Its just a little while, nothing temporary.Jaden told herself when her mother decided finishing up at Hogwarts wasn't such a bad idea. She detested the idea, enough to change her mother's mind to temporary. Hogwarts wasn't where she wanted to finish school. Maybe. Right now, that's not what she wanted. I want to go home, back to Salem. She sighed in disbelief, how can she let her mother decide on everything. It seem unfair, and the worst part she never go to see someone she miss. Oh well, no use crying.

After unpacking and avoiding just about everyone around her, she ended out in the open air. It was warm outside, even in autumn she couldn't feel the familiar air she gotten use to up north. Now fall meant warm air, winter would be the coldest time of year but not new England cold. Heck, it felt like winter now. This confused her terribly, when she had been close to snow it changed to just cold air. Her light jacket could've been a little thicker, but that's just it. New Zealand;so did she. Wondering in fail misery, she let her feet converse guide her, no bother to look up. It made no sense, no one would remember her being gone anyways.

To say the least, Shaylah wasn't happy. It was only the week before that she had been humiliated by Markov. It wasn't her fault that he was a touchy b@stard when it came to his psychopath sister. Shay couldn't believe she'd ever loved him. Because of him, she had a massive bruise on the left side of her face which spread out from her cheek bone. It was painful some of the time but Shay had gotten used to the pain now and barely felt it most of the time.

Shay tried to focus her eyes on someone who was walking along the lawn not too far away. She recognised most people in the school and usually managed to put a name to the face but she couldn't with this girl. She definitely recognised her but in a way that you'd recognise a friend you hadn't seen for years and years and they'd changed so much that it was hard to realise it was them. Shay walked over to the girl and looked her up and down with a neutral expression on her face. "Do I know you??"

Jaden stop. There was a fair amount of bodies outside, despite the fact it was the coldest time of year. The weather didn't take on brutal effects, like it did up north. It snowed her, when it wanted too. It just wasn't regular mother nature using her magic. Do I know you? A voice came, one she didn't recognize at all. Since she ever spoken to one that own it. Turning upright, she saw a blonde girl standing in front of her asking if she knew her not.

"That depends when you ask about knowing...though I doubt I know you at all.." she shrug, it was true. Not many blonde talk to Jaden, or did she pay any attention to them at all. The older ones in Slytherin she stayed faraway from, and the ones that act tough she ignored just because she hated wannabees. Some were all mouth and no guts, a point and reason why she didn't have many friends.

Shaylah shook her head. "I recognise you from somewhere. Like you've been here before but I haven't seen you in ages." Shaylah shrugged. It wouldn't be the first time she recognised someone she'd never met before. She had animal instinct. She walked around keeping her eye on faces and taking in every face she saw. Sometimes she would see someone she'd met in Brightstone and think it was someone she'd met before. It was annoying but she was used to it.

Shaylah shrugged at the girl. "Never mind. It doesn't matter." She couldn't be bothered to talk to someone who wasn't interesting. There was no point in it when she could be doing other stuff. She turned on her heels and walked off in the other direction, wondering where she should go.

"Snobby b!tch" Jaden muttered as the blonde stride away. That gave her a more reason not to talk to them even more. They ask you a question and if you don't give them what they want they do well ignoring you right after. As if you didn't exist in the very same world as them. Jaden gritted her teeth, she was waging the option of stunning the girl or not. She soon picked not to, just because she excused herself very much not to be like them. She was probably in the same house, no doubt in her mind she was in the same house."Slytherins, so tired of my house"

Shaylah rolled her eyes at the comment that the girl obviously thought she hadn't heard. Most people never noticed how good Shaylah's hearing was. After all, she'd spent most of her life eavesdropping on hushed conversations in busy areas. She'd trained her ears to listen out for quiet words. Then Shay heard the girl's next comment and she stopped in her steps. "You want to insult Slytherins in front of a true Slytherin?? For the love of Merlin, you're even dumber than you look." Shay wished she could get away from the school and everything in it but Slytherin was the house her dad had been in so she stuck up for the house no matter what.

"A true slytherin? Are you that arrogant and full of yourself. What does that mean anyways?" she was let out of her own house. SHe didn't even know what the girl meant by true slytherins. Its like a secret code to the redhead, am I suppose to be afraid about that? She continued to stare indirectly at the girl, she wasn't a threat to Jaden. Not now she wasn't, Jaden could take her own. That's if she remember the magic she learn in Salem, she knew she could. It wasn't hard to, she waited to prepare herself before she decided to use magic against this girl.

Shaylah rolled her eyes. This girl was completely naive about the whole situation. "A true Slytherin is a pureblood who fits the bill in every way. That means you don't even talk to scum unless you're insulting them." It was he only conversation they deserved. Muggles were disgusting things and mudbloods were thieves. "Yes, you are supposed to be. Or at least you would be if you knew who you were dealing with. Good luck graduating from this school alive." Shaylah liked slow torture the most. It was more fun.

"Oh is that so? Are you a pure blood than? Cause lately that's all I hear everyone talk about being pure of blood when they aren't even one themselves" Jaden roared back, the definition of a true slytherins seem like another child's fable. Something you were teach in elementary school and grew up believing, till you've open your eyes to the real truth. No she wasn't a slytherin, or any of the other house either, cause from beginning she always represented herself more than any house claim. "What the hell claiming to be a true slytherin benefits me. That's what I'd like to know! Last time I heard its what you can do with magic and not what your status claims you to be" she kept saying, though her voice was hissing at the end. Sort of like a snake hiss, or what someone say about having an acid tongue. "Now go away with yourself, look up the definition of hypocrites maybe you'll see a slytherin flag in there too"she stood up, Jaden hated girls in her house, all because of Lily she felt strongly to dislike them.

"As a matter of fact, yes I am. Both my parents are pureblood which makes me pureblood as well. If you would like some time to let your brain work that bit out then you can have it while I'm not around. It may take a while for a simple mind like yours to work out that people like me are better than scum like you." Shaylah had always been told she was a pureblood but she was actually half blood because of her mother. Of course, she wasn't likely to find that out any more seeing as her mother was dead and her father was in azkaban. "It is what you can do with it and Slytherins can do more than other houses. There's just the odd thing that makes it's way into Slytherin with no brains and dirty blood. I don't know how they manage it." Then Shaylah laughed. "Hypocrites?? How the hell are we hypocrites?? We laugh people in the face when they do something that you'd never see a decent Slytherin doing. Nothing about that spells out the word hypocrite." This girl obviously had no idea what she was talking about.

"I call them hypocrites because a muggel born like myself in in that house, and they say its all about blood status when it truce its not. That's why I can it hypocrites. And the last time I check I'm not dirty blood, I'm not blood traitor and you can call me mud blood all you want, but in the of the day its all up here" she pointed to her mind. "Capabilities and Abilities. Nothing else, nothing less. And it doesn't take a genius to figure that out, but I suppose you lack more than just knowledge since your parents probably brain wash that tiny mind of yours" Jaden folded her arms to her chest. She wasn't mad anymore, instead she found this moronic girl to be hilarious in all ways. Shouting about blood status and such, that sort of nonsense didn't phase Jaden at all. This girl needed a real reality check, before she kept going on about blood status.
