Taylor held her fingers out away from her palm as she walked leisurely towards the doors that lead to the lawn. Perched upon her fingers was her new pet. A small fluffy little albino owl. Taylor adored him. Today she decided he was old enough to be let outside, he was still only a few months old, but Taylor needed him to send letters, so she had to do this earlier rather than later. She walked carefully through the front doors, hoping he wouldn't fly off and never come back. He stayed put, looking up at her with his wide black eyes. Some people would consider the small owl creepy, but Taylor thought he was adorable.
Taylor made it to a large tree with no one occupying the space underneath it, so she sat down against the trunk, still holding the little guy. She couldn't help but smile as he ruffled his feathers, making himself look like a small ball of fluff. Taylor stroked his head gently, knowing it was his favourite place to be petted. The small eyes closed in content as Tay continued to smooth down the white feathers.
Albus. Taylor's mind picked instantly. Albus would be a fantastic name for her owl. Albus was white in Latin and with her new pet being completely white expect for the eyes, it was perfect! "Albus." She tried out the name. The small owl opened its large eyes in curiosity. Albus it is. Taylor thought, pleased she finally had a name for her fuzzy little pet.
