Basking in each other's pain

After Sam's birthday party, which had been sort of fun. Jenn said her good byes to her friends but told Scorpius that she would meet him in twenty minutes so she could dash back and get his gift and her broom because she did plan on flying afterwards, whether it was with Scorpius or not didn't matter to her at all.

When she returned to the grounds she mounted her broom, gripping the neck with one arm and carefully cradling the silver wrapped present. Jennifer arrived at the pitch and as she made a very quick scan of the grounds of the pitch and the air she didn't see Scorpius, so she flew quickly above the stands, assuming he would be sitting there.

Jennifer flew slowly around them, her eyes making sure she picked out the black hair that belonged to her best friend.

Before they had all celebrated Sam's birthday Scorpius and Jenna had made an agreement to meet up somewhere afterward, so after spending time with Sam and his friends, and Taylor, Scorpius had to admit he was rather looking forward to leaving to catch up with Jenna. The two had decided to meet up at the Pitch so after saying goodbye to everyone at Sam's birthday, nearly overlooking Taylor, Scorpius went over to the Pitch in the same outfit he was wearing earlier.

He walked all the way up to the stands, because he was hardly ever at the stands, he was on the team so he was almost always on the pitch practicing with his team, or by himself, or playing a game. He had to admit it felt a little weird to be at the stands, it was definitely a different view of the game, if there were to be a game going on at the time, but he appreciated the change. Finally after a while he noticed someone below, mounting a broom and then flying around for a bit. He noticed her bright blonde hair and knew it had to be Jenn. He motioned to her to come over his way, smiling lightly as he waited for her to show up.

Jenn spotted Scorpius as he indicated for her to join him. She grinned and sped up, flying over to the place in the stands he currently was. Swiftly she jumped off while still flying towards Scorpius, instead of touching down properly. When she was on her feet, she smiled and sat down beside Scorpius. "Hey Scorpius," she murmured warmly as she handed him his present, deciding she would bring up her confusion on his and Taylor's actions towards each other later.

The present was just star charts and a new beaters bat but she didn't have much time to shop for his present because she had been a little busy but it was alright, Sam hadn't gotten anything more than that, in fact she was sure that she had spent a little more time on Scorpius' present.
