Dressed in the most appropriate outfit for this type of occasion, Thane Vlahovic was on his way backstage to talk to the guitarist to Ares Moon. None other than one of his friends, sort of, well more like acquaintances to be honest. Thane had not talked that much to any of the band members, but he was known to others as a famous drummer however he had no band of his own. Why? Thane did not really see the point in being famous. He just loved music. Music was his in his blood and it was his only love. He did have another love however Death claimed her over a year ago. She may have been pregnant with his child, but there was a fatal car accident after they had an argument, and ever since then, Thane had felt guilty for possibly causing her so much anger that she was not watching where she was going. The fight was over whether or not he should stop drinking for the sake of their child, and he did not even know if she was pregnant, so of course he refused. She ended up getting so upset, she stormed out, with Thane calling after her in the night, and well, Thane never got over it. However his mind was not on that incident, it was on seeing the guitarist named Sebastion Rossi. He was the co-leader of the band, and it was one of Thane's favorites, even if there were girls singing it. It was not that he hated girls' singing, he just preferred males. It was nothing that he said out loud, even if he said a lot from his mind without thinking. He had stopped drinking completely, and thus, he had been smarter, and gaining some sense back. One needed that, especially to remember the drumming techniques that he knew. Thane could be a music manager if he wanted to, but he rather be with the music, playing it than telling others to do what he loved. As if on cue, Thane saw the door where he figured that Sebastian would be hanging out at. He did not really want a huge crowd with him, but even he had to hide himself from others.

Oh the pains of being a musician. All he wanted to do was see his good friend, but the press and everything else around was getting on his last nerves, but was that to be expected? Perhaps so. "My god, people are just nuts!" said the drummer in Croatian. Shaking his head, he gripped his VIP card and showed it to the guard before he went backstage. He had the door within seeing distance, but he had to get to it. Who knew how many others came to see the band. Thane bit his lip as he started to think on it a little more. Someone should not even be nervous about meeting with another musician, someone who had the same talents as he. Sure, Thane did not play guitar, but he was the thunder behind the music. The lightning was the guitar. Smiling a bit, he opened the door to see none other than Sebastian. The drummer could not really tell if he was sweaty, but after a show, Thane would need a shower or a lot of cologne to cover the smell up. Thane put one of his hands up before he said aloud with his thick Croatian accent, "Hey there, Sebastian!" Thane's black hair was a mess, but the young drummer hardly cared on how he looked. He was not here to impress a male, but rather to chill and relax. Thane had gone to college and knew all sorts of muggle and wizarding music. It was impressive, but Thane hardly told anyone what he studied, nor did he brag on how much he knew. "Great show, awesome as per always." He might not be able to give out pointers because it was definitely not his place - nor did the band need them anyway. Thane did notice that the band was lacking a rhythm guitarist, but it seemed like Sebastian was covering that quite well. Some of the best bands had just like, three members or four. Others had almost nine or ten members playing different instruments.

Even after having toured for a while, Sebastian was always surprised to see how the backstage area looked after a show. It was a wonder that he was given enough time to quickly change his outfit and use spells to clean themselves off. Bas would have Avada Kedavra-ed someone for a shower after their shows, but there simply was not enough time. Bas figured that he had to be grateful that no one had ever gotten through security and chanced upon their dressing rooms when they were changing. He had a feeling it would happen one day, but luckily that day had not occurred yet. It was as if the people with backstage passes knew exactly when the band members solitary time ran out or the security guards could no longer keep the tide of people away without risking harm to their own lives because before Bas knew it, the rooms were teeming with people. There never was enough space backstage in Bas's mind. Just in walking to the after-show room, Sebastian had banged into at least five people, two whom he was very certain wanted him to bang into them. They were women, about his age and scantily clad. Their giggles and throaty replies to his apologies were clearly part of some ploy to get the guitarist's attention. Sometimes it worked and Bas would stop and flirt, sometimes exchange numbers. Other times he would direct the ladies to Leo, knowing full well that Leo would be about as interested in the women as Bas was in shoe shopping. Tonight, he wasn't much in the mood to do either of those things.

Bas had discovered that backstage at a rock show was truly chaotic and he treasured the few quiet moments he could steal away before some journalist asked him if he and Fina were still an item or whether he ever considered leaving Ares Moon. Had the thought ever crossed his mind? Yup. But, he'd never seriously considered it. The truth was that he loved playing for people and although he was not fond of this, it was worth it. As the door opened again, Bas sighed, wondering how another body could fit inside the room. It wasn't until be realized who it was that a true smile came across his face, even reaching his eyes. "Thane. Long time no see" he said from across the room. He nodded as the guy complimented the show and turned to give the person next to him who was shoving a paper under his nose his autograph before attempting to go through the throng of people. When he reached Thane, Bas held up his hand in greeting. "Dude...crazy, right?" Bas chuckled.

Oh Thane knew all too well on how this was. Crowds and girls - oh the girls - but Thane was actually not very centered around them like some other rockstars because well, what happened with his last girlfriend did not really pan out as well as he had hoped. He still felt guilty over her death. Thane remembered well that she was a muggle-born girl, and everything was just peachy when they were together and in the muggle world. Thane actually had blood of muggles running through him, so that was probably why he fit in so well. Then again he did not know what blood was really running in him but he felt that he fit in better with wizards, but muggles made him feel comfortable too. Thane just wondered if Sebastian would even be able to make it through the crowds and over to him. The unknown part-veela man saw Sebastian light up when he saw Thane, and that made him feel like he was doing something good by coming to see him. Thane was always on the road, doing one thing or another. It was awful that he did not get to go to Quidditch games like he loved so much. His favorite team was the Vratsa Vultures and Transylvania, and he loved to watch them play their games. It was weird, but they were not even from his home country. Thane was sure that there was always something interesting to see when they were around and playing. Especially the latter with that one beater always cussing out everything under the sun. He loved games like that because a fight could break out at any point, same with concerts.

Thane too attempted to make his way through the people to come and see Sebastian, and he thought that he accidentally touched someone's rear on the way but he did not care. He hoped that there would be some sort of authority figure that would get the people out of here. Even Thane did not enjoy to be around a huge crowd like this. Thane almost wanted to get away from this, dodging the eyes of others so that they would not recognize him in the least bit. He hoped not, because he did not want to deal with it right now. He wanted to talk to Sebastian, a man that was just as into music as he was. That was not something that he found commonly in wizards for some reason. Thane shook Sebastian's hand in greeting and he laughed, "No kidding, man." They haven't been around for a long time, but he had not really kept in contact. He wished that he had, at least by owl. Thane would have to invest into an owl soon, but he did not know what kind yet. "Wow, well, expected no less. Hopefully shows aren't the only thing you've been up to." Thane wondered if that one article about Seraphina or something having a thing for Sebastian was true or not.

Seeing a genuinely friendly face amid the fakeness of the reporters and many of the girls was a welcome sight. Sebastian chuckled along with his friend. It had been a while since had last seen Thane and he couldn't believe that he had allowed so much time to pass by. Things with the band had been going really well and the band had been gaining new levels of fame, which was pretty apparent considering how crowded it was in the room. That meant that they were growing increasingly busy. It'd been a couple of weeks since Bas had gone home, but he'd kept in touch with his gran to make sure she was doing alright. Thankfully, he was getting along fairly well with his bandmates, especially Seraphina. Sometimes, though, it was cool to hang out with someone who he didn't see every day just for a nice change. Thane was definitely one of those people. He could speak about music with the guys for days. Sebastian loved being around people like that. People who he felt he could draw from creatively. Not to mention that the guy had some killer tattoos. Bas still had not gotten himself inked, a fact that many of his fans found surprising about him.

Sebastian heard his friend speak and found his eyes immediately drawn towards Seraphina. Ares Moon's backup singer and drummer was looking lovely as ever tonight. Yea, he'd been keeping himself busy alright, though there were definitely times when he wondered if anything would ever really come out of it. He was only slightly more unsure about how she felt about him than he was about his own feelings for her. Ever since Sebastian had let things with Amzurah fall apart, Sebastian had been afraid to get serious with anyone else. He no longer felt guilty about what had happened, but he still felt regret and knew that she would always be the one that he let go, the big 'what if' of his life. He'd kind of given up on the idea that he could love someone, but that didn't mean that he wasn't able to have fun sometimes. "I've been keeping busy with other things" he said with a smirk before shrugging his shoulders. Sebastian's biggest love was and would likely always be his music though. "I've been trying to write some songs lately, but I think I've gone into a bit of a slump." Sebastian raised his pierced eyebrow at his friend. "What have you been up to? Have you been performing?"

The drummer was so glad that he could talk with a friend, he could almost hug the guy, but Thane did not think that it would be appropriate. What he did and what others in bands did were two totally different worlds. Thane did not believe in sleeping around and everything like that. He was sure that Sebastian was not into the heavy wrong stuff too. Thane figured that he might be seeing a little more of Sebastian now that he had moved to New Zealand and purchased a shop, full of music too. It was incredible, and he could spend his time giving others his knowledge on the arts of music. Thane did not write many songs, but the ones that he did write, he kept them to himself because he would sing them at charities and things like that. The drummer hoped that Sebastian had a lot more news and things to talk about than he did, because Thane often did not find himself to be that interesting. His views were so... Well, he had very high standards. Some people just did not meet those. Sebastian most certainly looked different compared to Thane. Thane was practically covered in tattoos, but he did not have any piercings on his face, yet. He was going to get them done soon. Which reminded him, he had to ask Sebastian if his eyebrow piercing hurt a lot.

A chuckle escaped Thane and he confessed without really thinking, "I wish I could be busy with some other things." He then felt a wave of guilt wash over him but he did his best to brush it off because that happened years ago, he should be over it by now. Thane was ready to love again, but he figured that he should focus on himself first. He did not really know what happened in the department of his friend's but he did not think that he would dive into that. It was much too soon and everything. Thane heard Sebastian's issues, and he folded his arms across his chest. "Slump? Hmm." Sounded like a loss of spirit to him. He would probably need a nice night out before he could find it again. Thane was not too much of a song writer, but he could help out where he can. Thane shrugged and he answered with a subtle smile, "Well, other than the usual, meeting bands and performing at Quidditch games and stuff, I have bought a music store right here in New Zealand. Makutu Music or something like that. I think I will be slowing down on my travels. Performing is stressful, too many people want autographs and stuff. You know the feeling." Thane laughed a little bit, and he thought that opening up that store, or buying it rather, was one of the best decisions in his life. "I can see if I can help you out of the slump, but can't guarantee anything."

Sebastian chuckled at his friend's words. If only he knew. Sebastian listened to Thane as he spoke about how busy he'd been, and it truly did sound as if he'd been busy doing great things. Bas was thrilled for his friend. When he heard that Thane had been the music store at the mall in New Zealand, a huge grin crossed the guitarist's face. "Are you serious?" Sebastian asked before adding, "that's frickin awesome. I loved that place when I was in school. It's been years since I was there last..." Sebastian had spent a lot of time in that shop as a teen, especially once he'd learned where all the open floos were in the small French village that they visited during their weekends, and it was even where he'd met Amzurah. As always, thinking about her made Sebastian feel a little melancholy and he lost his smile for a brief second before regaining it. It had been a while since he'd last spoken to her, yet he knew he still wasn't over her nor did he know if he ever would be. Sebastian had not entered the Hog's Head since that day when he'd broken her heart and his own, and he'd recently heard from some of the old men that Amzurah was no longer there. Whether that had anything to do with him would remain a mystery, one that Bas knew he should simply forget but that he knew he would not. "Are you gonna redecorate the place?" he asked, hoping he would. He had a feeling that if Thane did decorate to put his own spin on the place, it would look rad. Sebastian listened to the drummer speak. He could certainly understand what Thane was saying, but he knew he wasn't ready to slow down just yet. He knew that day would come though and he could only hope that he had something cool to fall back on as Thane did. "You know you'll have a customer in me...provided I get the friend discount, of course" he added with a smirk.

Sebastian was glad to see that the crowd was beginning to thin slightly as the media and fans were escorted out so that only the VIPs, the band and their guests remained. This was when the real fun could begin because they were no longer under scrutinizing eyes. "Oh yea?" Sebastian asked, a curious look on his face. "Fair enough. What do you have in mind?" He honestly had no idea what Thane could do to help him pull of his slump, but he was willing to try anything, and whatever Thane could think up would likely be better than what he was currently doing to combat his block- nothing. Sebastian kept thinking that he would just wake up one day and the slump would be over. It had worked that way for him in the past. This slump was proving to be more stubborn though.

Thane did not know what all that Sebastian has gone through since he had last seen him, but he figured that he would be busy doing other things. But he did not think that it would be too bad, but he would not even ask. It would be safer like that. Thane nodded, but he was happy that he made his friend smile like that. He was completely serious that he had bought the store. Thane was quite proud of his store, and loved it. He smiled even more and he said, "I was lucky when I had managed to find it on sale. I am quite glad that I got it. You can come and hang out whenever you place. I'm pretty laid back." That was obvious with the way that he looked and acted. He did not know that Sebastian had hung out there when he was in school, but that seemed so long ago. He did not know if there would be another time when the guitarist would come along. Thane moved his long hair to the side, and his teal eyes looked down toward the ground for a moment, and he let out a subtle sigh. He loved his shop but it was a lot of work to take care of. He would love to have a lot in there, but now he would have to worry about shoplifters and stuff like that. He didn't think that he would have any but it was still a constant worry.

"I kind of did, included a nice lounge for others to kick back and relax in. And I am offering to teach lessons to those wanting to play instruments." Thane was quite proud of what his shop was going to become. He hoped that many others would like it as much as the drummer loved it. He had every sort of genre of music all in the shop. He wanted to add some black curtains, but he would have to find a lot of big ones to cover the windows, maybe some blacklights. He had a lot of superb ideas. Thane could not help but chuckle a bit at his comment. He shrugged and he could not resist saying, "Perhaps, but don't let anyone see you, if you know what I mean." He started to mess with his little badge that permitted his access backstage absently with his hand, before he had to think of where exactly to go. Well, his house was an option, but taking a guy to his house? It seemed a little on the weird side. So, he could think of a little coffee shop that was not far from here. He passed it on his way walking to the entrance to see the concert for himself. Thane quickly thought of the name. It could be something bad blocking it, like a terrible accident, but he was not sure. He said, "There is a little coffee shop down the street. I say we can grab a cup and see if there is something deep blocking it. But if that doesn't work, we can just jam in my shop." He let out a wholehearted laugh because that seemed like fun, even if he hardly played the instruments with anyone. Sebastian would be the rare few.

Sebastian listened as Thane spoke about how he'd purchased the shop and what he had already done with the place. The musician was really happy for his friend and he couldn't wait to head to the place and check it out. The lounge area sounded really cool and Sebastian could already imagine himself, sitting with his feet up on a table, as he listened to some good ol' rock and roll. There was no better way to spend your time in Bas's opinion. With a grin, he nodded his head. "I bet you'll have tons of customers and a huge group of students before you know it." He'd heard Thane drum before and that guy had serious skills. He was pretty sure that he could play other instruments as well. So, if the cool decor didn't bring the people in, Thane's playing would do the job. It would only be a matter of time before enough word of mouth spread. Sebastian knew that he would definitely be taking the guy up on his offer to come as he pleased. He'd loved The Medley before, and knowing that a friend of his now ran the place made it that much more appealing. With a chuckle, Sebastian replied, "I won't."

The guitarist was quick to jump on Thane's offer to leave the backstage area. "Are you over all of this too? I sure am." Sebastian was done with the crowd, and his stomach growled its approval of heading out for a bite. He wasn't sure that a cup of coffee would help him get over his block but he was hungry enough that he was willing to go for the instant gratification and worry about his muse afterwards. "Sounds like a plan, Thane. You'll just have to give me a few minutes to get a few things before we head out" he said quietly, not wanting anyone to overhear him. His green eyes scanned the crowd, but thankfully it appeared that no one had overheard them speaking. Sebastian didn't want anyone following him out or asking him where he was going or who he was going with. There were still enough people in the room, including the band's manager, who would do just that. Sebastian was hoping that he'd be able to grab his wand and stuff before sneaking away. The party could go on without him for one night.

Thane was quite proud of his shop, and could not live without it. What could he say? Thane was really settling down when it came down to his life. It was about time too. However since the dead of his girlfriend of the past, he was not interested in girls or boys since then. Thane was kind of wanting to go to his shop and just chill with a few pounding of the drums. Thane first did not want to deal with that right now, because he had a friend to entertain and he was going to do just that. Perhaps he could talk Sebastian into getting inked. Thane laughed, "I sure hope so. Sometimes I get rather bored in a new place." It was no joke that Thane was perhaps one of the more friendly celebrities that came around when it came down to music. Thane was great at it. What he was hoping was that his offer to lessons and things of that sort would bring people into his shop. He cared more about making friends and establishing a social life than making good sales. He wanted to be around people, give them the best there was when it came to music, and that was why he loved his job now, all of them and that including traveling.

"You got it right, as much as I love crowds, sometimes enough is just enough." Thane may love social interaction but man this was just getting uncomfortable. The musician was just done with the crowds right now and wanted to have some quiet time with one of his buddies. However he was glad that Sebastian had taken him up on his offer. He did not know if Sebastian had to be back at his place after some time, but Thane was not the type to keep a party going all night. "All right," said Thane when Sebastian said that he would have to wait a few minutes so he could get his things. Thane was unsure if Sebastian's block would go away after this though. One could only hope. Thane looked around and he could see the manager looking directly at him before Thane turned his teal eyes to the side, and he waited for his friend to come, as Thane managed to sneak out of the room and he leaned against the wall on the outside. He figured that one day away, perhaps chilling with him will help out Sebastian. If not, then Thane did all he could.

Sebastian watched Thane slip out before he turned back and headed towards the corner where he had thrown his jacket before the show. As he dug through a pile of coats that had been stacked in a chair, Sebastian could feel eyes trained on his back. He even knew whose eyes they were, but Sebastian did not bother to acknowledge them in any way. Finally finding his black military jacket almost at the bottom, Bas flipped it around his shoulders and began to put it on. "Where do you think you're going?" hissed his manager. Bas ignored him, instead choosing to begin buttoning his coat. "You've got interviews to do" his manager continued. Bas raised his pierced eyebrow. "I did those already...before the show. I'm heading out." He hated that he had this person keeping tabs on his life, making sure that his life fit perfectly into some stupid schedule. It was annoying and Bas had been known to rebel against his manager in the past and not show up to interviews on time. Bas knew it was unprofessional but at some point he wanted to feel like he was still a little in control of his own life. "Bas..." the guy replied with a sigh. "See you tomorrow" Bas replied, finishing the last button and patting the pocket to make sure his wallet was still inside.

Bas headed quickly for the door, not wanting to explain to anyone else where he was going. As the door slammed shut behind him, Bas looked around and grinned as he spotted Thane. "I'm freeeee" he sang with a chuckle as he stepped over to the rocker. He stopped once he was in front of his friend and waited for him to begin leading the way towards the coffee shop. He had no idea where it was. Sebastian was never in New Zealand much these days, so he didn't really know anywhere except for the Makutu Mall. If they were in France, it would be a different story. Bas knew all of the local coffee shops, though he really only frequented one place that was about a block away from his flat. It had the best coffee and scones, was a great place to write and he was usually left in peace because it was mostly old people who went there and no one knew who he was or cared. It was the best place ever. Bas's green eyes stared down at his shoes as he walked, watching his steps. "So...you ever had a bad case of writer's block?"he asked curiously.

Thane expected nothing more but a good time tonight. He never saw the reason why people would not let the other have fun. Fun was what was needed in life. Thane got all he could do for fun since the tragic accident with Rina. Some things were better left unsaid however. Thane stuck his hands into his pockets as he waited for his friend, expecting the manager to want to have Sebastian stick around. No, Thane was going to steal him away for the moment. Perhaps for the night, but Thane could not assume anything like that. Not like they were going to go out and get hammered and then end up doing something they'd regret. Thane didn't do things like that, not since he had something go terribly wrong and scare him from it permanently. This was speaking only from alcohol. Thane cracked his neck and he smiled a little more when Sebastian emerged from the room, and then they were free for the night. He even laughed when Sebastian sung his thoughts. Thane did not know his way around New Zealand, but he would figure it out eventually. He was good like that, "Freedom comes with a price, but I think you gained profit by leaving." All in good humor, he laughed whole-heartily. How two boys could have fun, there were a huge possibility of choices in the world, and Thane was determined to help out a friend overcome his massive case of the writer's block. And not in the way of just talking about feelings.

The walk seemed a little silent, but Thane was fine with it too. He was a laid back guy, but the coffee place he knew of was up ahead. The walk was not far. Clearly not worth apparating for. Looking over with his blue-green eyes, he shrugged, "A few times. But most of the time, it was after I cracked through the problems was I able to write again. What you might need is some inspiration, which maybe after some playing around and goofing around could help out. Though if it is like emotional issues, then I would recommend a therapist before sinking slowly into madness." Thane had added on an intentional spooky tone to the ending, even though it was true. Some writers ended up sinking into complete madness because of the writer's block. Many people have abandoned their careers once they could not break through the block. Thane hoped that Sebastian would not be like this. Perhaps all he needed was to have some fun, or maybe even needed a girl. Everyone had their own inspirations. What helped him was donating to the local orphans. He loved kids, and wanted to do some good so that helped him out. Once arriving to the shop, which was almost empty thanks to the concert, Thane asked, "How long has the block been?" Perhaps it was not long, but if it had been years, then Thane might not have what it takes. He would need to capture a muse for him. Thane was sure however, that his friend would be able to write again.

Sebastian continued to walk, his footsteps the only sound he made, as he pondered Thane's words. He let out a soft chuckle as Thane spoke about sinking into madness. "I don't think it's that bad" he laughed. He didn't deny that he needed some inspiration though. With how busy the band was and Bas's lack of a social life, there wasn't much around to inspire him. He knew that most people thought that being in a band would be inspiration in itself, and usually it was. But, there were times when Bas wished that he could take a step back. It seemed that fame brought with it some unique problems that Bas hadn't anticipated. The more they did and the more gigs they played, the more their manager wanted them to do. It was as if every single second of Bas's day was scheduled and free time was a thing of the past. Bas knew that voicing this would make him sound ungrateful for his fame and he certainly wasn't. He was just having a very difficult time adjusting to it all. Bas had the feeling that part of the problem was because of his lack of friends. Bas certainly counted his bandmates to be some of his best friends, but sometimes he needed time to hang out with non-band people. People he didn't see every single day. That's why this time with Thane was important. Otherwise, Sebastian wasn't sure that he wouldn't sink into madness.

Thinking for a moment, Sebastian really tried to think about when he'd first noticed the writer's block. "I dunno" he began, his hand drifting towards his earring before he realized what he was doing and rubbed the back of his neck instead. He was really trying to kick his nervous habit, though most of the time he was unsuccessful. "I guess in the last few months...around the time we started this mini tour" he said slowly, realizing that the last song he'd written had been after their first gig on this tour. He couldn't believe it'd been that long since he'd written anything that he liked. "What do you make of that? You think this block is because of the tour?" he said skeptically.

Thane was very thankful that his writer's block was not that bad, at least, not bad enough to sink into eternal madness. He felt that he could help his friend through this, but he would have to figure it out soon enough for Sebastian. Maybe he needed a girl, maybe he needed some time alone. Thane grinned, "I am glad to hear that. I don't want to have to come visit you in a padded cell block." Maybe Sebastian needed some time to hang out friends, and having a band could be stressful upon the creative mind. That was why he did not bother with it either. He never liked being in a band. All the tours, all of the fame, it sucked the fun out of everything. Thane was starting to wonder if that was his issue. Maybe he could help out though. Thane was very willing to help out his friend. Thane nodded when Sebastian did not know when it started, or when he had first noticed it. Thane would have to go on what he was seeing anyhow. Thane would have to get him something good to eat too, sometimes good food released thoughts that were otherwise locked up. That is why people can't really think well on an empty stomach.

Then it somewhat clicked. Sebastian first noticed his writer's block around the time that they started the mini tour. Thane nodded when Sebastian started to be on the same level as he. "You know, with tours and stuff, it can do that. I believe anyhow, leaving no free time and whatnot. It sounds like it, definitely." Thane popped his wrist once to get the feeling back into his hand before he realized that he popped it a little too much. "Ouch..." muttered the drummer before he wondered what he could say about the writer's block. It wasn't like Sebastian could just drop out and go off on his own. Thane asked, "When does the tour end? Cause afterward, I would say, you need some time relaxing, stress free. Maybe goofing off. Having fun helps me out a lot when I need to write out music. I tend to go to the Bahamas." Thane paused for a moment, before adding, "To find the real reason behind how you feel about music. Man I sound like a guru."

Thane was wise beyond his years, or at least at this moment he was. The musician what other bits of wisdom his friend would reveal. Sebastian nodded as he listened, agreeing with a lot that the guy said. Already, Sebastian felt a little better. Whether it would help his writing was another story but he was glad to have someone to talk to, especially another dude. Bas had always been the kind of guy to hold things in, which wad why he had turned to music in the first place. He needed a way to get his emotions out. "Yea, you're the music guru" he laughed as they approached a diner. "Is this the place?" he asked as he headed for the door and held it open. Inside it was warm and cozy and...quiet. Sebastian listened to the light sounds of music mixed with static filtering from the bad overhead speakers. It was music to his ears at the moment. Slipping into a booth, Sebastian turned his earring as he thought. "I think we've got another month of shows" he stated with a frown. He wasn't really sure. The green eyed man couldn't remember when he had begun to lose track of such things. It had been a while ago.

" I think that vacation is a really good idea. I don't know about the Bahamas though...I've sort of always wanted to head to Sicily. My family is supposed to be from there." His father's side anyway. His grandmother had always urged him to head there but he had not had the funds to do so until very recently. Now, he had more money but no true time to spend it. Thane was right, though;he had to make the time. Taking a look at the menu, Sebastian looked up at his tattooed friend. "What do you recommend?"

Thane simply hoped that with what he was saying would in fact help his friend out. He really felt like he was the guru of music. It was definitely something he would enjoy saying that he was. Thane could think of one thing that would be able to help him out, if it was what he thinks it was. Thane turned to Sebastian before he placed his two hands together like he was praying, and he bowed to him when he laughed, just to bring out more laughter. He had always been a jokester even though sometimes it had landed him in trouble in Durmstrang, but overall he was a good lad. It was not something that he was really going to change either. He liked doing what he did. As soon as Sebastian asked if this was the place, Thane nodded and he went into the diner with Sebastian, also thanking him for holding the door open. He was a gentleman! They went to sit down, and he could not help but frown at the information that the bassist was handing to him. That was not good. "Wow, losing track, but a whole month, that will not help your writing muse." Thane did not want to tell him to take a break all together, not in the middle of the show.

But what other choice did the musician even have. Laughing, Thane grinned, "It was a suggestion. Sicily sounds pretty cool! Vacations help a lot, but unless you have a back-up for your tour, then your band will be screwed." This might already be obvious to the bassist but it was the only suggestion he had for the time being. It was just the thought of him dropping from the tour, and being on his own for a while. Thane had done that and never gone back. Thane already knew what he wanted from this place. He was good to go with what he wanted. Thane grinned and he said, "The hot chocolates are amazing. The bacon burgers are to die for. I get it every time." Thane had a thing for chocolate, almost like a female would. It was rather noticeable if one hung around him for like a week.

Sebastian stared at his friend. He hadn't thought about that. The guitarist was certain that once Willow had given birth, that their manager would line up a tour to show that she was back in the band. The guy didn't think he'd be able to handle another, surely longer tour. His green eyes glanced over Thane's shoulder and onto the glass that was across. He could see his own reflection in it and the look in his eyes worried him because he also knew the thoughts running through his head. For the first time in a long, long time, Sebastian Rossi was thinking of turning down a chance to play his music. The thought was a scary one in his head because Bas didn't know what he would do otherwise. Music was as much a part of him as breathing, and he didn't think that he had any practical skills unless you counted his potion making ability. But, Bas couldn't see himself in a room brewing potions all day as his grandmother had done. He'd go insane.

Bas decided to try out the bacon burger that Thane had suggested. It was every bit as good as the man had said, and for a while Sebastian was able to simply concentrate on the food. When he was done, he felt a little better. Food always did that to him. "Thane, I have to head out. But, I want to thank you man." Bas stood up from the table, first pulling some muggle money from his pocket and checking it to make sure he left the right ones. Once, he'd left a $10 bill to pay for something that only cost $1! Once he'd placed some money down, he extended his hand to his friend. It was meant as a 'thank you for listening to all my problems.' "I think I'm going to listen to your advice and see where it leads me."
