Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice Y41 S2

More determined than ever, Eren ignored the aches from the bludgers and grabbed the quaffle again. If Florence managed a goal he was going to get one too.

Xenia lifted her head, tired but determined. She kind of wanted Eren to score but she also didn't want to slack off, or look like she was going easy on the chasers. After all, if she gave it everything she had the Hogwarts keeper would seem like a joke in comparison, surely.

Florence followed behind Eren as he caught the quaffle.

Eren kept an eye on Florence as she followed him to the hoops. She was probably expecting a pass or something, but he wanted to make the goal on his own. He groaned as his shot went wide around, turning his broom sharply to wait for the quaffle to be thrown back out yet again.

Élise was loving how it was going. The game was going great. She spotted another bludger, but once she was near the bludger was gone.

Xenia threw the quaffle back out, wiping her brow. She wondered if she'd be allowed to wear sunglasses on the pitch, but figured that was probably not a great idea.

Gemma decided to give the team a bit of a break and kept an eye out for bludgers so she could keep them away.

Florence got a hold of the quaffle when it was thrown back into the game, before circling around and making her way back to the hoops. She had hoped that the chasers could have a better chance at scoring soon.

Eren wondered if Xenia was getting as tired as he was starting to feel. He'd been not so subtly nudged into playing Quidditch to help get rid of his excess energy, but tired or not he didn't intend to slow down until he got a goal, following at Florence as she took the quaffle.

When Flo was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the hoops with as much determination as she could, but the quaffle didn't make it through the hoops.

Gemma kept her eye out for bludgers.

Ava watched the chasers for a minute before focussing her attention back on the bludgers.

Xenia didn't want to admit she was tired, stopping the quaffle and throwing it back into play. Quidditch was the main thing she had at Beauxbatons, so she had to work hard to be good at it.

Gemma was starting to feel some fatigue along her arms and knew practice couldn't be too much longer.

Xenia whistled a tune quietly, some song a cousin was getting really into over the break that kept worming its way into her head. She did a slow circle in front of the hoops, just to keep herself moving.

Gemma stayed close to Hugo and kept a look out for bludgers.

Eren thought it would make him feel better when Florence missed her next shot, but really he wasn't about to feel happy until he'd made his own goal, shooting forward to grab the quaffle as Xenia threw it back in.

At this point, Xenia wasn't even sure if she was doing a good job or a bad job. She thought she was doing pretty well as a keeper but it was also kind of hard when you had to keep against your own teammates.

Florence followed close behind Eren as he caught the quaffle.

Eren was keeping too much of an eye on Florence as she followed him towards the hoops and not enough on which hoop Xenia was guarding, rolling his eyes at himself when he practically just passed the quaffle to Xenia instead of the hoop he'd been aiming for.

((i feel like i should stop pressing the alert button at this point i'm so sorry))

Xenia didn't have to work as hard as she thought she might for that one, but tossed the quaffle back out in to play with as much strength as she could muster and yelled out some generic encouragements in Greek. Which probably meant nothing to anyone else on the field but it just slipped out most of the time.

Florence got a hold of the quaffle when it was thrown back out. The girl circled round back towards the hoop.

Xenia pushed a rogue strand of hair out of her eyes and readied herself.

When Florence was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle as hard as she could, and it successfully made it through the hoop!
