and a half meter away from the ground, the girl jumped off her broom and dangled on it with a hand, swung, did a quick salto, and landed. The girl walked toward the captain and handed him the snitch. "Good day captain" Liesl nodded her head and left the field

Jessica was running late to Quidditch try outs so the fourth year was running towards the pitch, already seeing a large gathering crowding around. By the time she arrived, someone was already speaking and though she didn't get to hear him introduce himself, she could tell by the way he was instructing everyone that he was the captain. She tried to calm down her hard breathing after all the running and hated that she already made a bad first impression by barely making it to the tryouts on time, but she hoped to make up for it with her skills.

Sica watched others trying out, impressed with some and eagerly impatient for her turn to fly. When it was her turn, she put her broom down on the floor and picked up her cotton candy hair into a ponytail. She liked its bright color because it was often distracting and most people underestimated her with pink hair. She knew she looked too sweet to cause damage so she used this to her advantage. That is why she loved her position the most. "Jessica Park, trying out for Beater," she said proudly to the captain.

Once he gave her the signal to start, Sica mounted her broom with her bat in hand and kicked off the ground hard. She rose into the air and did a lap around the pitch, letting the Bludgers get situated around in the air. Once she heard the whooshing sound of a bludger heading towards her, Jessica readied herself and whacked the bludger off course. She flew up away from its direction but the second bludger was following her closely behind. She glanced over her shoulder seeing the bludger trailing her, getting closer, and leaned forward trying to speed up. Then she turned sharply and used the force of her turn to help put impact behind her bat as she hit the bludger, forcing it back. Jessica continued to fly around the hoops, hitting the bludgers as they kept coming. Since she was the only one up in the air for her try out they were only targeting her so she had to be aware of her surroundings at all times. Once a bludger knocked her into the goal posts, but she didn't let that discourage her as she began to chase it hoping to hit it back. Once she caught up with the ball she took her other hand off her broom, gripping tight with her knees, and used both hands to swing it as far away as possible.

Once she heard a whistle telling her that was enough, Sica flew down back down to the ground, jumping off her broom and then letting her bat fall to the ground softly. She saw the captain getting the bludgers back into their box because they wouldn't be needed until another beater wanted to try out. Sica let go of her bright pink hair from its ponytail and shook her hair out loose and then grinned at the captain, hoping she did well enough to get a spot on the team just like her brother had done in his time at Beauxbatons.
