Attacking the Chocolate Beast

Tabitha had been so excited when she learned that Hogwarts celebrated Halloween, and allowed the students to dress up. She had written home to her mother right away, and asked her to send a costume. Olivier hadn't disappointed. Tabitha wore a plastic helmet, a cloak with fake fur sewed onto the collar and hood, and had a fake sword to complete the outfit. She didn't even care that the cloak had a few patches in it. All knights got their clothes torn in battle right?

Of course the first thing Tabitha did, after looking at all the decorations in awe, was walk over to the Gryffindor table that was absolutely littered with candy, and treats. She had never seen this much sweets in her life. It felt like her 11 year old heart would burst from joy. Tabitha didn't waste anytime before attacking a bowl of chocolates like she hadn't eaten for days.

 

[Saffron Ironsong]

Saffron had a speckled lollipop in her mouth. It tasted like rocky road ice cream so that's why she had it at all. Most of the time she didn't even look at sweets but it was Halloween so even she could indulge herself. Saffron was wearing her full Death School uniform for Halloween which where a pair of black and white knee high boots laced up to the top, black and white robes which came down to her knees and a cape with a silver skull on her back. She had the hood drawn up all the way, making shadows on her face as it would have been required of her if she had stayed at her old school. Saffron was actually looking for her friends which she was still surprised she had actually made.

Walking up and dawn the tables looking for them when she spotted a girl eating chocolate like she had never had it in her life. "You are going to regret eating like that." Saffron commented bluntly then stuck the lolipop back into her mouth. She had noticed the girl around before. They shared Defense against The Dark Arts. Saffron normally stuck to those in her own house or those that she had met right off the bat seeing as crowds made her uncomfortable. She had half a mind to take several ice cream cubes with her and retreating to the common room if she didn't find her friends soon but now saw a chance to offer some helpful advice.
