Beater Practice

[Ford Harkonnen]

"Very nice," Ford said happily as came to a stop right beside Kaela, "You've got quite the arm." He said and cocked his head to the side. He saw the bludger regaining itself, and it began to loop around back towards them, "It's coming back." Ford said warningly. The bludger was now screaming towards them at full speed, it quickly decided to aim for Kaela and went right for her.

Kaela's smile disappeared when Ford said the bludger was coming back and she turned to face it. Pulling back her arm she swung and smacked the bludger with her bat once more. "Phew, that was close," she said, almost having missed the bludger, but sending it toward the other side of the pitch.

"Very nice arm," Ford said sincerely as the bludger made a wide u-turn and realigned itself to accelerate towards Ford and Kaela extremely quickly. Ford positioned himself straight in the path of the ball and shot off quickly. He adjusted his course so that he was a few degrees off the bludger's trajectory . The two passed each other very quickly, but the bludger didn't take the bait and continued for Kaela unwaveringly.
