<FONT font="Georgia">Daniel held his trusted wand to his face and peered around the column. His target for today was a girl, in fifth year. The boy was not sure of her name, nor did he care that much. Robin was currently playing a game with Batman. It involved ranking and points. Dan was very serious about his games, especially since Batman has beaten him three times. Robin had to catch up! When he realised that he was drawing unwanted attention to himself, Danny smiled and walked through the halls behind the girl innocently. He doubted that anyone here trusted him. He was sure he had done something to upset them at one point or another. Whether it be tripping them, accioing their books away, locking their legs together or going all muggle on them and tripping them with some rope in strategic places. They were the funnier ones. Batman would be a distraction, making a group of students run somewhere for what ever reason, which Robin would set up the rope and BAM. Five students down at once. That was like... 500 points for both of them. Group activities were so nice. Danny loved performing pranks with Batman, rather than performing them solo against Batman. Daniel smiled a little when he remembered when they had first met. Back then, Daniel had never thought of calling himself 'Robin'. He had never heard of the name before, other than for a bird. However, now he was actively using it to refer to himself. He even wrote it on a paper once. His Transfiguration professor had grown to live with it. Batman had really opened his eyes to stuff. Dan had at first thought that he was a little strange, and far too quiet. These days, Daniel rarely felt that Batman was awkward. He was so outgoing now, and he was playing these games. Daniel's own cousin rarely had anything to do with him now, so he was relieved to find that Batman was such a great friend. He was way more fun than Warren was back in New Zealand.

Robin narrowed his eyes when he saw a professor walk down. He'd have to wait until they passed him by. It seemed like a thousand years before the professor turned the other corner, maybe because they knew that Daniel was probably up to no good. Daniel was at quite a distance from the girl. She had no idea that he was following her. She put her things down at a desk, including a quill. It was very childish, Robin knew this. But Transfiguration was his favourite subject. He often relied on Transfiguration to prank people. He flourished his wand. "Gemelitiar." The girl's book turned into a jewelry box. She immediately began looking around. Ducking behind a column, Daniel continued to pester the girl. "Scriopea." Her quill was now a spoon in her hand. This made her furious. However, Daniel quickly ran off to find another victim. A boy soon came to his attention. He was younger, perhaps in fifth year also? They were everywhere these days. However, he was not going to be Daniel's target today. He'd coped a lot yesterday. Robin wasn't that cruel. He passed the Muggle Studies room, and quickly backed up. It appeared to be empty. There was a kettle on the professor's desk. Daniel assumed that it was going to be shown to the class or something. Muggle tea kettles were so odd. Daniel's face grew rather cheeky, and he flourished his wand again, thinking carefully as he had done for the previous spells. "Torte." He then ran off, just in time to hear the Muggle Studies professor enter the room from the back. Obviously, they were not too happy with their kettle being turned into a tortoise.

When batman first learnt Levicorpus, he didn't know what he'd use it for. Since becoming friends with Daniel, it quickly became one of his most used spells. He always binged on spells when he returned to school after the holidays. He had been seventeen a while now but no matter how much he wanted to cast spells outside of school his mother refused to let him. Currently he and robin had a competition going where they had to prank students in order to get points. He never did anything drastic, nothing that involved a group of students unless Robin was involved.

Batman sang gibberish as he skipped down the halls, looking like the arrogant jerk he was before eventually running into his partner in crime. "Dude!" He shouted. "I made a fourth year cry! I totally beat you!" Bragging about his exploits was even better than the pranking itself. It felt really good to be great at something, even if it was having fun at other peoples expense. "I bet there's no way you can top that."

Robin slowed to a brisk skip as he rounded another corner. The Muggle Studies professor was still following him, but running thorugh the corridors was dangerous, and he'd be able to blend in more if he slowed down. He poked his head back around the corner, trying to spot the professor. He could see her looking around and she walked down another passage. What made it funny was the fact that she was carrying that tortoise around under her arm, instead of just transfiguring it back. Maybe she wanted to thank him for making such a great pet? He shrugged. Either way, he wasn't going to go back to her. She'd have to catch him. With a sigh of relief, Daniel turned back and began to add up his points. Transfiguring a fifth years book and quill was like... one hundred right there. Then a bonus because she was older. Older students were harder to prank than the younger ones, for obvious reasons. But transfiguring something that belonged to a professor? He wasn't quite sure about that one. It was extra funny since it was a tortoise, and they were amazing creatures. He'd have to talk to Batman about that one. Together, they'd be able to think up a good enough score for it. Robin finished calculating the rest of his score. It'd be a lot by now. Like a million or something. He'd have to tally. SUrely, Batman would have no-where near that much. Robin was determined to get his crown back, he could no-longer afford to lose to Batman. The stakes were much too high this year. Last year it was just swimming in a lake when it was freezing. In all honesty, it wasn't too bad. Daniel loved to swim in half-frozen lakes. The Seventh year tucked his hands into his jacket pockets as he wondered around more, searching for another victim.

Upon finding another fifth year, who happened to be a prefect or something. That would be total bonus points! Daniel pulled out his wand, ready to cast a spell. He leapt back, however, when he saw the Muggle Studies Professor (with their kettle tortoise) make another appearence. How unfortunate. Robin frowned and watched as the professor, prefect and tortoise left the scene, probably trying to hunt him down. "Awhh..." That was incredibly unfair. What would have happened if he turned the tortoise to stone, then back into a kettle? Would that work? The thought had crossed his mind, but now he couldn't see. He even had an incredible excuse for his antics, he always did. It was important to be able to throw a good excuse into the mix when you were in trouble, no matter how ludicrous the professor thought it to be. Robin began walking once more, and soon ran into his partner-in-crime. A large smile grew on his face as Batman began talking about his exploits. Making a fourth year cry?! That was amazing! Daniel rarely made his victim's cry, because he often remained at a distance, and who would cry over their quill becoming a spoon? Although, there was bound to be one out there. "That's amazing!" He then looked around and stepped closer to Batman. "Okay, so at first I was just transfiguring students stuff, but then I saw the Muggle Studies kettle left alone." He was sure Batman would know where this was going. Daniel had had his eye on that kettle for a long time, never had he had the chance to transfigure it into a tortoise, until today. "Let's just say our Muggle Studies professor has a lovely new pet I'd like to call Alfred." However, Daniel's smiled faltured a little when he heard his fullname being screamed through the hall. He slouched a little when he saw the professor storming closer, tortoise under her arm. It was hard to stop himself from laughing at the sight of 'Alfred' wiggling around for freedom. He quickly turned back to Batman. "Gotta run!" He knew that the professor could stop him from getting away, but there was just something about standing around, waiting for punishment that Robin could not stand. It was much more fun running away.

Batman couldn't help laughing, he knew where Robin's story was going as soon as he mentioned the kettle. He expected his friend transfigured it into another household object, something simple like a plate or spoon. So the mention of the word 'pet' caused him to laugh even harder. Transfiguration was too complicated to be part of Batman's pranking style, he preferred the more simple approach of humiliating people, with or without magic. Robin on the other hand brushed up on his Transfiguration skills in the process. Studying while pranking? If this wasn't grounds to call Robin a nerd, he didn't know what was. Batman couldn't resist calling his friend a nerd at the worst of times, but before he got his chance Robin made a getaway. Not a minute passed before Batman realized what was going on and ran along after him. Secretly, he wanted to get caught. Half the thrill of pranking was getting caught in the first place. That and the sweet satisfaction when he beat Robin at his own game. If the choice were up to him, he would have stayed just to see the professor's expression as he handed himself over. That would have been priceless. Why did Robin have to ruin his fun like that? He didn't want detention either, but getting a reaction from the professor was definitely worth a few hours punishment.

"You're a real butt head, you know that?" Batman said between breaths after they slowed to a stop. It felt like they ran to the other end of the school, but in reality it was only to the courtyard. Needless to say Batman was exhausted. He was also very annoyed right now, but refused to show it. Instead he distracted himself with a more serious matter. The matter of points. He wanted to know if he won, and how far ahead of Robin he was at this point. "So I got like a million." He began. "Making that girl cry is my winning factor, I know it is." He won against Robin last year and planned to do the same this year. The stakes were high, especially now that graduation was part of it. Neither of them had decided what the new punishment would be exactly, but Batman could already tell it was going to be bad. So bad in fact, last year's would be nothing in comparison. "What'd you get? Zero?" He taunted, landing a playful punch on his friend's shoulder. Batman was usually overconfident in his exploits, however as of late Robin had been a little too creative. He could tell if he didn't step up his game he'd be in danger of losing. Relying on simple pranks could only get him so far and he knew it, no matter how comfortable he was, he needed to mix things up in order to win.

OOC: sorry for the wait, and length, blah.
