Closed At the Park

Aria wanted out of the house. They had a new brother and while she did enjoy his company- he was with them now- it was the perfect excuse to go out to the parks. She had all of her brothers, actually, and she enjoyed it. It wasn't often she managed to have everyone's attention, and she planned to make the most of it. She skipped ahead, surveying the park, trying to come up with a plan. "Alright!" She declared. "Jacques, don't let Brio try to hide anywhere- I tried to make sure he didn't bring any books but I don't want to underestimate his smuggling skills. You two can mark the perimeters of our new base. Michael! You help me climb that tree, I want to get a birds eye view and see what we're working with. Oh! Maybe we should all climb it, find good places to sit where we can see each other and everyone else, and throw things at anyone that wonders too close!" Feeling proud of her plan, she skipped forward, jumping- and failing- to try and grab the lowest branch.

Brio didn't want to go out- he was in the middle of a good book and he knew if he let himself be dragged along, Aria would do her best to make sure he stayed up and moving. Usually he appreciated her concern and will to be around him, but it annoyed him when he had other things to do. He sighed as she instructed Jacques, looking up to their older brother with pleading eyes, arms folded behind his back- keeping the book tucked beneath his sweater in place. "Can't you just- pretend not to notice me slip away?" He asked softly.
