Maya was on winter break, when she arrived in Salem just in time for the first snow to fall. She didnt have to take a plane this time, now that she was of aged she could use any form of transportation. She had used the floo powder network, even though she loath it with every fiber of her being, it was one of the fastest way to travel. She had arrived at her mother old shop, the one she will soon be running, while her mother thinks of branching another location down south. She was expecting her mother to be around, Mom Im home! she shouted at the emptied shop only to see a note appear just in front of the counter. Reaching for it quickly Maya read is slowly, her mother was gone visiting her father Allen, which Maya found pointless at times. Bloody hell. She cussed sort of British slang she picked up while in Scotland.
Not bother by it though, she went and grabbed her things putting them away in her home up the stairs from the shop. It only took her a few seconds, since magic was so easy for her now, just couldnt do it around muggels. Appearing back in front of the counter she took on the shops duties, sitting at the counter waiting for anyone to come by if there was anyone coming by today. Summing a drink and a snack in front of her, she begin to nibble on her sandwich while reading a books of dark arts that her teacher had given her, back at Hogwarts.
